GBG It would be a lovely surprise if we got an additional skill tree w/ mechanics just for the Bare-handed combat in the New Game+ update. I know that they split fist combat within the shields but nothing beats the fist 👊
I had the same thought. They are taking quite a long time to release ng + so I'm hoping we're going to get a pretty big update and not just some new armors. Adding back in some of the old bare handed combat would be awesome. Or as you said a skill tree would be incredible. Answer our prayers All Father Kratos 🙏

most of the barehanded moves were turned into the shield parries and the perch climb stonewall and onslaught are the only shields that arent the old barehanded moves but instead both hits of the charge runic attacks
I wish they add barehanded pause attacks and a real agile strike in ragnarok in the new game plus update this agile strike is not fun to use like in 2018 to slow and not so useful also its only available with the that specific shield

Hello CBG, as a PS4 player I have a little problem with the switch from axe to bare hands. The bare hand on PS4 is only available on the tertiary weapon, which also is the spear. So, I cannot switch from axe to bare hand directly and need to go through the spear. Do you know how could I modify that so it doesn't happen?
There should be an option in the settings, which makes pushing the weapon button again switch to bare-handed. So D-right while axe equipt switch to bare-handed.

As someone who thought the same, I kinda disagree with my past self. This new barehanded combat forces you to be creative to get good unlike the 2018 one and honestly after I got the hang of it after a couple of hours of practicing and getting good with the axe cancels I can never go back to the old one.
Ragnarok bare handed is cool but honestly 2018 is better and tbh it’s not even close and I’m not sayin the because of agile strike you can do so much in ‘18 well idk jus my opinion
That’s not even an opinion bro, they stripped away the skills you had and everyone is trying to D-ride Santa Monica for it. They made a fantastic game but I hate when people overlook flaws just because most of its good, because then we don’t get the issue solved
