Not a fan of belly bands. If they are narrow, maybe 8 inches or less and present on an entire level, we will use 1/2" sheetrock at belly band with 5/8" sheetrock on rest of wall with recessed edges at band. Then it is just like a big band coated down the middle. Any more than 8" we put the band at the top. Cardboard shims to either side of butt joint to recess or at least flatten them. Or Buttboards.
Yes my brother this was the first time i ever used them myself which is why i got a cheap Amazon special and they are pretty handy. I think the 32" is perfect size for just about anything you're trowel can't do 😎👊👌👍🇨🇦🇨🇦
I see you're enjoying your new skimming blade, lol, keep up the great work 👍😜
I like the 2 hour fire rating you've got on your clothes
Lmfao 👍😂👍
Awesome information...
Thank you so much

Holly fuck, the amount of work that went into finishing those belly bands. Just put a rip up top
Yeah unfortunately i don't get to board the jobs 🤣👊👍😎🇨🇦but i get to tape them 😎😎👍🇨🇦
Nice job Big Brother🙌🙌
Saturday night and I'm watching work .. . . . 😅🤣🙄
Well i must say I appreciate it 😎🇨🇦👍👊
GOOD!👍
That’s cool man
Nice job as always. Makes you want to buy more slimming blades huh? Lol
Yup love the finish product
That's an ignorant way to hang drywall.... I'd rather have a 2' rip with a flat at the top and run it off stilts
Yeah i guess that's the benefit of boarding it the taping it but that's not the case 😂🤣👌😎👍🇨🇦🇨🇦
@@DCtaping trust me... I've been drywalling for 22 years...I get it.... Skimming blades rock...love mine
What’s the huge skimming blade you Canucks use called
A cheater stick or the slick stick lol or some call it a darby😁👌👍🇨🇦🇨🇦
Must admit that blade is nice my 14in trowel can do it faster.
OK. But my 12" or 14" flatbox can do it faster than your trowel. Use what you got.
They didn't have these wide skimming blades when I started out
