Hey, I was at this show! I was standing right at the corner of the stage, basically to the immediate left of the person shooting this video. My friend played drums for the opening band.

I was also at the show ... First time seeing them!!

And Maynard right?? Singing his ass off at this show!

Mesmerizing! My brother and I were huge fans from the early 90's into 2000's . The last show we saw together was OzzFest in Tampa ... I think 92. That show in particular was the very best show I have ever been to. And, we went to quite a few over the years. He left me at age 39. Rocked my shit. I had to stop listening to Tool and didn't go to another show. Last year, my wife got us tickets to see them in ATL. I lost my shit. But, I purposly made her get seats off to the side and up so I could get a great view of Danny for the show. And, that I did. They sound dam near as good as they did back then with their older stuff and the "newer" stuff was on point as always!!! They have been doing it right for years. They will ALWAYS be my go to. It was amazing once I started listening again... could not believe it. Amazing. I sure hope they get at least one more album out!!

If you don't mind me asking, did you work the audio at all? And what is the source or sources? I went through a ton of their shows and don't remember this show sounding quite like this. How were the other unused sources? This may make a great contender for a matrix / remaster of the audio which i do for pleasure... sometimes professionally.

Man, the sheer power and speed of his double-stops played on both floor toms during THE GRUDGE is a sight to behold. Edit : I was fortunate enough to catch them on this tour and witness the spiritual undertaking of Danny’s LATERALUS chops being played in the flesh.
