fey warlock is one of the rare situations where sleep scales with your warlock spell level and can still keep its relevance later into the game compared to regular spell slots
If you don't want to use the Infernal Rapier, there's a little trick: while you can only bind your main-hand weapon as your pact weapon, nothing prevents you from switching it to your off-hand once it's bound. So you can just equip whatever in your main hand and your preferred pact-bound weapon in your offhand, and you'll have your action for spellcasting and still be able to use your bonus actions to attack with your bound weapon and benefit from your Cha bonus. This also helps the build come online a bit earlier, since you can theoretically get to casting a spell and making an effective melee attack on your turn ad early as level 4 if you go warlock 3/fighter 1 straight away.
For early game warlock AC: you can get the cat's grace robes and the gloves of defense by level 4 or so which is good for 19 AC using mage armor with no shield or fighting style bonus or anything
My favorite build right now is 5 paladin, 2 barbarian, and 5 warlock. I get 3 attacks per turn (not on honor mode), all of which have advantage and can be boosted by smite. The 2 levels of barb aren't necessary, but i go great weapon master and dont really use hit chance increasing gear, so the 2 level dip for reckless attack is something i like.
I'm doing this for my durge playthrough and having a ton of fun. Went with Tiefling for the race, the Darkness and Hellish Rebuke you get at levels 3 and 5 are nice but I mostly just wanted to make a tiefling character.
Such a fun build! This is really close to the one that I ran on my very first play through and it was so busted even without the Bhaalist Armor so now I need to do another run to try that out! People sleep on the Harmonic Dueller…it’s great.
I’ve been playing with this level split and enjoying it a lot the past couple days. I’m going for a dueling variant, and just hit level 7. Planning to use the duelist prerogative once I hit act 3. I rushed extra attack, but I think if anyone wants to go this route def take the fighter level sooner for shields in act 1/2. Without the bonus action attacks the build is a lot more reliant on EB. I was able to take alert instead of duel-wielder which is nice. Outside of combat the build functions the same, and that aspect as well as the flavor I’ve been loving. Playing as a loth-sworn drow, charlatan background.
If anyone was curious about gear, this is my earlish act 2 set up: Helmet of Arcane Acuity, Spiderslik Armor, Disintegrating Night Walkers, Gloves of Dexterity, Crushers Ring, caustic band, knife of the under mountain king, Absolutes Warboard.
I went with rogue/3 (for fast hands), ranger/3 (gloomstalker for opening attack, and some spell slots) and then warlock/6. Focus on dexterity and take sharpshooter, archery fighting style, and use dual crossbows. You don't need charisma as a lot of rogue-aiding warlock spells and abilities don't require saves or attack rolls -- darkness, devil's sight, one with shadows, etc. You can go ranger/2 and warlock/7 if you want. Ranger/2 is actually better than fighter/1 as not only do you get the fighting style, but you gain spells and slots which you can use to free up your warlocks slots. Power hex using your ranger slots so you can have it going but still have high level slots for darkness, counterspell, or improved invisibility.
I really like my dual weild builx of 5 lvl gloomstalkef 4lvlv assassin 2 lvlv fighter and 1 lvl war cleric for bonus action attacks . I' don't really use to many Spells but the ranger spells and cleric spells you do get are awsome for this build . And you can use so many different items to do what you want to . Plus with a high dex and wisdome and the cloak of displacement you are dam neer untouchable . I pick two weapon fighting , and archery for the two combat styles and for feats I get +2 to dex plus hags hair to get to 20 and I get dualweild . So it's great as Melee anx bows. Spells are just for utility .
I love warlocks so much. They can do so many things in this game. But can you please make some more guides on other classes? Your guides are some of my favorites and I would really like it for other things :3
Mister you need to do a Paladin build please!! help me!!! 😭😭 I just found your channel a few days ago but i already watched all your builds and i'm already using 2 of them!!!! Your build guides are my FAVORITE by a long shot in comparison to the other youtubers i watched (i just now did a respec on another youtuber build and using yours because its just way more fun and better!!!). the way you explain things and showcase them is amazing !!!!!
You don't! Thats for the infernal robe 🙂 the rapier is a reward for a specific and easily missed interaction between Wyll and a key NPC in his storyline at the end of Act 2 before jumping down a hole at the top of a tower after the first phase of a boss fight (not having him in your party upon entering the area down the hole locks you out of it) - wanted to keep it story spoiler free.
I did this build yesterday for my first run. It took many hours to know what i want. Two weapons gives a more definite characteristic. For me this is more exciting then bard builds. However, i decided not to play bg3 as the game seemed you can do everything but nothing really matters. i will be waiting for definite edition and overhaul mods. 16 hours developing builds, 1 hour gameplay. I had more fun looking for builds
Raid Shadow Legends is bad enough, please don't insult everyone's intelligence by going "okay, hear me out" over it. Just read whatever bit they sent you to read and move on.
You gotta understand he probably needs the bag, and an ongoing relationship with a sponser by fostering good will goes a long way. We as viewers can just as easily move on from it. 60-90 seconds ain't that big of a deal, support all creators at all levels of subscribers/viewership getting money. Need of money or not, we could all go for more especially in these times. It ain't gotta be as serious as you make it seem.

Definitely true, warlock spell slots are just so good

Absolutely true! I meant to mention that and I'm surprised I didn't haha
I assume this would work great for Wyll?! Sorry if I missed you saying it.
I am in the middle of act 2 and so far this build is the one I had the most fun with!

Definitely a solid option

Well done. Great build and pacing with the explanation.

Nice! Yeah it's a great weapon, love of charisma weapon builds

I tried putting this class on at level 7, right when I got to the camp in act 2.
...Holy crap, Marcus was dead on the first turn.
Was thinking about a Corazon build and immediately run into this. Good job reading mind UA-cam

Like the build, it has a similar vibe to the Swords Bard (1 Wizard splash) that I’m currently playing.
For sure, pact of the blade warlock plays very similarly to swords/valour bards

I'm definitely guilty of them being my favourite class haha, but the next couple I have planned aren't warlock builds!
Another amazing build! You're quickly becoming one of my favorite BG3 content creators. Looking forward to what you come up with next!
Thank you! I appreciate the support, definitely more to come!
@@UltravioletArts I second that comment. Really cool build ideas, well presented.
Level 10 before duel wield is a long time to wait but decent looking build 😊

Would you ever do a wanda maximoff/scarlet witch themed build? Ive been looking for one for ages
Do I have another option to use instead the Bhaalist Armor, im doing a redeemed durge and i dont wanna sacrifice dumbo😢
A wisdom gish ranger or monk with cleric or Druid would be cool 😊
I have actually wanted to mess around with a shillelagh Ranger build so maybe I'll put one together soon!
Flame blade perhaps?
Any specific changes to make if you wanted to go GOOlock and build a little more for crits?
I love how Infernal Rapier looks but I hate that you have to kill Karlach for it ;_;

@@vooligan9499 I just saw this and did not know that was the case!
Hi do You have other set of weapons? as due to Darka urge inferno rapier is unavaialable. Wyll is dead
Would it be reasonable to skip the rogue lvls and just go 1 fighter and the rest Warlock, or is it just a waste?
So you are the dual wield of frontiers 😂
lol basically, this is a solid Wyll build, but I have another build in mind for him for a future video

You can literally skip it. You’re insulting your own intelligence by not doing that instead.
the content creator really benefits for the sponsor, I don't like ads neither but man just skip it don't be silly
He literally has chapters 🤡
Yo every tuber needs some kind of payment.
Chill out. It's skippable.
