After so many years, still my most favorite Sports movie. Racism, friendship, trust, honor and Football.. so many things touched yet nothing got left behind.
Such a powerful moment for Yoast. He was faced with such a conflicting struggle. He wanted the Hall of Fame more than anything & he cared about the team. But he wanted it fair & square. Not like this. And he knew how wrong it was to loose your chances as a coach because of a fixed game. Imagine the humiliation & danger he saved Herman from. It was more than just saving Herman as well. It was saving the boys from the massive media circus that would have came, the harassment from the town, & the schools reputation. Imagine if word had gotten out that Alexandria was involved in a fixed game. So much was on the line & this moment changed the movie

Anyone else run through a wall after hearing this speech?
😂😂😂 power levels up
Yes !, my whole football team seen it together right befor our game against Miami Carol City. We got whooped 28-7 but this was motivating

Blew up a gunner's nest through a wall after my Squad Leader told me to "Blitz their ass!"
I love this movie
I simply can’t understand how you can’t like this movie. My own generation never fails to disappoint.
I was all about Hayden Panetierre's adorable little football fanatic daughter in this movie. She was killing it.
3Rayfire had no clue that was her daughter .
S.S .A straight up paedophilia right there
it's her, not her daughter, Brett
S.S .A she 9 my dude like wtf
The Communist & Christian Rodriguez
How is that pedophilia? Do you guys think that she didn't age in 30+ years?
I come back here every now and again when I need to remember I have the ultimate official on my side, the Holy Spirit🔥🔥🔥
No excuses. Not another yard. I’m blitzing ALL NIGHT👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Leave no doubt‼️
"the ultimate official" lol
yes, your ultimate official rigged the game against you so you would kiss his ass.
he set up Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they were like toddlers, with no knowledge of good and evil, ergo could not know that not following god's commands would get them in trouble. ergo, by putting them in that situation god set them up. then when they failed, god decides instead of a teachable moment, he uses it to condemn every human being born after them to be punished.
that is "the ultimate official" you worship. he is more like the referees in this game before they got threatened with being outed. your ultimate official isn't on your side, he is mentally and emotionally abusing you and you thank him for it. threats are not love. and unconditional love requires nothing, but your god demands worship or he will condemn you to hell. please tell me how that is being on your side?
After so many years, still my most favorite Sports movie. Racism, friendship, trust, honor and Football.. so many things touched yet nothing got left behind.
Gives me goosebumps every time. One of the greatest movies ever made!!!
"Run it up Herman; leave no doubt." This is an underrated line. "Let the boys play and let the game be fair" is one thing. But "F*** them and make those racists look stupid" is a completely different thing.
Agree 1000%. THAT is the to me, the line of the movie. It is at that point that Yost communicates to Boone, "Ok, I'm ALL in now."
Way underrated line. Coaches running up the score is the worst sportsmanship and forbidden in high school football. This was the exception
@@adamboyle3331 I mean, to be perfectly honest, who cares if its forbidden if you know you've already lost your job. What else can they do? Take it twice?
@@adamboyle3331that's not in a situation like this or when you have an all white team that you know there are some racists on you have to check them with that s*** just to let him know because if you don't let white people know constantly and I'm a white person the fk up of a hateful race most of them are inside you're not doing your job
Easily the greatest Disney movie of all time loved this as a kid growing up, I still pop it in every once in a while
One of the greatest lines in movie history! Will Patton nailed that line down to a T! I was most definitely inspired by that line ever since he said it! This is one of my favorite all time films and most definitely in my top 2 of all time sports movies!
Now that's how you tackle racism!!! - head on and literally. 😁
only way to combat it is straight up in the face of the person
You got that right damn it.
😁👈👍
It was just a movie. In real life, both teams were integrated. It was a good scene though.
@@teej783 in the 70's? You dream cowboy
This moment in the movie was always so powerful. This was one of those times when you recognize how Will Patons character was overcoming his internal moral struggles and that he truly stood behind and with his new head coach.
That musical score is fantastic!
Who’s here because the Pats and Ravens will REMEMBER the night the played the Titans!!!??
That loss hurt. It really did but the Titans played their ass off. My Ravens came up short. ☹️
The Titans are watching it before they play K.C. tomorrow
@@carabela125 I hope they crush K.C
Samuel Sir ...that’s funny as hell dawg 😂
Chills every time i watch this. One of the greatest movies i have ever seen.
YOU BLITZ ALL NIGHT!!!!!
I appreciate what Coach Yoast did here. He put integrity over the Hall of Fame. True respect for him.
Nothing more powerful than a good man stepping up
“Run it up Herman. Leave no doubt.” That’s cold as ice.
7 years later, still getting goosebumps from that speach ....
This will always top any other football movie there ever was.
No way, it is good but not the best, Friday Night Lights was better
Not friday night lights the real movie!
been watching this movie for 20 years still gives me goosebumps EVERYTIME
If Denzel calls you a cheater, you're a cheater. This WHOLE movie is a lifestyle that I wish we could adapt throughout humanity. I love you all and remember the only thing that can defeat hate is love
A almost perfect movie , no black no white just TEAM
Brains before BS Minus the frivolous and unclassy finger point, you are right.
Respect
I will never know the answer, but what would have made this great movie perfect in your eyes??
It’s just like what sunshine‘s dad said, if they can fight a war together, they can sure as heck play football together.
Yoast's speech gives me goosebumps every time
My ex girl and I somehow ended up talking about movies that make us tear up no matter how many times we've seen it, and my answer was (and forever will be) Remember the Titans ... her response was a dramatic eye roll followed by "ughh of course it would be a sports movie" .. the word sports delivered with such venom lol ... she'd never seen it at that point so I talked her into watching it, and a few times throughout the movie, I'd glance over all teary eyed, and look at her teary eyed self and say....
"Told ya..."
This was one of my favorite movies as a kid. My middle school football coach put this on in class atleast 5 times a year lol
Two minutes left in the 4th Quarter and the opposition get a one yard gain to get to their own 11.
"ALL OF YOU... OUT!!! ASHAMED OF EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU!!!
I don't want them to gain another yard. You blitz all night.
Danny Davis Or I'll take every last one of you out.
Danny Davis de bon ivp.
while the coach on the other side
did you just hear that they're gonna blitz all night, let's throw a screen pass
Danny Davis yeah we watched the clip we dont need you to say it again
Screen, Screen, Screen
This will forever be my favorite movie
One of the best movies ever made in my opinion. Freshman year my coach had my freshman football team watch this to promote unity in us all it def amped us all up
I can watch this any time it comes on! Love this movie! LEAVE NO DOUBT! Gets me pumped every time I hear it.
YOU MAKE SURE FOREVER THEY REMEMBER THE NIGHT THEY PLAYED THE TITANS
YOU BLITZ ALL NIGHT. Fav line ever from this movie
MAKE SURE, THEY REMEMBER, *FOREVER*!
@@Ser_Arthur_Dayne "The Night they played The Titans"

The tipping point was not the racist opposing coach but seeing hi s OWN DAUGHTER know what was going on!

Spihk Heartbust!? Analyze & Discuss why Falcon Server Eric crushed Bozeman Hotmail Recipient's foot on Purpose during a Falcon Server football practice!
I mentioned this before....I was at the All American Army Bowl 2002... Coach Yoast and Coach Boone were the honorary coaches, Denzel was in the audience, his son was All American...I have Boone's and Yoast autograph.... in the program.... for me it's special...yoasts, wrote " always remember the titans" good stuff!!
Imagine being in a football game and they put that speech so everyone in the stadium can hear it .Just thinking about it gives you Goosebumps .
