Yeah John Gibson I was dying of laughter. Funniest line in the movie is the most idiotic comments I’ve ever heard come out of someone’s mouth you dry breathing scum bag cuck
Anyone that knows Leigh Ann Tuohy says that Sandra is the exact copy of her. Her husband says that it's scary to see two Leigh Ann(s), her children while Sandra was around were calling her the shadow. The story behind the movie and the character is beyond amazing.
Lol I knew this movie was bullshit when I seen an interview of him. The character played above is two steps above Radio. Happy to see it getting exposed.
In real life Michael Oher was already a great football player, his mom never did this and he hated this scene because he felt it portrayed him as dumb and unable to learn on his own. Edit - For those of u saying "It's just a movie not a documentary!" I know it is, and I know changes have to be made for the sake of telling a better story, I get that. But it's gotta be changes that make sense, and it doesn't make sense for the film to have him struggle to comprehend how to play football even though he knew how to play basketball at the beginning of the movie. I think it also says a lot when the real Michael Oher claims the movie ruined the way people look at him. 2nd Edit - The news just came out about Oher not being adopted and how the film hurt him and his image since it came out. So for all of u in the comments who didnt believe me... Fuck u and have a nice day!😂😂😂
Tiffany Cox Yes and I actually agree this scene was completely unnecessary, I remember watching this for the first time and cringing because of how ridiculous it was
I think the lady Sandra Bullock portrays is the best example of good people who use their money for a good purpose. I say less than 0.1% of rich people will do the stuff she did, unconditionally.
By the time the Tuohys brought Michael into their home, he was already a rising star athlete and already had scouters on him. The kid already knew that game to reach that kind of success. It was as if the Tuohys saw the opportunity and took advantage. BS how this movie painted the white savior nonsense.
Ok why is NO ONE talking about her walking away and the WHOLE team (even the assistant coach) checking her out, and they continue to check her out until Burt says with a look of disbelief "Wanna run a play?!", that's the funniest part from this scene🤣🤣🤣
He wasn't an all american then. And She didn't teach him football. She just explained the basic portion to him in a way he'd connect with. You don't need to be a rocket scientist for that.
Oompa Loompa here is your tailback... Oh god. That had my family and I IN STITCHES. Lol. But in all due respect, The Blind Side was an awesome movie all around.
Is this movie called The Blind Side because they're not able to see that Michael is a fully grown 24 year old giant of a man playing the part of a teen kid? Honestly, movies like this are not realistic at all. Using a 24 year old man who happens to be extra extra large in size is not convincing hes a 17 year old boy, sorry.
That family is now doing damage control. They’re just NOW removing the illegal conservatorship after 20somwthings years, after playing in the NFL. Scumbags took advantage of this guy.
This scene sums up one of the biggest lies about this movie. Michael Oher was one of the best offensive lineman in the state, BEFORE he ever met the Tuohy's. He got into the school because he was a great athlete. He also was a star basketball player. This was all BEFORE he met the Tuohy's. This movie is basically saying the Tuohy's turned Oher from a flat slob who couldn't block into a 5 star prospect in ONE season. If Oher didn't play sports, the Tuohy's would've never met Oher in the first place.
The Tuohys saw the opportunity to make money off the kid and swooped in and took advantage They made sure they locked in the potential money bag by tricking him into signing the illegal conservatorship which they are just NOW trying to end, after Michael played in the NFL and after him having a life and married no less. This movie aged like milk with the whole contrived white savior nonsense.
I read Oher's book and he said he put up with it because he hoped it would help foster kids. With all the law changes there will be hundreds of thousands of more foster children. Our foster system is terrible.
@@anthonyfoutch3152 I can relate. I grew up in 2 foster homes. The sad part about that movie is it didn’t really go into Oher’s life before he met that family and basically erased most of his childhood.
I grew up near where this happened and its uncanny accurate. The clothing, the mannerisms, the interior decorating, the Thanksgiving food and the accents! Its a rare movie that gets all the nuances right.
Except for the ACTUAL story which they (the family) made up to make them look like angels. The real Michael Oher already knew how to play football.
