Riding in Ontario in the fall looks awesome. I've been living out of country for about 8 years, and got some serious nostalgia seeing you rip through the countryside. Thanks!
I have the 2021 model and bought it with the original Honda short screen just to improve the look of the exposed dash. It meets with the top of the headlight and finishes the front off really well. No noise from the front at all.
Really loved this video... Really calm and straight to the point about living with the bike. Ticked off all my questions and visually the video was good to watch, great editing and narration... a new subscriber!
I have the 2020 it's a good bike I put the oem windshield on was surprised what difference it made. Also fitted new exhaust ditched the heavyweight cat and fitted K&n airfilter and had a custom remap to get rid of the flat spot and love the Inline 4 as you wind it up sounds and breathes better now.
Great video and channel! Subscribed! ;) CB650R is a lovely bike and I am sharing exactly the same insights that you listed in the video. Aftermarket tailtidy is a must, besides that CB looks gorgeous. Cheers from Europe! Ride safe!
Hello there i think i can help you whit the wistleing noice just put a little pice of tape on the speedo where the sound comes from that did fix it for me
How is the LCD screen in bright sunlight in the summer ?, is it hard to read compared to the Kawasaki Z650 TFT screen? I really want to buy one of those bikes but i cant choose duo the screen. I have tested both bike’s a couple of times and they both don’t disappoint me when it comes to the engine’s, I am just unsure about the LCD screen on the Honda.
More than 80 hp is basically useless, you can only do quick bursts of acceleration and that’s about it! After that you are braking the law pretty much everywhere. This bike is no slouch anyway. 0 to 100 km/h in well under 4 seconds… keep it in the right RPM range and right gear and you are skilled enough and you will have no issues keeping up with anyone ….
Got a CB650R aswell, 10.000km on it now. Great bike overall, but i really want a custom map on, the fueling isn't as bad as on a lot of other bikes, but it's far from perfect. Also i want to do the blokc off valve mod to improve on/off throttle response.Custom exhaust and map is coming up.
@@lilnips Yeah i would, it handles well and is very predictable, the weight is alright, not exactly a light weight like an MT07, but still 205kg isnt that bad. The quality is pretty decent, deffo above what yamaha offers, but not as good as the older honda's. Im quite happy with mine.
@@MissMan666 hey thanks for The reply…. Ive been leaning towards the naked style of bikes and it seems to me the cb is a heavy one… I don’t know how the 200kgs under me would be like as I wallow through traffic… and I’m not the biggest guy anyway… 5’8 :(

You’re wind noise, did they change the bracket that holds the display to give it a different viewing angle with the update? I know Honda was getting complaints about visibility and how dark the screen was was, so I wonder if they adjusted the angle of the screen up, causing it to catch air. If this is the case, look at an older bracket to swap on.
If you look at the bracket it's mounted on, there's already some adjustment in there, so you can tilt it yourself if needed, but that won't change the height of the tilt axis if that's the problem.
Where did you find the piece so you could remove the passenger seat? Looking to get rid of the passenger seat on mine but hesitant because I can only find options on eBay so I’m worried about them fitting when they arrive months later.
Good review. I have the same bike (even the same colour) and I'm also an Ontario rider. I have never noticed this whistling noise you reference. Are you sure the problem isn't your helmet?
It will be my next bike but I do not expect to receive it before beginning of February, due to the current shortages of raw materials at world level. But in my country (Corsica), winters are sweet enough to enjoy riding a bike!
