Let me attack you with a blunt weapon, I bet I can inflict the "bleeding" condition 😂😂😂. Only joking of course, I don't wish to actually attack you with a blunt weapon 😊
@@Lovablejames I actually made it in my latest coop run and trolled my friends really hard by RPing an elf-hating dwarf alcoholic, Shir Elfbiter, and attack any elf if they talk with me too much. also punch drunk bastard's effect led to many NPC triggering to attack us so its very fun :^)
@@Lovablejames well i mean i mained dwarfs in WHFB for years, elf-hating is in my blood. And in my grudges. But it was fun how party sometimes didn't let me go to hub cuz i i might accidently talk with quest npc who might be an elf... Because of me we caused so much bloodshed on the elfkin tho, im happy, grudge fullfilled.
Really fun build and great video! The version with three levels in rogue is great It means you have lots of free bonus actions so you can still drink every two turns and use a different amulet (i like broodmothers revenge, because you can proc with healing potions with your bonus actions) You also get a lot of bonus action free attacks with great weapon master when you kill or crit
Doing the Booal interaction successfully in the underdark will grant *your whole party* advantage against bleeding targets. Great to have if you are spreading bleeding effects across the battlefield
@@UltravioletArts You can forego the downside to that interaction if you just steal the chief fish guys weapon from him. When you'd be rewarded with that weapon, it instead gives your whole party the buff.
If you are taking ASI to increase strength you 18 and cons to 16 you might as well just go 16str and 16con from the start and +2 strength, you lose no damage and have more health, and you end up with the same stats. If you are building this as your tav and plan on using the hags hair, you can drop wisdom to 10 and go 17str and 16 cons from the start, hags hair to 18str and ASI to get 20str at level 4.
The Nyrulna trident would be good as a throwing weapon with this build. There's also a spear or trident dropped by the fish creature boss in act 2, close to the house of healing/mausoleum that interacts with the lightning damage theme.
There are two parts to GWM: the 1st let's you make another attack with a Bonus Action whenever you make a critical hit or kill. This is always on. The 2nd is a toggle, that when toggled on gives us a -5 Tohit penalty in exchange for doing a flat extra +10 dmg if we hit. Are you finding all of that to be on even when toggled off?
@@tic_tacticalgaming all of it no I just didn’t realize the grit and kill bonus attack worked even when it was toggled off honestly one of the main reasons I don’t use it much
Why not wear the drunken cloth? You should also be dropping deductible items when you tiger cleave a one or two enemies so that the punch drunk bastard can cause more aoe thunder shockwaves from hitting extra targets.
Drunken cloth is sadly a little bad, the build doesn't need advantage on Con saves and bonepike also gives temp hp. Good point with the destructible objects though, I kind of avoid just dropping items cause it feels kind of cheesy so I didn't think of it!
OK, few things. you get advantage potential from reckless attack (This should only ever be used as a reaction) and you can get thunder damage on any weapon from Drakethroat glaive, so with this in mind Punch drunk bastard becomes immeasurably sub optimal for that your trying to active, from a non thematic point of view. Your already invested into Tiger wild heart so why not use the sword of chaos/ Periapt of wound closure, for something close to immortality? to optimize is even further into a solo build, the last 6 levels could be something along the lines of 2 pal, 4 sorc (Frost), for social skills, smite (useable while raging and can proc on EACH hit of a single tigers blood lust), precombat buffs ( armor of agathys) and two lvl 3 spell slots (and if you have the time and patients infinite lvl 3 spell slots).
Well the simple answer is "fun" lol. This build isn't trying to deal the most damage, or be unkillable, or be the best at stacking reverb. It is trying to take a cool thematic weapon and make a viable build around it. Although I do think it stacks reverb better than basically any alternative since all the thunder explosions will do their own instances of reverb stacks. No doubt that is probably a stronger build but I'm not really trying to power-game
@UltravioletArts yeah, I only think the way I do as I only play solo honor these days, every run stays fresh. But good video regardless, got me noodle going!
Inflicting bleeding with a blunt weapon is exactly the sort of thing a drunken barbarian would think of and somehow be able to pull off

This is actually very fun, prolly gonna play it as a dwarf for theme tho.
Doing that right now actually! its hella fun

Yeah I probably should have mentioned it, definitely a buff worth taking if you want to make certain choices in game haha

Great video ! This barbarian build looks really good AND fun ! :D I really like your builds video, hope to see more coming !
Thanks I appreciate the kind words! Definitely more to come!
I am stoked to try this out!
Aye, this build deserves a drink mate!

Yeah for sure, Nyrulna slots right into this build if you don't want to do the drunk part of it
Praise the BOAAAAAAL buff for advantage on bleeding!
The only thing this video missed is where do I get all this damn gear 😭
With the mods now you can just use the cheaters ring to spawn it all in from the chests
no booals benediction=?
Also idk how many people are as dumb as I am but the great weapon master bonus attack works even when it’s not turned on
I have not found this to be the case, is it bugged on a specific class or weapon maybe?
@@UltravioletArts honestly not sure I did it pretty early on with karlach
