The security guard is Lou Ferigno, played the TV series hulk. The word hulk, was first used before the 12th century, so the word has been around for a while.
Woah really?! Thanks for letting us know, how interesting! ~L
Damn..I miss this version of the "Incredible Hulk" before they made him more family friendly..Edward Norton is still the best version to me as
"Bruce Banner" . In the TV show he was called "David Banner" . I wonder if we will ever get a true "Hulk" Horror movie. I enjoyed watching this one. It's definitely underrated.
I would love a true horror Hulk movie!! That would be awesome. Is Hulk your favourite character? ~L
@Flix-n-Feels I used to watch the TV show growing up as a kid, the opening scene of the movie of Bruce experimenting on himself is a nod to the TV show, which is a cool detail.
Ah ok nice, see info like that from you guys is huge for us as when we saw it, our thought was this is a wild start, but that makes much more sense when you explain it. Thanks so much! Im glad Marvel kept all these little nods to the originals.
Lou Ferrigno was that security guard and yes he was the original Incredible Hulk
Lou Ferrigno! It was on the tip of my tongue! He's a pretty big boi!
Also in the beginning you see Banner watching a television show with a clip featuring the original Dr. Banner from the 70s, Bill Bixby@Flix-n-Feels
Woah didn't pick up on this! Will scroll back through to have a look!
Fun Fact: Edward Norton and Tim Roth filmed their Hulk-Abomination fights on a stage, using motion capture, and thirty-seven digital cameras. Loved Ed Norton and Liv Tyler chemistry ❤
Woah no way! That's so cool! Love the insider knowledge 🤗 ~L
47:50 immortal hulk comics is my favorite hulk stories its like a monsters movie and i love it man
I don't think i'd have any idea where to start.. what would you suggest for someone who hasn't got to read any of them before? ~L
@@Flix-n-Feels that's a tough question honestly I don't know what the right answer is what I do is I just read comics from writers I'm a fan of for example chip zdarsky is one of favorite writers and he wrote some of the best daredevil comics I've ever read so I just read more of his work but the hard thing is reading comics is a very tough hobby it's not for everyone
Ok all goods, thank you for the reply! I will have to try and investigate it further, i will look at that writer too though 😊 thank you. ~L
👍
Always loved the Norton hulk!
Yeh we really loved it, a little surprised how good it was as you don't hear much chat about this one.
@14:05 his name is Lou Ferrigno, he played Hulk(as Dr. Banner transformed into him) in the original TV series(1977-1982).
Thanks so much for this, his name was on the tip of my tongue!
@Flix-n-Feels no problem, I used to watch that show as a kid. He's the first Hulk I knew.
I love the hulk
The Hulk is pretty awesome thats for sure!
Addendum: Assuming you are following the MCU movie series, it may be of some benefit ultimately to watch the Fantastic Four movies (2005, 2007), Ghost Rider movies (2007, 2011), Blade movies ( 1998, 2002, 2004), Spider-Man movies ( 2002, 2004, 2007 and 20012, 2014) and the X-Men movies ( 2000 - 2017). I know, it's a lot. I'd say the first Blade, Fantastic Four and X-Men movies would be a bare minimum...
I'd also add the Daredevil TV series sometime after The Avengers (and maybe the Daredevil movie too for the LOL's). Daredevil is now cannon, and it's also worth seeing Jessica Jones season 1 too, maybe even the Punisher series.
@steved1135 Yeah nice, thank you for the recommendations! 100% agree and will try and bump some of those up on our to-do list, is a blessing and a curse to have so many films to get through! Really appreciate you suggesting these for us.
@MrDarkwing78 Ok yup, Daredevil timeline slots in after The Avengers? Just trying to get a timeline sorted on things to watch!
@@Flix-n-Feels The official release order was “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” after Avengers and Daredevil came out after season 2 of that, but yes, you can do Daredevil at any time after Avengers. There’s really only lip service to the Avengers movie in the first few episodes but then nothing in the way of crossovers.
@@MrDarkwing78 Agreed.
Yay! Loving this channel! I wish you all the best with your growth!
Thank you so much! So glad to have you back!
I love these reactions! Her journey is going to be so fun to watch, especially when things really start to connect and the story begins to build.
We hope so! Glad you are enjoying watching! 😊 ~L
Lou Ferigno, the security guard, was a bodybuilder back in the day. He played the Hulk in the TV series. Back then, they didn't have great CGI so they put green body paint on Lou to play the Hulk while Bruce Banner was played by Bill Bixby, RIP.
He's definitely built like a bodybuilder 😅 oh that's super cool, I'll check out the TV show! ~L
Fun Fact: This movie marks the 4th time Edward Norton played a character with DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder).
Primal Fear
Fight Club
The Score (2001)
Wow that's really interesting, he plays the character super well. I haven't watched these other films, do you recommend them? ~L
@ yes
Enjoying watching you react to the MCU films. I really enjoyed this movie as well.
Thanks for your support! Really enjoying it so far. What's your favourite MCU movie?? ~L
18:17 - Remember this running scene and General Ross mentioning WWII as it will come in handy in the future.
Ohh 😮Will keep it in mind, thank you!!!! ~L
Remember you can watch the first to one shots after Iron 2. The consultant and A funny thing happened on the way........
In that order.
Thank you for this, we are up to date on them now, also, when Thor gets uploaded keep an eye out for the intro, a cheeky shoutout should sneak in!
No one EVER gets the Bill Bixby cameo whatsoever.
And with you two constantly giggling like schoolgirls, you'd think this was the greatest comic book comedy ever.
We appreciate you being here!
If that tranquilizer was formulated for the Hulk, then the dog is dead
Oh my gosh, that is so true!!! Eek 😂
Looking forward to watching your MCU journey!
Thanks for joining us! Loving it so far! 😊 ~L
Being an old guy I hope you start reacting t older movies from the 60s and 70s. A few of my favorites are, "Paint your Wagon," which is a mix of 3 styles. a Comedy, a Western, and a Musical starring Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood. Another is "Blazing Saddles," it is a comedy, western and definitely not politically correct. Another must see is the John Wick series.
We definitely want to expand out the movies at some point and will add these to the list, neither of us have seen these ones so they'd be great to see. Thank you for the input, genuinely appreciate it!
Can yall react to
* The Karate Kid 2010 movie.
*Hardball 2001.
*The Green Mile.
*The Pursuit of Happiness.
Will add them to our list, i wont lie, our full list is pretty big haha, is a blessing and a curse the amount we have to get through! Thank you so much for the recommendations. Which of those would be your favourite?
@@Flix-n-Feels Hardball
❤ love the reaction ❤
Thank you for the support!! What's your favourite MCU movie?? ~L
@Flix-n-Feels it's gotta be Avengers Endgame ❤️
Please & Thank you
Great reaction guys
Also, if you can and have free time, do react to other movie series too, like I read a comment that said to react to Transformers or The Dark Knight Trilogy, Pirates of the Carribean, etc. you get the idea what I'm trying to say
If you can do it, that'd be great too, you guys will get more subscribers from all those fans.
Keep doing the good work, we are here to support you along the way.
Thanks so much, definitely keen to watch all of these series! 😊 ~L
Nice. I love this movie. Sadly, for some time, it was unfairly ripped by the MCU fanbase, though not the OG comic book nerds like myself. This is just a great story. And it's the most comic book accurate Hulk we get. From here on out, he's made weaker and sillier... Keep up the great work.
I really loved this film too, much more than I thought I would! Amazing graphics of the Hulk, pretty scary seeming like I would've expected! I'm looking forward to seeing the newer ones and seeing where the character ends up. Is Hulk your fav from the universe? 😊~L
@@Flix-n-Feels Nice. Glad you liked it. I typically post my comment before I watch. I do really like the Hulk, but I'm a 53 year old comic book guy, and my top picks for characters aren't typically most people's favourites. At least 2 of my top 5 show up in this MCU string, but you're not there yet.... don't want to spoil anything. :-)
Ok awesome, hopefully when we get there you will pop back and let us know we reached your favourite!
Bruce didn't experiment on himself he wasn't born yet his dad experiment on him Bruce banner is a science experiment gone wrong
Wrong, thats the theme from the Ang Lee Hulk. He is the Hulk from a accidental exposure to radiation during a military field test, if you want to be accurate. Ang Lee changed to his father doing experiments to his unborn son and the 70s t.v series changed it to Bruce a.k.a David performing experiments on himself trying to tap into hidden strength within the body during times of stress after his wife died in a car accident and he was unable to save her.
@@johnlynem Exactly, the only thing you missed was here, where we're told Bruce was unknowingly working on a Super Soldier serum from WWII which he thought was leading to some kind of cure for cancer etc, and was so confident he tested it on himself. "Something went wrong... or very right"
Is pretty cool how the characters go through a few different iterations depending on what era you're reading/watching. So the MCU hulk we see in these films is from testing on himself?
@ It was, and this also provides a link to another phase 1 movie. You can guess which one. 😉
As a character I love the Hulk, probably one of my favorite. As a movie this has its downs but I think it’s mostly because of creative differences with Norton. I still enjoy it since it part of the MCU universe.
Really loved this movie more than I thought I would, I thought Hulk was super scary but really cool graphics! Who else do you love from the MCU? ~L
@ I’m glad you’re enjoying the start to the MCU, and I would say my favorite from character from this universe is hard to pinpoint but Iron Man and Captain America stand out the most. I don’t want to say too much or give anything away but all I’ll say is each character has their own unique personality.
Yup fair enough, really looking forward to getting to know all the characters better! Iron Man is pretty darn fun so far haha.
John Wick movie 🍿 reaction please my lovely friends 💓💖💗💞
Yess!! Added to the list 😊

🧡
hello, have you seen the movie Tarzan The Fearless?
Neither of us have seen this one, reckon we should add it to the list? One of your favourites?

👍🏿👍🏿
Thank you for the support!!
React to the lord of the rings
It's definitely on the list! Thanks for being here!
This is the first great Hulk film.
The Ang Lee directed one was crap.
I wish they kept this version of the Hulk, going forward you'll see how they nerfed my boy ...
Aww no!! 😕 I really loved this movie, I hope I enjoy the newer ones as much! ~L
Please react to Transformers movies and great video , your my favorite UA-camrs
Aww thank you so much! Yes have added to the list, I've heard good things about this move series! Which is your favourite? ~L
Please try to post regularly
We will do our best! Thanks for the support, what's your favourite MCU movie? ~L
@Flix-n-Feels It's tough ro choose one. There are too many. But Personally Captain America Winter Soldire, Avengers Infinity War/Endgame and Spiderman No way Home(Only for nostalgia) are up there on top
Ok awesome, we are really looking forward to getting to all of those!
