Just started using 1 last week. I've been skimming with 45 , on some beat up hallways, Once you get used to it, It's great 👍. Cuts sanding in half.

Can you do a video changing the blade? I took the sides off mine and it won’t come out I don’t want to break it

When you doing level 5 are you taking most of the mud off or are you leaving a thing consistent layer to later on sand and active level 5?

I just ordered a 24” for a ceiling repair, I used it by hand for a couple passes, so far it’s nice. Just got the pole and will be doing final pass next week.

If the joint is running vertical would you recommend swiping it horizontal or vertical? I have a repair job that left the butt joint with a hump running vertical. thank you for your time

Why did you apply and remove the mud horizontally? How were these walls prepared before this video?

Because you skim parallel to a drywall seem.

I'd go vertical to ensure a smoother finish.

If you go vertical the you’ll get excess mud over the corner edges onto both adjacent walls. You’ll creat 10x unnecessary work for yourself. She’s a legitimate professional…

Is this for professional skimming? I'm a new painter and decorator. I always wanted to learn skimming as a way to have a clean slate to work on.... Is this good for newbies like me. Maybe a 32 would be big enough for me.

@@LEVEL5Tools obv this is an American product but will it be able to be over in UK? I know we have similar ones over here too. Also as I don't know anything about skimming my college is hoping to do a skimming 101 class to teach us about it. Is it ok for doing normal skimming or just for drywall skimming? Could you do a tutorial on a normal skim for someone who doesn't have a drywall and also what to use for the mix (again I know some mixes you will have that we won't have and visa versa) thank you 🙂

I realize your comment is from 3 weeks ago, but I have a 32-in skimming blade and it works great because you don't need to use the entire 32 in you can fix a bad butt joint and only use 24 in of the blade if you wanted to.
So if I was only buying one I think I would prefer a 32 personally
