Video is sourced from the Master tape and improved with AI upscaling. And the new audio has been synced and remastered by me. Very happy with the final results on this one. I think it looks and sounds amazing now. One of the best recordings for both video and audio out there. This show is famous for Maynard taking down a fan who ran up on stage during Pushit. He played the rest of the song sitting on top of him.
Since seeing Tool live for the first time in 1998, I’ve always been impressed with just how damn good they sound, especially when you consider how loud they play. Their timing and sound production is flawless, nearly crystal clear regardless of the venue. This is a great recording, to not be tied to the sound board, it is very good quality. Thanks for sharing!
I miss the days when Tool would play small venues like the Astoria. I saw them play the Brixton Academy in 2002 and would love to see an upload for that. Great videos, thanks. Greetings to all the Tool Army! Much love from Leicester, England.

I had this on VHS years ago - thanks for preserving!
Bucket list: see Tool
They all (minus Danny) start out shirtless so you know they mean business.

lmao that is a wild moment when he threw him down and sang the rest of the song on top of him. So nuts. Surprised security didn't get him sooner?
Holy shit. Having watched the old version quite a few times before, this is fucking amazing. Nice work.
