    It's awesome how you simplify a more complicated editing philosphy. Thanks for this!

    I just had that chat with waifu, since we are shooting on Hero8 and Osmo Pocket, and been seeing issues. Greatly timed video for me. Your first second in the video I thought you had some sick tattoos - then I saw it was your shirt.

    Great video ! I have a focus-related question... at 6:15, how do you manage to get a perfectly focused image ? What focus mode are you using ? What are the aperture ? Thanks a lot (I'm struggling like crazy with focus) :)

      I'm going to be shooting a product video using a Canon t5i, Garmin Virb XE Action Camera, and a Canon Vixia HF R62 Camcorder. My video editing software is Magix Movie Edit Pro, this software doesn't have the capability of importing LUTs, but I can customize and save my color correction file. If that makes sense at all? With the cameras that I mentioned, do you think that I could match those cameras? Any any additional tips would be greatly appreciated!

    As far as matching the GoPro to the Mavic, and a Lumix, how do you approach setting FPS on the different cameras?

    Man talks about the same thing in circles for the first 4 minutes to pad the time for that sweet youtube $$$.

    Do you use the same gimbal for smartphone AND gopro? If so, what gimbal is that?

    Great information about the D- logue setting on the Mavic Pro not being the best for color matching, to use the art filter instead. Thanks for the tips.

    Hey man, I just started watching you recently because I just added a Spark to my setup and I really liked your videos on the Spark. I don't know much about you personally but I saw the Colorado hat. I live in Colorado and was just wondering if you live here or have visited here. Keep up the great videos :)

      +Chase Redfield Photography no we don’t live in Colorado but we like traveling there. We’d move there if we could (work keeps us in LA). We’ll be back out there soon.

    Hey Jeven, great stuff! I've a quick question. I'm just getting back into shooting and editing my own videos again. Of course I have a mix up of different cameras so this video was just what I needed. My question is, Do you know of any way to get the iPhone X to shoot in LOG? I'm on a short budget and would like to shoot flat on it as well. Thanks buddy. Keep up the good work.

    Are there any disadvantages of using Sony a6500 as A-Camera and Sony FDR-AX53 4k camcorder as B-Camera while shooting interviews? Will it be problematic to sync the colors/grading or any other issues afterward while editing? Thank you!

    • @JevenDovey
      @JevenDovey  6 років тому +1

      Honestly any 2 camera setup will have some issues with matching unless they’re identical cameras. However if your using 2 of the same brand camera then you’ll have less issues.

      Thank you, Jeven. How about A7iii as A-camera (with E 35mm lenses cropped to the FE sensor) and a6500 B-Camera with 10-18 mm E lense? I understand that ideally is to use two identical cameras with identical lenses, but will the colour chemistry work better between these two cameras?

    Question for anyone. I have a GoPro 6, Sony A6000 and a cheap Sony without a flat setting. They all have white balance setting I can shoot a white card or 18% gray against. They also have setting for white balance control. Can I set them all on white balance check or all to say 6000k to make things easier? SUggestions?
