It really depends on the shop and if you keep an eye on the car and the work they do. I had to take a car back several times because when I was not watching they cut corners and the paint bubbled and rust came out. Which means they never prepped the body correctly.
Hey pretty good job and if you take care of the paint it'll last awhile....body work is key to a great paint job and shouldn't be rushed but like he said barely noticeable!
Not a bad paint job and I didn't even know MACCO is still a thing today. Maybe I should hit them up just to see how good of a job they do, otherwise I'd try learning to paint myself. Thank you for the content!
@@elcaminokyle6561 I'm back at it on Tuesday morning-things would be easier if they gave me a voicemail. I'll catch your call brother, we shall make it happen
Really Maacco and you paid 1650.00 should have used most of the money on the drive train, bought a harbor freight gun and paint from tractor supply and did the paint work yourself
The T-Bird looks great! Classic! Can't wait to see it all done. Good video, Brother!

Moparnut62 yep, he did a great work with the prep. Told him the prep is 90% of the job and that’s why we were so blown away by the results

Shitty body work? No candy coating?
$1650??? Unless Maaco did extensive body work and prep that's a $500-600 paint job. Looks nice but you left a grand on the table.
