Here in the US, in the last 30 years, we had one head of state getting head in his office. The next guy, supposedly a Yale graduate, could barely string a sensible sentence together and thought Africa was a nation. In 2017, we had a pu**y grabber as head of state. The only respite we had was from 2009-2016 when we had a head of state as phenomenal as this lady here.

She's a disgrace and you can't even see it. That's why she is plummeting in opinion polls. She is ruining this country as we speak. The US may not be perfect but they are running their country properly with lower taxes and more jobs, unlike Ardern who taxes and decreases jobs.

She strikes as a very friendly, warm and intelligent young woman. I hope that she does well for your country. Judging by the fact that she appears to have a very tactful and diplomatic approach means that she is well on her way to success. The best thing about Jacinda is that having her as Prime minister doesn't feel exceptional, its just normal. Having an intelligent, charismatic but caring woman as leader feels normal. It really hammers home how lucky we are here in NZ!

Jacinda Arden in NZ and Margaret Thatcher in the UK may have been at opposite ends of the political spectrum, but they are/were both charismatic leaders and competent managers of government business. Gillard was none of those things. Worse, when she was found to be incompetent, she blamed her failure on misogyny and because the idiot Abbott was a convenient foil, a significant minority of Australians believe have convinced themselves this was true.

I've never heard of or seen this lady before, and I know nothing of her political views, but I'm heavily attracted to her personality at once. How refreshing it is to enjoy the personality of a politician again.

She's on the left, but closer to Bernie than Hillary. But a lot of our "conservative" politicians would be considered Democrats in America. She's also super genuine and sweet. I've actually been able to meet her 3 times as she made it a priority to turn up at high-schools and universities to encourage young people to get involved in politics, and she is exactly the same where ever she goes.
She's exactly like this in person too, so down to earth. I met her in the lead up to our elections last year and had the opportunity to grill her on health policy, and she absolutely knew her shit even though Heath wasn't her primary portfolio. She's an incredible woman and I'm proud she's our prime minister

She's pretty genuine, I met her at the beginning of last year at my uni campus (a few months before she became deputy Labour leader), and had a pretty good chat.

I've always been obsessed with NZ, since childhood. And although I won't travel anymore, so I'll never end up visiting, it would have been magical, I'm sure. But WOW! The people there are so lucky (or were)! My goodness, what a CHARMING lady! She's just like on another level. It's wonderful watching her interact with Stephen.

@@triandiscrim558 Deaths per million were pretty low in the US compared to other places, so you did ok. NZ was unlikely to have a problem whatever it did because it has half the population of London, spread out in a country bigger than the UK and not many visitors. She is no hero, less important and in control of less people than a city mayor and she has sold her people out just like everyone else.
Korea did well once the virus took hold but they did nothing to stop it getting there. For a country so close to China, Korea was remarkably lazy at first.
Never seen a country leader this chill. She's just like a really down to earth normal person.
