Screaming of joy at the announcement of portal 2? Well now i'm 22. i have a colllege appartment. I'm studying law. My brother's died of his sickness. Well i'm in vacation, could very well play portal 1 again. Watch dragon ball again. See my brother at his tombstone. Listen to Still Alive with him. Sorry if i'm a bit personnal here, it just popped in my homepage and i had a flow of nostalgia and sadness, hope you'll understand everyone :')
I love this song. There's also other video game called "Mirror's Edge" that has a different song for the ending but has the same name as the title "Still Alive" both of them are wonderful and perfect each other. Not to mention that ME and Portal is also similiar each other. You have both asian girls as protagonist, many white surfaces in every place and liminal spaces that you're going through, and the electronic soundtracks as well.
@@Pokaroquai It's one of the Best Parkour games made By DICE studios, and was also published by EA, But the original game has a Great story, and great controls on parkour.. including glitches that you can use to speedrun or to do infinite wall jumps... But the Games AI enemies are a little unfair though... I've heard the Remake which is Mirror's Edge Catalyst, does a good upgrade on the AI enemies, I've Did heard that Lisa mokovsky did return to make a song for Catalyst, including Solar fields who also done the Original games Soundtrack...
This is the part that GlaDOS repeat for all that time that she spend being "dead" , this is why when she was activated she doesnt seem to be bother being dying all that time cuz you know..... she STILL ALIVE.

I never thought there was much of a theme to the portal games but listening to this song for the millionth time years after playing I think it’s clear the game is about persevering even against insurmountable odds. I don’t know if that’s a common take but that’s my takeaway. What a true Classic one of the greatest games of all time.
