Hey everyone! I'm very well aware of the autofocus issue lol. I was just in a rush to get down and start filming the reaction video that I didn't turn the lens from auto to manual. As you can see from all my other videos, this doesn't happen. I was using a DSLR for the quick setup instead of my usual cinema cam. Sorry for the mistake, don't let it bother you too much lol

I think Linus was super fair with that mouse review - he didn't shy away from potential pain points & things to be wary of when a UA-camr reviews another UA-camr's product but a lot of them were more generalised commentary than any direct digs because the mouse seems to genuinely be quite well done, very fairly priced & the only things Linus mentioned was very high-end testing Frank wouldn't have access to.
Knowing that the only thing frank could have done to rice his review, and his viewers more information, is to purchase data from LMG.. wow. They might be sitting on a gold mine with all the data they'll collect

I kind of agree... Although Linus may not have a lot of tech products, he has an entire store of things they have created. I agree that he likely wanted to support the mouse and I honestly don't think if the mouse sucked, that he would have even released the video.. He seems to be more than happy to help out his fellow creators. I would be curious to see if their is a spike in Franks sub count after this too.

Great point @wicked. IMO, my perfect mouse is one that is a natural extension of myself so I can translate my thoughts into reality with the least effort. The reduced weight here helps SO much. Congrats man. That could have gone way differently. I hope it gets more people finding your channel. Interesting story: I remember watching a bunch of your gaming headset reviews when I first started reviewing headsets. Thanks!
In regards to the O2, I think the main thing that Linus is talking about you not noticing is the terrible precision, not the latency. I only say this because that level of bad precision should have you feeling like each swipe you make of similar distances translating to different distances the cursor took
@@tmoo8779 1. not how reaction times work, just because a time is less than our reaction time doesn't mean it's not noticeable. 2. the comment you're responding to is literally saying how it was NOT about the response time but the precision. all of this is not to say that 10ms is a huge deal for anyone but professional competitive gamers or that the o2 would be unusable
I bet it's the debounce thing he speaks of that wasn't adjusted by Linus' team compared to him adjusting it. And thus the whole reason they had wildly different experiences
Debounce has to do with switches, not the sensor. E.g. the accuracy issue is about the sensor moves 2 inches and should move 1600 pixels on the screen (at 800dpi) but w/ low accuracy you’re moving exactly 2 inches and sometimes you get 1700 sometimes you get 1550 etc. debounce has nothing to do with the test that the o2 failed.

I watch basically every LTT video, mostly on the day they come out. I watch your stuff every now and then, then usually a few in a row, often keyboard or mouse related, also in for the "this months tech under $XX" videos. Didn't know you "made" your own mouse, but nice to see it was indeed not just a branding on an okay mouse, seems more and more people are learning that's not the best idea, you damage your name that way. Personally i'd never buy your mouse, but not because it's yours, but because of the shape, i basically only like mice with that lip ledge under your thumb, and slightly more shaped to my right hand, but that's it really. Nice job, and i can imagine having a fellow UA-camr rate/review your stuff can be pretty nerve wracking, if they like it at all, and there's always a chance they got a faulty product, however good your QC is, every now and then some slip through the cracks that have an issue. Like he had with the new AMD CPU recently. I had that with the last mouse i bought, the Logitech G502 Lightspeed, the mouswheel was VERY of center or incorrectly weighted to if you let it go with the heaviest part anywhere but at the bottm it would immediately auto scroll down, super annoying, returned it the next day and got a new one sent out that was fine.
I had a big tabletop UA-camr do a positive review my tabletop wargame and then release it on a Saturday. I had the same feeling. I didn't know what was happening and people started messaging me about the review. It was wild. Props to have Linus review your mouse!
Congratz! Nice job with the colab and the LTT review. With the Glorious O2, I think they usually want to run things out of the box because there are a lot of people that just buy it and use it with out making changes. They do that with headphones telling you what they think out of the box and then tell you that with the EQ you can make it sound perfect
After watching the video from LTT, I finally considered getting a new mouse after being a G502 fanboy for several years but they were all sold out :(. Beautiful design
honestly i'm really happy for you Frank, been watching you since around 2017, you've come far and you'll keep going up. Keep doing what you're doing man, always looking forward to a new video of yours.
Great review of the review. I think he did you well. And I feel your mouse is going to do well. I wish you all the best. More color options in the future would be good. My color scheme is different than yours, but I love it.
Congrats on the review! From a fan to a forgotten interviewer to being seen and appreciated! You've done incredibly well and you have all the momentum to rocket forward! KEEP GOING! HAVE FUN! You've earned it! Cheers!
I'm not interested in gaming mice, but congrats all the same Frank. :) And as for Linus - no question he gave your Pulsar mouse a very fair shake. Good on you Frank!
I was lucky enough to get one of the last ones! I'm eager to try it out when it arrives. You really deserve this shoutout (if you can call it that) from LTT, I hope it gives the channel the boost or momentum you've been waiting for.
Linus has recently started expanding his own line of enthusiast products so it's really cool that him and his team gave a genuine review of your mouse. Maybe he's thinking of collaborating with certain brands for his own gaming peripherals and is using Frank as a barometer lol.
I watched his vid when it went live, and I thought he did a really really balanced and fair review. You should be proud of everything really. :) This was a fun watch too. :D
Great reaction content! Frank James as a rebrand feels mature, seems like a solid choice. I listen to this like a podcast and I gotta say it worked fantastic. I would absolutely love a Frank James pod.
Without a doubt whether it was an accident or was on purpose, the x2 mini RFP edition is a goated mouse. give credit where credit is due props to you Frank and Pulsar.
My FP x2 arrived last week, and with owning a standard black x2, it is for sure a step up. I loved the shape that Pulsar made, but had to send it in for work on the switches after 3 months, and felt the encoder a tad heavy to depress. Feeling the new coating/switches, this nails it. It'll be on my desk for the foreseeable future. Hoping the new switches do not have the same issues as the first gen. Congrats on the collab, I couldn't be happier with it!
Awesome review, glad it worked out for you, you deserve it! I see linus got 0002, i got him beat in something lol! I got your unit 0001 with the holo card :P, thanks for that by the way RFPenis! Auction was a blast!
I just enjoyed seeing you so happy :) especially after struggling with the algorithm and taking us on the journey of your potential rebranding, this is well deserved, dude.
Honestly that was an awesome favor for Linus to do. You couldn't review it yourself, and while we know you wouldn't stick your name on a dogwater product, the biggest tech channel reviewing your own custom variant of the mouse objectively with machine validated numbers and resulting in an endorsement is the nat20 result.
Yo Frank, Linus held the mouse up at shoulder height and it blended in with him and the background. At which point my broken brain went "WOW how did Frank make a completely see through mouse!"
I'm an occasional viewer of your channel, and not that big of a mouse geek, but this looks promising. All the best for your sales, although it certainly doesn't look like you need it considering they're all sold out in Asian markets.
I was nervous for you when I first sat down to watch the LTT video. Fun then watching your reaction, when I knew you were gonna be fine. You never came back to it in the reaction, but when Linus wondered whether you noticed the crappy performance of the O2 you'd already potentially answered it at 14:36 of your reaction. Whether they adjusted the Dbounce in the Core software or not. If you did change and the issue went away that could explain why? They've got the gear for fancy testing, but you sat and used it for a while and adjusted it to work well.
This is my first time seeing your channel, Frank. Been listening to Linus almost since the very beginning though! I think he had either 40k or 140k subs when I started watching him. But so far I'm really feeling your vibe, and I think you and Linus should do a collab! I feel like you two would have great chemistry on screen together. Oh and you have a new sub by the way =)
I really would have liked to see a blind test where Linus demonstrates how bad a 10ms delay would be and how many people would *actually* feel it. Just saying the performance is bad without actually using it and experiencing it is a bit weird.
Pulling in knowledge from a different area of tech, both Citrix and VMWare conclude that most end users start noticing lag in their virtual desktops when it hits about 11 to 13 ms. So yeah, most people probably wouldn't notice a 10 ms delay.
The delay wasn't the issue, it was the sensor precision/accuracy. IE how many dots it outputs when you move it 2 inches. For a decent mouse like the other ones they reviewed, you'd see numbers hovering around 1600, with multiple repeat tests showing very similar numbers. It looks like according to their testing, the Glorious mouse was not only not outputting around 1600 dots, the number of dots it output was different every time. That makes it incredibly inconsistent and difficult to use, akin to a shitty office mouse.
the thing is you dont want LTT to review mouse they are not in-depth on it if you want an in-depth review for mouse either go for Optimum Tech or boardzy.
Not understanding the video and insulting people for it is even weirder. A mouse should move the same distance when moved the same distance within a small margin of error. The margin of error with the model o2 was horrible and has literally nothing to do with latency or 10ms.
Precision not latency. If you use sniper in fps you wouldn't post your comment. Precision in swipes is important. Watch the whole vid. They used it.🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
I mean you are the Guy that got me into Pulsar and they do really make good products. I've been using the V2 Wirelesss FE Edition 0819/1000 ever since it came out and I love it.
The second I saw Linus' video I immediately came to your channel to see if you dropped a response. I thought the timing was great after the rebranding video and channel health video. All the best!
Why was i expecting this and why did this happen 😂 But frankly (pun intended) These two videos only pushed me more to get a new mouse, i wanted to participate in giveaways and such but i am from India and it won't happen. So yeah, gonna get something budget friendly but someday will get a Frank mouse
Was super excited when I saw this mouse was coming out. As a Land Surveyor the topo pattern has always been a favorite of mine. I was looking for an upgrade from my Razer Viper Mini, and since the Signature Edition was so damn expensive I started looking elsewhere. Saw a lot of people recommending the X2/X2 Mini for fingertip grip and wanted to give it a shot. Been super happy with the mouse over the last week! Just wish I could get a matching mousepad.
I haven't watched your videos in years as I haven't been in the market for mice. LTTs video on your mouse has put it on my chart. Love the design and its exactly what I've been looking for. I'd take that video as a badge of honor.
one thing to note in terms of friction on the mousepad, even if any mouse uses the same material, its a matter of how big the skate area is in general, so the higher the skate area the higher the friction
You are actually much more knowledgeable in the subject than they make it out to be. I am glad I watched your reaction and congrats with the mouse release 🎉
I love LTT so much, but they need to get some people with true knowledge in those communities like mice and keyboard, compare the X2 to some random picks like Viper Ultimate, Glorious (of course this one was picked because of the review you did) and the original G Pro is so weird. They could compare it with the Superlight, Viper V2 Pro/Deathadder V3 Pro, Lamzu Atlantis and some others that people actually use for being top of the line.
Yeah but they did that based on it's price but you're also not totally wrong about the weirdness of their picks. I just don't see any gaps in the skillset of their employees.
@@klausmeier8758 Don't get me wrong, I love LTT and all the staff, but they are not experts on all the products that they review. Neither they should be, it's a very specific knowledge. Linus had no idea that Pulsar was a praised company among the gaming mouse space for instance.
the fact that you didn't realise in editing that you were talking about a different issue than linus is concerning, the 10ms was click latencey was not their main issue, and it might feel off of you are used to a more responsive click but that's not the issue. the issue was the accuracy or consistancy of the mouse which you shoild have absolutely noticed, eash move being a bit off from each other can mess up your muscle memory. some mentioned BF2041 having awful mouse implementation but that shouldn't matter as any reviewer worth a damn will review in multiple relevant situations (games in this case, eg. csgo, valorant, apex, whatever) the fact it didn't feel a little worse despite being significantly less consistent than what you're used to is strange. I'm not sure if they tested multiple O2s so they may have a bad sensor in their mouse idk. But considering the point of their lab is to get in depth data on the performance of a product they should be testing 3-5 of the same model to make sure that a, they didn't get a defect, and b, the quality control of the product they're testing, if all 3 perform differently they can't exactly recommend it and it also eliminates the chance of them getting a golden sample among a field of turds. that whole paragraph is to say, it would make no sense if they only tested one of each product.
They really wrote the review well tbh. They were very careful not to sound chummier than either genuine or responsible and covered every single aspect of the good and bad respectfully. And they did that all without tip-toeing around anything, which I appreciate because it would come off even worse if they just kept going around in circles.
You know Frank, this is exactly what i like about you. A down to earth very nice and kind guy. Respectful and friendly. Which is hard to find these days. Keep it up! 😎👊🏻
Yes I'm here Because I saw you mouse on LTT And I am looking forward to seeing your channel. I think your Mouse LOOKS STUNNING Frank. Notice Lynus wore a Shirt as close as humanly possible to your Mouse Color ! I knew it was going to be a winner from the start buddy. 😉
20:49 coming from an audio background, humans actually can't notice any differences between 0ms of delay and 12ms of delay, so a person could tell a difference between the 6ms and 16ms, but it's so fine that the average person can easily overlook it.
I bought a Model O Wireless a couple years ago after seeing it on one of your videos. The software was such an issue that I just uninstalled it. A lot of times it wouldn't recognize my device, would cause freezing and stuttering of the mouse and reset my settings almost weekly. Can't wait to upgrade, maybe to yours 🤔🤔

Can get one from max gaming no problem
@@BFF.Studios honestly. the new g502 is actually rlly fucking good

honestly i'm really happy for you Frank, been watching you since around 2017, you've come far and you'll keep going up. Keep doing what you're doing man, always looking forward to a new video of yours.
the fact that they got the 2nd mouse right after frank is INSANE
i cant get over the "random frank p-ness" linus dropped on us 😂😂
Glad to see LTT reviewing your first product. Congrats, seems like you and pulsar put out something awesome
Frank has a couple more products than just this mouse.
@@Odd_Cinderellaand what would those be?
He didn't call you RandomFrankPenis, he said it was the "RandomFrankP'ness" of the mouse. That was so funny. Well done Frank.
The thumbnail of this video should have a speech bubble coming from Linus saying “RandomFrankP***s” 😂
@@mikes978Ya that would have been perfect and right up his alley in terms of thumbnails
You really had to state the obvious huh. That was the whole joke.
what a call back to the walmart prebuild pc video they did
R/woooosh
Honestly pretty sweet seeing frank all giddy about his product getting reviewed 😂
I gotta say, you took the joke and the review’s criticisms with class. Great job, Franky. 😂
I like the RandomFrankP-ness of the video.
Great reaction content! Frank James as a rebrand feels mature, seems like a solid choice.
I listen to this like a podcast and I gotta say it worked fantastic. I would absolutely love a Frank James pod.
Without a doubt whether it was an accident or was on purpose, the x2 mini RFP edition is a goated mouse. give credit where credit is due props to you Frank and Pulsar.
true😂 linus kinda not enthusiast enough for mice. auto pro to gpro x superlight or razer 😅
I watched the review and was Frankly impressed, too bad i'm not looking for a mouse right now, but i cant say i wasn't tempted. good job man!
i love how when a tech creator get mentioned by LTT its like a blessing from the lord its so funny
I loved the fact that Linus reviewed your mouse and I was ansious to see your reaction on it :D Glad you posted! :D
Awesome review, glad it worked out for you, you deserve it! I see linus got 0002, i got him beat in something lol! I got your unit 0001 with the holo card :P, thanks for that by the way RFPenis! Auction was a blast!
The Writer knew exactly what he was doing when he wrote Randomfrankpness.
I just enjoyed seeing you so happy :) especially after struggling with the algorithm and taking us on the journey of your potential rebranding, this is well deserved, dude.
i have the very first wireless mouse they made. and im proud of the company
It's late but wanted to give you a big congrats on the new mouse. Clearly its good enough that Linus reviewed it and complimented it. Great job man!
Lmao I'm not an avid viewer Frankie but I'm stoked for you. Super cool
Congratulations on the great Pulsar X2 Mini RFP gaming mouse!
Oh and you have a new sub by the way =)
Love your channel. Love the real world experience testing. Don't mind or expect you to have a bunch of lab resources and equipment.
"i dont know what I missed".... Gos forbid you just re-wind it 10 seconds...
They used it.🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
I love this kind of candid videos, how genuine your reactions to Linus' review. I wish you guys collaborate on some mouse reviews in the future.
Why was i expecting this and why did this happen 😂
But frankly (pun intended)
These two videos only pushed me more to get a new mouse, i wanted to participate in giveaways and such but i am from India and it won't happen.
So yeah, gonna get something budget friendly but someday will get a Frank mouse
So inspirational. I've been watching Linus since 2011 too, congratulations on your greaat successss
Fingertip grip works great on the X2/X2 Mini?
@@biri-biri1827 Yeah it works really well for me. I have fairly large hands but I’m using the Mini and it feels really good.
@@xKillerSlothx I see. Thank you for sharing your experience with the mouse!
Congrats on the release and the nostalgia of having one of your favorite UA-camrs review your product. Pretty cool stuff
I am glad I watched your reaction and congrats with the mouse release 🎉
the only youtube personality that do a collab with a company and then not increasing their price on the product. hats off buddy. keep it up
I love LTT so much, but they need to get some people with true knowledge in those communities like mice and keyboard, compare the X2 to some random picks like Viper Ultimate, Glorious (of course this one was picked because of the review you did) and the original G Pro is so weird.
Any idea when it will be back in stock? Mouse looks really good
dont know if youre uk based but zerkgamingmods still has some in stock, thats where i got mine from :)
Those mice are usually one off units so once they sell out the only way you can get it is via aftermarket (ebay, reddit, etc)
They really wrote the review well tbh. They were very careful not to sound chummier than either genuine or responsible and covered every single aspect of the good and bad respectfully. And they did that all without tip-toeing around anything, which I appreciate because it would come off even worse if they just kept going around in circles.
2 million subscribers and can't get a camera with a proper focus. What an embarrassment.
Yeah the 2 minutes that I had to rush downstairs to start the reaction video, I forgot to switch from auto to manual. I think everyone will live.
I like your camera perspective. That's something new. You look at the video, for real, and look at us when saying something important. Nice, nice.
This video was a lot of fun! Love the transparency bro! You are true to your brand 💯
Good for you! You deserve the recognition
Talk about receiving a wakeup call. xD
Enjoyed the commentary a lot. Congrats dude! Well deserved!
I respect that he sneezed or something, and he didn't cut it out JUST to keep the 'first time watching it' experience for us very much.
I was happy to see LTT reviewing this mouse! Hope I can get something from Pulsar here on Brazil or at least on AliExpress someday :D
Great recognition from another tech pro! I’ve been watching both of your channels for years. Keep up the good work!
Im happy to see your more pumped in your videos! Your comedy bits are top notch!
2:53 is there a reason you didn’t rewind the video by hitting the left arrow key once or twice?
Congratulations frank. Been following you for over 5 years, proud of you for leveling up
I bought a Model O Wireless a couple years ago after seeing it on one of your videos. The software was such an issue that I just uninstalled it. A lot of times it wouldn't recognize my device, would cause freezing and stuttering of the mouse and reset my settings almost weekly. Can't wait to upgrade, maybe to yours 🤔🤔
randomfrankp-ness would have been a great a great April 1 rebranding video lol
Would it be possible to get the wallpaper you are using in this video? Looks incredible but I have had no luck finding it.
My 4090 review got a few thousand views and I felt good about it lol. I can only imagine how great it must feel to have Linus review a product you had a hand in, AND favorably at that! I will try to get your mouse and check it out as soon as I can afford it. It wont replace my daily driver (powerplay mousepad is just too awesome) but I would love to at least do a video on it myself.
Proud of you bro. one of my top five youtubers all time. you do a great job so keep going bro your excellence will get noticed. Under $50 tech, genius.

Not going to lie, I didn't even pick up on that pun in his video review.
Congratulations on the collab with a brand you love and trust. That's huge.
I love how your camera just focuses on your pc and the plant in the background rather than on your face :D
I’m glad this popped up in my homepage because I saw Linus’s review and I think you did a good job at taking in the criticism he had for your mouse. I’m for sure going to sub now and check out your channel!
I had to drop the boys n gals at LTT this vid after it popped up in my feed. You did well my dude!
