I didnt go for stun instead i used the sword that drains your health for a powerfull swing. This will be helpful, mam. Thank you. I've been going back and fourth between the Midgard and Mushpelhiem for Gna and the berserker king, mostly him, for like a month. Didn't know about the trolls. Gotta get that armor and still have something cool to do! Sweet.
I am happy to report you were spot on with this build, the armor, weapons, amulet sets etc. Having since acquired, upgraded and battled against some tough enemies including heavily armored mercenaries and all Einherjars in The Last Remnants of Asgard quest I noticed a significant improvement. I was not only able to do massive damage but also massive defense whereby I was hardly losing health and if I did it was being quickly regenerated. I was basically finishing battles with full health. Simply amazing. I'm so glad I found this recommended build when I did and focussed on acquiring the pieces accordingly. It helped remove the guesswork and also save resources for the ones I needed in a timely manner. Cheers.

Berserkers Cuirass, Vidars wasit and bracers, Hilt of Hofud, runic storm and emblem of nine realms enchantments. Do a runic attack with each weapon, use hilt of Hofud, melt any boss
@JMac92430 I made this build that you suggest with 300+ in runic stats but after the combo of 3 different runic attacks, starting the bifrost barrier, I take only one bar of Berserker king, in normal difficult. How can I "melt" the bosses?
@@andretiton Use the Hilt of Hofud right after you activate the bifrost storm (I recommend you use 3 quick runic attacks btw, using the blade runic last). Make sure you have Emblem of nine realms enchantment, Vanaheim and Asgard enchantment sets as well. Once in realm shift, use flame whiplash slam. It takes a ton of health, or you could hold R1 with the blades while in real shift and that does great damage too

Finally got the full armor set on. I had the Steinbjorn chest piece already but needed to get Surtr's armor to complete for wrist and waist. Just finished doing the Crucible trials for those, got them and prompty equipped. Steinbjorn chest and Surtr's waist fully upgraded to 9 but Surtr's wrist just managed to get to level 8 because I need 3 more Tempered Remnants to fully upgrade that to 9. Going to do a search on where to get more of that. Can't wait to battle with my new set.
@@funmylife9248 Thanks. Yeah. I soon afterwards went searching for how to find them. Strangely enough for the Surtr wrist armor I need to upgrade from 8 to 9 I saw I had 2 out of 5 needed. If the Tempered Remnants are only gotten after the final showdown with Odin I don't know how come I had some already in inventory. Anyway I only paused before going for the final showdown to go do the Crucible Trials in order to get Surtr's armor set so now that I've gotten them I'll be doing that final part first thing tomorrow morning and then go do the Last Remnants side quest to get the remaining Tempered Remnants.
This set up works-however you want to equip runics that have multiple consecutive hits like wrath of frost ancient, breath of thamur, mist of helheim, cyclone of chaos, thrust of thousand soilders….when you take a hit immediately release any of these runic attacks any you’ll regain all health lost from most hits. Also the key to making this work is let the armor be your defense, let your weapons be your strength and vitality I use stone cutter knob, pommels of brutal might, battle scarred sauroter stone wall shield (you won’t be using it), rond of restoration (simply for defense and vitality, for the relic the hilt of fortsbrand goes better being as though it turns your already tank build into super tank build for a short time, rage whatever floats your boat but I use valor, 3 nifilheim enchantments, jotenheims honor, Midgard bravery, then all four healing enchantments, except for eirs armament. Your vitality should be exactly 170 like this. Wala your a tank and can just mash r1, welcome all hits and almost never die. Note:bifrost still hurts bad.
Love the modifications and nicely explained. I'm going to try this out and hopefully NG+ comes soon so I can test it throughout a playthrough. Thanks for sharing!

Have you compared the armor and weapon attachments you recommended to fully upgraded base armor and attachments? Base armor and hilts are pretty badass when fully upgraded.
Yeah the base set is super awesome. I think they have the best raw stats, but they lack the passive buffs and effects, that's why I went with the build I went for. Awesome set, though
It's from a Buried Treasure quest in Svartalfheim. It's called "Fruits of Industry." I believe it was in the area with all the tower rigs with the geyser
Thank you for sharing. Your build set helps me a lot somehow i can last up to last 2 to 3 health of GNA. I can't seem to find your link to defeat GNA. I have subscribed to your channel. Thanks a lot!
Thanks a lot and I'm glad it helped! For the Gna video, it's tagged in the video when I mention it (towards the beginning). I will also update the video description to add the video there for future reference. Thank you for bringing this to my attention!
I equipped this exact build and it's great so far but my stats don't match up with what's shown. I know my strength stat is lower because I got screwed by the dragon glitch at the crater but my defense and vitality are slightly lower than what's shown.
Comes down to your personal preference. The build in my video is all about an extremely high defense stat, and the Steinbjorn chest piece is the way to go if you want the highest possible defense.
With Berserkers; get to at least 300 in Strength with the spear too and you will have a major advantage in beating them. It's a mistake if you fight them without these 2 things unless you are really good.
Could I ask how you get that Vitality that high. I tried to get over 170 to use the greater hp restore but I cant. I have done all 35 nornir chests and 4 point permanently vita but sitll not enough. I copied exactly the same of your build. Thanks, this is awesome build
I'm glad you're liking the build and hopefully we can get your vitality at the appropriate level. Have you made sure that ALL enchantments are exactly as I have them in the build? That is typically the area where players make that mistake. Otherwise, what is your Vitality stat after following everything?
That's strange! Are you sure your enchantments are allotted exactly as mine are in the video? To my knowledge, the developers haven't altered the stats of these pieces/enchantments
great video! just one question - I completed Forging Destiny but i dont see Charging Assault Sauroter as craftable - do I have to go back to Sindri's house???
Say, You haven't spoken about freya's attire, or armer. Are you saying there is no difference between the QUEEN'S armor, as apposed to all the other armor's???
I didn't mention her Queen armor set because that is only obtainable after beating Gna. The purpose of this video was to help those who had trouble with the berserker king and to then fight Gna afterward. I love the Queen armor set and I will be taking that into NG+, no doubt
Huh... you must've killed those two then. Or perhaps you aren't in the correct spot in Vanaheim? Double check the location on the map just to make sure. Otherwise, you must've killed them prior or your game is glitched
Yeah, just like the last comment, something must be different because now that I have 3M hack silver and multiple resources, maxed out every piece of gear, I put together the same build and nowhere close to 100 vitality, so I can’t use the massive health recen enchantment
That's super strange. I checked the patch notes for the past few weeks and no adjustments have been made for the gear. Do you have the proper enchantments set?
hmm...strange indeed. i put it together and was able to build the exact spec in this video. of course i'm a terrible player and can't parry worth a damn. even with easiest difficulty and checkpoints on, it took me about 5 restarts to beat the berserker king, lol. i'm just a middle aged man that still enjoys video games, and this type of game is my kyrptonite
@@feelingtardy Great to hear the build worked for you! And as always, great games have a way of finding people willing to try them, regardless of age 😀
He's a freaking pain in the ass. Have you followed my build? It should definitely help you out a bit, but it really comes to knowing his attacks and responding to them accordingly
Considering you can't get this until you get the spear weapon, which is about half way through the game...I fail to see where this is a build that will carry you through the game. At that point in game you can get a better build.
If you needed carried up to that point by armor you're doing something wrong. This is specifically for the hardest boss fights, all of which require you to have the spear.
By stone dragon do you mean the stone troll? If so, yes. Killing all the stone trolls will net you some awesome enchantments and crafting materials for the armor set

Good job! I'm glad this build helped you out
Most definitely did then took out Gna super easy and got my platinum
@@Cyberpunk-zb8nk Awesome to hear!
Great build, but I have a question. Where did you get Svartalfheim's Lifeblood?
Thank you. only your build can help me get through with those 2 boss... 👍
Glad I could help!
I equipped this exact build and it's great so far but my stats don't match up with what's shown. I know my strength stat is lower because I got screwed by the dragon glitch at the crater but my defense and vitality are slightly lower than what's shown.
Huh, that's strange. Do you have all the slots in the Amulet of Yggdrasil the exact same?
I have seen so many videos about the best armor. What should I choose?
Comes down to your personal preference. The build in my video is all about an extremely high defense stat, and the Steinbjorn chest piece is the way to go if you want the highest possible defense.
This build beat gna and king thank you so much 😊😊😊😊
With Berserkers; get to at least 300 in Strength with the spear too and you will have a major advantage in beating them.
@@funmylife9248i have check it again, I used one incorrect enhancement. You save my day man. Thanks alot
@@joenguyen1863 I'm glad that helped!
It still took me a few hours but I finally beat Gna (on balanced difficulty) with this build. Now on to King Hrolf Kraki.....
I'm not able to equip the 'Greater Regenerating Essence' amulet. It requires 170 Vitality and when I equip everything listed my Vit is 134?
That's strange! Are you sure your enchantments are allotted exactly as mine are in the video? To my knowledge, the developers haven't altered the stats of these pieces/enchantments
hilt of tyrfing relic will proc steinbjorn perk and rond of restoration perk
Thank you so much for the video
Of course! I'm glad you enjoyed it
This build helped me to finally kill the berserker king! Thanks! 😃
Good job! Glad this build could help 😄
They should make boss like nifhelheim and muspelheim challenges cant get enough of gna and king rolf😄
great video! just one question - I completed Forging Destiny but i dont see Charging Assault Sauroter as craftable - do I have to go back to Sindri's house???
You need to go to Brok and Sindri's shop (blacksmith) to craft it!
@@funmylife9248 Thanks man! I just got it!
@@chili1512 Absolutely!
I beat the king of the hill challenge in muspelheim & didn't get any of sarturs armor...what gives, was I supposed to do it later in the story.??
Sorry about that. The Ring of Fire challenge will award the wrists. I'll pin this at the top so people know going forward
After losing150 times, this build beat the berserker king on my first try!,,
Congrats! Must've felt good to get that fight over with 😄
New game + coming in March but the question is will there be that many people still invested in the game
Is that chest piece nerfed? I played around with it, it doesn't proc as often
I checked the patch notes and it doesn't seem to have been changed
Do you have too finish the game first or what
You don't need to, but it is recommended
Say,
You haven't spoken about freya's attire, or armer.
I hope krator get younger in his next avengers with the Egyptian gods
you are the best
Dragon armor is in my opinion one of the best.
Yeah it's definitely one of the better sets
@@funmylife9248 but mixing them is best way to win anything haha
its ng+?
I beat game with 605 strength and it was so quick and easy on god mode :)
Way to go!
The final two trolls are not in Vanaheim for me the spots are empty I killed the first two before coming to Vanaheim,
Huh... you must've killed those two then. Or perhaps you aren't in the correct spot in Vanaheim? Double check the location on the map just to make sure. Otherwise, you must've killed them prior or your game is glitched
Didn't get the Surtrs wrists from king of the hill.
Another said from, ring of fire challenge
Sorry about that! I can confirm that it is from the Ring of Fire challenge for the wrists.
I got everything I needed but my vitality is still short?
Did you follow all the 9 configurations from the Amulet of Yggdrasil?
bro i fucking love your build i made it first try with king its op
Awesome! I’m glad this build was able to help. Nice work!
How do get vit that high?
The right armor and enchantments. If you follow the guide, you can get that same vitality and other stats
@@funmylife9248 thanks managed to do it but still struggling against the king
@@hambalidikko6688 that's on you brother. (I mean you with your skill issue)
Game save wizard allowed me to one shot the toughest mini bosses.
Idk how, but I followed this exact build and my Strength, Vitality, and HP are -2 less than OP. 😬
Don't know what it is I'm doing wrong can't get past the king for nothing lol
He's a freaking pain in the ass. Have you followed my build? It should definitely help you out a bit, but it really comes to knowing his attacks and responding to them accordingly
I have 23 million XP and 43 million strength and defense
And I take it your console exploded?
@@funmylife9248 nope lol
I copied ur setup, fully lvled up everything and ur stats still higher than mine 💀 how
Hmmm... All your enchantments are the same as well? If so, they should be the exact same stats as mine
Jesus loves you
Did you kill the stone dragon in elf land
By stone dragon do you mean the stone troll? If so, yes. Killing all the stone trolls will net you some awesome enchantments and crafting materials for the armor set
@@funmylife9248 no… The actual dragon
@@funmylife9248 I think he means the stone dragon in Svartalfheim, there is a stone dragon you awaken there with the Relic.
@@mrguillo Mind blown🤯 Had NO IDEA about using the relic on the stone dragon. Hold on, Imma go slay that thing now
