Fruit Hot X Buns
In order
1.5 cups of warm water or milk
5Tbspn brown sugar
3 tsp of yeast
add the top three ingredients and let the yeast bloom until bubbly then add
1 egg
50gm soft butter into chunks
Add 4.5 cups of flour
5 Tbsp milk powder if using water
1 tsp salt
2 tsp of mixed spice
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup of sultanas or raisins
Mix with a mixer or by hand, when the dough forms around the dough hook, continue for another 1 minute.
Cover and leave to double in size for roughly 45 minutes to an hour
Once doubled in size, cut the dough into 16 equal sizes making sure they are roughly the same size.
Roll the dough balls into a bun shape and leave to double in size again, roughly 15-20 mins.
Pipe crosses on top
Pre-heat oven fan-bake 180c or bake 200c Bake for 12-15 mins
Brush sugar syrup once they come out of the oven
Paste for the crosses
add 1/4 c flour and add enough water to form a paste. It should be roughly paint thickness. Pipe onto buns once they have risen enough before going into the oven.
Sugar syrup
3 TBsp sugar
1/4 c boiling water
Chocolate Hot X Buns
Same recipe as above but omit the sultanas and add 2 Heaped Tbsp of cocoa powder and 1 cup of chocolate chips.

I do a needless.. kneadless spicy fruit loaf mix as my buns.. 50/50 saltanas & raisins, dried apricot, prunes & figs.. I only ever use soft brown sugar.. 5 spice & cinnamon, milk powder.. all in a warm bowl.. just 1 teaspoon of yeast but.. I leave to rise overnight to bake early morning.. a large square pizza stone.. the prunes & dates make for a real smooth mellow sweetness & I think give the yeast a good kick.. huge rise & very light.. cheers from Palmy.. doing a $50 challenge too 👌

Sorry abt my earlier comment, I found the recipe. Thank you for showing us a very simple method of preparing hot cross buns.
Thanks
Just tried your crumpet recipe today, we absolutely smashed them. My wife seriously asked if you had a hot cross bun recipe! Have you got our kitchen bugged?! 😆
hahahaha didn't you see me sitting in the corner?
This sounds. Crackup 😊
I'm here in Canada and sent this video to my friend. She wrote back "Lol, I just started watching her too! Love her style." You're a hit. Thanks for sharing your life and skills with us.
Wow, that is so mind-boggling to me. So many new faces here. I'm looking forward to doing a live to get to know you all a little more. Thanks so much for watching
@@FarmersWifeHomestead thank you for sharing your cooking skills with us. I laughed when you grabbed that spoon to position the oven door properly... just like a farmer's wife!
I’m enjoying these videos as well! 👋👋🇨🇦
Canadian here too!
In Canada there is a guy in Toronto called “glen and friends” on UA-cam. He has an amazing hot cross bun recipe. Best I’ve ever had.🇨🇦
Hell yeah choccie HCB's, you're an absolute wiz.... love your authenticity too 🇦🇺
Wow Stacey- thanks for de-mystifying Hot Cross Buns, I always assumed it would be super hard to make them! I will definitely try this! I absolutely love how you go through each step! Congrats on the growth of your channel - reaffirms that your posts are hitting the spot- please keep em coming!😊
Hope you enjoy it Thanks for watching and for your encouragement
What lovely gifts you received. This is such a great community. The buns look delicious.
Yes, it was! such a surprise. Thanks for watching and I hope you give them a go.
You’re world famous in Aotearoa now, Stacey! Love your channel. We try to do similar things with our food budget because we hate waste. One thing that no cookery blogs cover is the cost of power while cooking. We use Electric Kiwi as our supplier. They give us an hour of free power every day so we endeavour to cook for the day in that hour. Baking, hob cooking, the lot! It’s amazing what you can get done in an hour if you prepare ahead of time and batch bake. Off to try your hot X buns next!
I’ve often wondered about that. I’m Australian but I know tha South Africa has terrible power problems too.i have an old recipe book that teaches how to cook from the highest temperature down to the lowest in a day.
Another way to prove buns is in the fridge. I often make my buns or rolls in the evening, form them, cover them, and stick them in the fridge for up to a couple of days. Usually just overnight, but there is no change if leaving them longer. Bring them up to room temperature using any of your warm the dough methods, and bake as usual. This also has the benefit of a slow rise which makes a particularly tender crumb. Very convenient too for a busy lifestyle. Can freeze at that stage also.
Yes, Thank you for mentioning this as I completely forgot to. I often freeze my bread this way and I have a video on it as well. Thanks so much for leaving your suggestions here for others.
Hello sweets, another kiwi here 🫶🏼 from the small town of Marton (in between palmy north and Whanganui) I just wanted to say hi and thank you, because of you and your videos I am now going to be stocking up on home made cake mix (I never get box cakes cause I don’t like the taste so always baked from scratch, your way is so much easier and faster) buying in bulk and also onion prep and garlic pucks are just genius, from a disabled mum of 2 disabled girls with a disabled husband thank you.. thank you, thank you, thank you for making my life easier 🥰🥰 also I’m going to try and make these hot cross buns (both lots) for hubby and my in laws (I only eat the chocolate ones)😊 I hope you and your family had a wonderful Easter 🥰🥰 oh I forgot to say I got some of those bag stands they are amazing 🤩 ❤
Hello and thank you for your message. I am so pleased you are finding my videos such a help to you and your beautiful family. I hope I can continue to bring good ideas to you and help out even more. I travel down your way often to visit family.
Take care and hope to hear from you again soon.
Thanks for showing how to actually form and shape the individual buns... First time I've seen this being done. I learned a lot from this episode 😊
Glad it was helpful!
I made the chocolate ones exactly as the recipe says. They were wonderful. Grandkids gobbled them up.
Thanks Stacy- you are improving the quality frugal food in my whare 🙂
I can’t wait to try these. Would your spice blend be known as Allspice here in the states?
Never mind! I just googled it and mixed spice is equivalent to our pumpkin pie spice although, I did find a recipe for a mixed spice blend😊
Good to know! I was thinking it might be like our allspice too, but that would be awfully strong for these, pumpkin pie spice makes a lot more sense. Going to Google that spice recipe now, thanks for the tip!
Yummo! So much nicer than store bought. Is there anything more disappointing than a prepackaged hot cross bun? Especially when you arrive home to find them all squished and miss-shapen from being jammed up against the tins in your shopping bag 😭 I think they’re still too warm when they get put into the plastic bags. I am definitely going to try your recipe 💕
Yes, that would definitely be annoying! Please let me know how you go.
I'm a South African living in USA watching you in New Zealand. How awesome to come across your video. So looking forward to making these. My twin sister goes on a hunt for these weeks before Easter. Now we can make them. Thank you for sharing. New to watching you and just love your videos.
I'm an Aussie living in Iceland and made my first ever Hot Cross Buns thanks to your video. Nom nom nom. If I could work out how to attach a photo I would.
Hello, I'm so pleased you enjoyed the recipe. You could send it to my email if you like. I love to see everyone's creations :-0
Hi there, just wanted to say how much I enjoy watching your videos! You’re so down to earth. And don’t worry about how you explain things. I can understand what you’re explaining perfectly! Can’t wait to try out these hot cross buns for Easter this year! Nom…nom… nom…😋🤤😋🤤
Thanks so much, I hope you enjoy them
I’ve seen them 4 x triple choc buns for $12 🤪. Definitely making my own ❤️❤️❤️ thank you for sharing. NW Vic, Australia
Wow! That’s daylight robbery! Definitely give making them a go. 😬👩🍳
I tried these this afternoon, they turned out fantastic! I had been wanting to try baking hot x buns again, the last recipe I attempted was very complicated and they turned out doughy. These were so fast to make - I decided to make them at 3pm and they were cooling on a rack at 5:30pm! So easy! I did the chocolate, made 15 buns like you did, they are a great size and the texture is light and fluffy like store bought. I don't have a fancy mixer but I did use the dough hooks on my electric mixer and kneaded that way for a few minutes. I will be making more for Easter, thank you!
That's amazing I'm so pleased you loved the recipe.
Looks so so good and easy! I must try it this year. I did try making hot cross buns from another recipe before but it didn't turn out well. I will surely let you know the results as soon as i do so, perhaps before Easter Sunday. Thwnks for sharing 😊
Thanks for this recipe. Now I can surprise my family here in Melbourne
Please let me know how you go
Made the crumpets today. Oh my goodness! No more store-bought for us.
Now to try the buns. Kia ora!
can you do your recipe in grams, you have cups, in the uK we dont do cups, grams or ounzes, i have measure cups, but they not the same size
Yes, I can, I will write up the recipes today and link them in the description. Sorry, I didn't even think about grams.
Wow! This is such a great channel. I cant believe ive only found this now. They look delicious. Subbed 😊
thanks so much
Hi Stace, I decided to buy 1/2dozen (6) hotcross buns from the bakery that won New Zealand's best hotx bun for 2024...from Daily Bread Bakery. Guess what they charge for a single bun... $3.60 or $22 for 6...yikes They were OK, much nicer than from Woolies, Pak n Save supermarkets but more like how they used to taste from regular local bakery shops back in the day.
WOW, do give these a try as the are so easy to make and for less than $2.
daylight robbery prices!!
@@carrier411 yes absolutely. Definitely not worth the price at all
Oh yes that is the other one that I forgot was like baby and menopause brain it is covid brain! I'm seven months post covid and still suffer the memory lapses. Half way through a sentence my jaw goes slack, I start searching the sky for the words I lost and just give up! How you're supposed to have normal conversations I don't know. I found out my neighbour has the same affliction. Fingers crossed for us that it disappears soon.
The struggle is real and when I'm filming its so much worse haha, I hope you feel better quickly as well X
Hello, I'm in France and they don't do hot cross buns... miss them
But I must say yours look absolutely stunning, when you took a bite i was so jealous 🤣 mouth watering
I could eat the lot 😁
thank you for sharing this great recipe💖
So excited to try these!! I found your channel a few days ago and have binged nearly all of them 😅 my list of things to try just keeps getting longer and longer 😂
wow, thank you so much for the support.
Kia ora. I watched this video and then made the chocolate buns straight away. They were delicious. I will make the original ones over the weekend. I also recycle my baking paper. thanks for posting
I'm so pleased they worked out well for you.
They were great thanks. I read you article on your web site about canning. I've had two All American pressure cookers for 30 years. They've been busy just this past week preserving tomato soup. I've done 20 jars of soup so far as well as other relishes etc. I'm sure my children's grandchildren will be able to use these pressure cookers 🤣🤣@@FarmersWifeHomestead
Thanks Stacy. O will definitely be trying then as Easter nears. Love you channel. So glad I stumbled onto it.
thanks so much
Bless your hands, these look amazing, hi from Ireland
I just found your channel and loving your no nonsense style of cooking... The way you measure ingredients is so much like me! You seem to eyeball things and work quickly, marks of an experienced cook. BTW you can save a bit of money by using plain sugar and adding 1 heaping tsp per cup of molasses instead of brown sugar. I don't buy brown sugar anymore, it's silly how much they charge and it goes hard and lumpy so fast. Anyway, great channel, I'm glad I found it!
Thanks for watching, I've made my own brown sugar for years and have a video on it and two other sugars from plain sugar :-) Thanks so much for your lovely words of encouragement.
Hi Stacey, just made your hot cross buns and they are amazing! Thankyou so much for sharing your recipe 😁👍🤩🥳
Thank you so much for this recipe! I halved it as we have a tiny oven in an off grid tiny home (to half the egg I just beat it and tipped about half of it in the mix).
This recipe is insanely good! The half mix made 8, and they were devoured by the family who proclaimed that they were the “best they’ve ever eaten!” ❤
We have to make up another couple of batches for the weekend 😂
Thank you I am so pleased you all enjoyed them.
Just watched your channel for the first time. I loved how you made the hot cross buns - I could almost taste them. Thank you from the UK. 😊
'Elbow grease'.... I'm not sure you can get that in America, but I know there's a few speciality shops in Britain. Love your channel. Regards from Adelaide in sunny South Australia.
❤hahaha. 🇬🇧
Hello from the UK. I will be trying these sometime soon, hopefully, especially the chocolate version! I have made fruit ones before but was a bread machine recipe and quite some time ago, I believe they were good though.
I only found your channel about a week or two ago and love the video's, have saved quite a few for future reference 😀
I did try your crumpet recipe last week but as I don't have any rings or empty tuna cans I just made them freeform and they were more like pikelets but still delicious and all got eaten! 🙂
Thank you for your video's and I'd love to live on a homestead or mini farm of sorts but currently live in a city with no garden even and don't know anyone who lives like this at all, nor do I really have a clue where I'd start anyway at 50+ !! However, I can dream! 😂
YUM! I'm so going to make these, I find the supermarket ones really bland so I'll make these extra spicy!
Yes, great idea! Thanks for watching
Just don't add too much spice it may impede the rising of the yeast ❤
@@amandafriel1865 Good to know, thank you! :)
Fantastic! Subscribing.
Thank you
just wondering, can you guys the mixed spice easy over there, to be honest its not to big here unless its supermarket, the mixed spice here at local stores tends to be the savoury
oh yeah, go my batter proving for crumpets lol as promised, wife day off, she having lie in, will do her breakfast,
I found a conversion chart on Temu which is fantastic. It was around AU$2
I will re-write the recipe today to include what mixed spice is etc. I will link it in the description
add cinnamon, cloves (ground), a pinch of ginger, a bit of nutmeg, - as a quick substitute to mixed spice. Def need cloves.
Another awesome vid the buns look amazing I have made them for my family growing up .. I’m a member of a Facebook group cheaper living NZ someone posted one of your latest vids up there yesterday so I’m sure you will get many more well deserved subscribers and what a sweet lady Wendy is sending you those great gifts ❤️🙏🙏🇳🇿
That is awesome! I belong to the same group as well. Wendy was certainly so lovely.
SUCCESS ......Stacy l made another batch and they are beautiful. I had to borrow my sisters mixer as l could not find my dough mixers and hers didnt mix down to the bottom of the bowl, however l found mine and they turned out great. Thank you so much. CRUMPETS NEXT
I'm going to try these. Thank you for going into such detail. They are going to beat the New World ones hand's down.
Stacy, I am a new subscriber and I just love your down to earth manner. Putting the spoon to help the oven door is just so down to earth approach and I love it. Your hot cross buns looks delicious and amazing. I must give these a try. Never heard of chocolate hot cross buns before, now I have. Thank you for sharing. Will let you know how mine works out. Just got to source milk powder. Have a lovely day.
Hello from Wellington NZ, a new subscriber to your channel here and loving your videos... 💖💗💓
Can you make them and shape them, then put in the fridge overnight, after they have risen, and the cross is added, to bake the next day?
I would shape them and not rise until you take them out of the fridge, then rise in the morning.
If your oven has an internal light leaving the bowl inside the oven with the light on provides heat to help rising
I love hotcross buns but I have never made them. Yours look so easy and delicious I am going to attempt to make them for Easter, I am from Canada.
Thankyou.
I found your channel yesterday MARCH 18 and I watched your pizza dough recipe making.i decided im gonna try this recipe as I have made millions (it seems) recipes for pizza dough and just didn’t care for any of them. I couldn’t get over how nice the dough came out in my KITCHEN AID STAND MIXER . IT WAS SO,PLIABLE AND SMOOTH . It rolled out perfectly, so Thankyou Stacey for that recipe. ALBERTA,Canada.
I'm so happy you enjoyed making the pizza recipe, that fills my heart with so much joy!
Covid brain is a real side effect of having Covid.I am making both of these this week.My husband says we operate in the kitchen in the same way.
That's great, I hope they worked out well for you.
Hello from a fellow kiwi. I just found your channel and have been binge watching you. I love your content, going to be making these hot cross buns this weekend. Oh and I have the same oven as you and hate the sound of the door too. Great idea about the spoon in the door because mine doesn't close all the way either
hahaha oh, NO I'm sorry you have the same issue! We got it second hand and now I know why lol Thanks so much for watching.
@@FarmersWifeHomestead I'm sitting here cracking up laughing because every time your timer goes off on your oven I think it's my one, even though there is nothing in it 😂😂😂
Thanks for another great recipe I live in Kentucky USA. My bucket list is to visit your country. I hope I could do that sometime soon.
Easter is coming up; I've just started baking successfully this past year and I am looking forward to making this recipe! 🎉😊😊😊
It’s absolutely fantastic. Just do a little research on rolling and tensioning the buns. If you have made bread to will know. I had made bread for years but this dough was completely new to me. Turns out you shape the same way. Tension over the top and pinched in underneath
Let me know how you go :-)
Thank you so much for your recipes. My hubby is hooked on crumpets and he loves hot Cross Buns. I have heard many UA-camrs complain about the haters. We are people, none of us perfect. Hollywood types pay oodles of $$ to fix their imperfections and end up looking fake. It would be a sad world if we all looked alike!! Keep your chin up and live your best life!! Luv your videos and spirit!!
Oh my word they look fabulous. I want to give your recipe a try. I will let you know if I do! They look so delicious. I have only made hot cross buns once when I was in standard 1 lol lol, I'm 56 now, I am surprised I can still remember. Every year I say I am going to make hot cross buns but don't. Yours will be the only channel I checkout to see how it is done because I love your recipe and how easy peasy it looked.
Re - the bottled plums, um, I found out why my nana and mum only made jam with Maribelle plums, they turned to mush in seconds with the heat. You live and you learn
Nothing beats homemade, Happy Easter to youand your family😂
Hi Stacey! I'm watching from Atlantis, Cape Town. You make it look so easy. Thank you for sharing your recipe. I'm definitely going to try it. God bless
I hope to try your recipe, enjoyed learning your way! Mahalo from Maui 🌈🌺
Hi Stacey new subscriber here...many, many thanks... have binged your videos over the weekend....after it came up as a recommended choice...can't wait to try out your recipes!
Am also just started following following Dave, UK Baker...at Baking on a Budget.
You both do no nonsense cooking but looks sooo tasty!
Plus there's NO infuriating repetitive background music 🎶!
Both my mum and older sister loved to bake. My oldest son and granddaughter love to bake. Me, I can't bake to save my life. I find it very stressful. I'm 75, and I'm still trying to make bread, but it still comes out like a brick 😂😂
👋from 🇨🇦
New subscriber here. Loving your videos, keep up your great work 👍 ❤
Thanks so much
Hi Stacey👋🏻👋🏻,
I made both these buns and they were AMAZING!!
The only problem I had was I think I added too much cocoa in the chocolate buns. Unlike the plain fruit ones, the chocolate ones were not as light/fluffy when cooked.
I will be trying a variation next time, apple and cinnamon which is a family favourite! I am sure with your recipe and these new ingredients will ensure no-one in my family will be buying hot cross buns in the future!🥳🌸🥳🌸
Thanks so much for sharing. Love your videos (and your lovely old kenwood)👍😁
I’m your next door neighbour in AUS. Just watched your video and can’t wait to try your recipe. Thank you for your no-fuss style of baking. Will definitely watch your other videos. Will be looking out for your crumpet recipe. 👍
My young niece and I made these yesterday (Easter Sunday) for the extended family. Easy as, and very yummy! I'm going to add more spices next time just as a personal preference, but the traditional, fruit-free, chocolate and even a batch made with GF flour were very much appreciated by all. (The GF ones weren't as fluffy, as per usual, but still worked quite well.) Thank you for a great recipe!
Im in the Pacific Northwest of the US. For Easter, in cooler parts of the west it seems most people have an indoor meal with ham sweet potatoes and the like. In the warmer southern states its often an outdoor affair. Im not positive what they tend to eat. I believe its more like picnic food. Both are amazing and should be tried at least once in your life❤ thanks for sharing darlin ❤❤
hey hey Farmers Wife :)
what about your TNeuralgia? As i have Occipital Neuralgia i know months fly like flies without significant breakthru, but who know :P Maybe you fint some exercise or something like that :P
Thank you for a wonderful recipe. The results were amazing.
I'll be making a slight adjustment to the spices but thats minor.
Stacey I made a batch of each. Beautiful. Very tasty. My family said no more buying store bought, you have to make them every Easter now. First time I have used yeast as well. I've been too scared to. Thank you and a Happy Easter to you and your family.
New subscribers wifey and I, a definite recipe for Easter, keep up the great honest content 😂👍👌
I made crumpets using the recipe you shared… OMG I will never buy them again!! Nga mihi ❤️
I love how you store or your herbs in large jars, i do the same. I go through that much of all my herbs and spices because i make almost everything from scratch.
Plus, they are soooo much cheaper.
Yip i do the same love cumin so im always refilling it😂
Not only is it cheaper but is better for your health and tastes better too! Long may you keep doing that! ✌️
for me I would leave the crosses off as I can't stand the taste of them & peel them off before eating my bun!! They have finally introduced gluten free buns so I have ordered a pack of four for Easter. They were on special for $4 Australian which is why I bought a pack otherwise they are to expensive for what you get.
Just a thought ... your milk powder is not instant but the whole milk powder that usually has to be made ahead of time if going to make milk from that kind of powder .. been using instant milk powder whole life even if having grown up with milk cows... this last year is my first experience with your kind of milk powder...
Newbie subscriber here in Queensland Australia been trying to make hot cross buns every yr but fail I follow the recipe as always. Has to be gluten free baking. Any suggestions please would be nice Thankyou
I actually love the way you can't recall some words. I have that problem too.. much worse since Covid.
We just followed your recipe and we are eating the buns as I type this. They turned out amazing! Thank you :)
Good morning Stacey. Well I made 2 batches of hot x buns yesterday, 1 choc & 1 sultana, first time ever. They looked & smelt amazing. However they were not as fluffy as yours looked, a bit dense. Could be too that I bake in a benchtop oven at the moment & instead of 2 batches per bake I squashed them onto one one tray. Yup, the whole 16 buns. My crosses were a bit sloppy too, so maybe I'll add a bit more flour or less water? I toasted a fruit one for morning tea this morning with lashings of butter. Delicious! Keep inspiring us 😊
Thanks for messaging me, it could be a couple of reasons. The dough might have been a little too dense. If too much flour is added that can be one reason. Make sure it is still tacky for the first rise. You can always add more before shaping them. Also, there could be not enough rise time during the first or second rise. I hope that helps. You did amazingly well, like I said practice makes perfect.
It's such a joy to watch you. I will absolutely make these. Thank you!
Its a shame I love watching these types of videos but the oven i have at my flat is so atrocious it'll both burn the bottom of something whilst leaving the middle raw when cooking something in the oven, so the chances of success are slim. Really lovely hot cross buns tho!
Sucks to hear about the covid, covid definitely can leave people with brain fog for a bit (and there is long covid, which is sucky all round with some of the effects i've heard about)
They have orange liquid, orange zest, spices Sultanas, currants and raisins. The choc one has white n dark choc and spices. That is y they r expensive.
They look awesome. They'd be nice to make for Easter. Thank you for sharing.
England…hot cross buns, Simnel cake,
I must try these esp the choc ones my hubby will love them, easter whatever hubby catches when were fishing yabbies yellowbelly and occasionally cod
Love your hot cross buns recipe. Got to try them! Thankyou again.
Love watching your videos.
In France I can’t get these unless paying through the nose from an importer, so huge thanks. The tips on how to warm the bowl and mixture are a big help too, we don’t have the heating on much.
Just the other day, I was thinking about finding a brioche recipe to make my Hot Cross buns. I made both of them this morning and they are lovely! Thank you so much 🥰
Wonderful! They are proving to be a hit, I'm glad you like them
@@FarmersWifeHomestead, I’ve shared this too, so I hope someone else will try making them!
They look so beautiful.
I'm deffo trying this! we have roast lamb or chicken for easter, and the usual chocolate eggs, hot cross buns, Simnel cake and then I diet for a month 😂😂
YUMMY
Mmm, these look sooooo delicious. im definitely going to try this one day soon. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Omg! Getting out of my chair RIGHT NOW! to make the choc chip ones! I am new to the channel and LOVE IT!
Have fun making them :-)
Love your channel ❤USA, California
Only found your channel a few days ago and love it
39:24 I wonder if you didn't have metal if you could add a layer of tinfoil or a layer of tin foil with baking paper on top. ???
I'm in Hawkes Bay and have the same stove....wonky door and all.
Best hot cross buns I have ever made much better than bought ones. Friends thought so too . Thankyou
Thank you so much you are a good Teacher ❤🎉
Thank you
This looks easy and yummy, I don't have a stand mixer and can't do a lot with my arm at moment so am going to try doing dough in breadmaker
Thank you. Loved your video. I bake my hot cross buns in a Corning Ware ceramic baking dish and I’m very happy with how they bake in it
Great to know :-)
I will have to give these ago as my daughter ❤s chocolate hot cross buns. Also I wanted to say I'm so happy to see your channel growing so fast - I bet you'll have 10K subs by next week 😊
Gosh, that would be amazing, I feel like I'm in a dream. I think she is going to love these chocolate ones. She might help you?
Woohoo you smashed past the 10K - I joined when you around 1.5K and recommended your channel to Australia groups because it's always great to see what our close neighbours are doing. Also my daughter is eager to learn cooking now she's a teenager and wants more variety in her choices for school plus I refuse to buy heavily processed snacks (poison) unless we are on holiday 😂
I made these hot cross buns for today. Best hot cross buns recipe I've found. For my personal taste, I will be increasing the spices next time. I did 12, and they are huge.
I'll be turning 2 of them into chocolate hot cross bread and butter pudding for desert on Sunday.
Thank you for this recipe❤❤❤❤
Glad you like them!
