Im in my mid 40's and struggled with three bulging discs for over a decade. Last February I got back on a board after a 30 year hiatus.. It changed my life.. again.. Skateboarding helped give me the core strength and flexibility that I needed. I never thought I would be able to skate again.. Now I only wish I would have got back on a board sooner..
I’m 34 now I was heavily into skating from 99-2010 and was pretty good at it. I’m contemplating buying a board again and just doing some flat tricks from time to time since my niece wants to learn, but I’m just fat now and legs aren’t as flexible as they used to be lol but now I might after watching your videos man
At 48 I done my back in at work and my MRI scan confirmed some bulging discs. My physio knew I was itching to keep skating so encouraged me to bust out my longboard and just cruise around whilst I recovered. 6 weeks of stretches, strength building exercises and Longboarding and I was ready to get back out on my regular skateboard albeit taking it a bit easier. Well that’s my Autumn for you in one comment ✌🏻
Oh easy at 54 I can't always shred but I can always push down the street and if you are a surfer like me get that cruiser board and carve up the streets I have just as much fun doing that! Skateboarding is life and life is good!
