I visited Birgir with Atreus before going to the last main story mission. And it has a slightly different dialogue. Atreus said he knows someone in need of companion and will talk to him later after.
If Atreus speaks to Birgir before going to the last story mission, when you go back and visit Chaurli, Birgir will be in Freya's home stoking a fire taking care of Chaurli.
That Version of the Birgir interaction is quite different if you do events earlier or with Atreus. Soon as the game let me open the portal, I assumed Birgy was there. I didn't even know about the Freya version of this interaction.
i always went to birgir at the end at the game which was freya. I go to vanaheim for that asgard remants and to see tyr aswell as birgir, then going to midgard to see chaurli and birgir and also Nine Realms in Bloom sidequest
Missing a big one. Go to Muspelheim and head all the way to the Spark of the World where you stabbed Surtr with the blades to turn him into Ragnarok. The real Tyr is there and you have a brief interaction.
Those first interactions with Charlie. those sense actually make way more sense if you do the first set up for Birgir with Atreus rather then freya, as the end interaction doesn’t flow quite well with her being shocked he came when she asked him and him saying do you want me to leave when again in this version she asked him to go there. But with Atreus no one actually knows he asked birgir untill the end when you show up with freya.
It does make more sense, as she asked him if that he came as she only proposed a potential retirement home for him to stay at. Virgin could have denied the offer, and it is still her home so after her travels away from chaurli that’s where she would return, which is why birgir says if she wants him to leave under the assumption that she’d like her residence to herself.
@@cocaineman2788 to me that doesn’t make sense, if I tell you hey I got a place for you to stay and take care of Charlie and you can retire there, it wouldn’t make any sense that when I show up I would expect you to leave. Next game will tie the Norse mythology to the Celtic one with a Mimir story and how they have to traverse the pond to stop Arawn, God of the Otherworld, from reviving Odin. You will fight the Grieving Widow of Surtr, Sinmara (probably as a 100% completion like Gna). Reason to go for Kratos is, Atreus wanted to investigate but was captured, Angrboda informs Kratos and he venturs of. Angrboda gets assistance of her 'kids' Fenrir, Hel and Jörmungandur and Kratos gets Freya, Thrud (playable support character) and Mimir. They fight in different realms and will encounter Breia, Winter Goddess and many more ultimately stopping Arawn. Also, Warrior queen Boudica shows up, friend or foe? Who knows. God of War - Otherworld releases in 2025 on PS5 only..... I hope hahah..
I wish we got actual cutscenes with the Real Týr. Its such a contract to how Odin made him look. Instead of a coward, he is a *calm and reasonable person*
I really like the fact that despite the size and unnatural abilities that garm had, with fenrir’s soul and this vessel turning into a giant doggy is so amusing

You can set up Birger moving in to Freya’s old house anytime after you save him from the dragon. You can even visit him with Atreus rather than Freya, although the dialogue isn’t much different.
If you listen to the spoiler cast on ign director Eric Williams hints that some of the animations when Tyr is at the different spots in Midgard/alfheim/muspelheim etc hint at where the series will go next with different mythologies. People have said that he is doing tai chi and so it may hint at Chinese or Japanese. Either way I can see how the next game might go. Kratos is the new leader in the Norse realm, invasions are coming. Personally I see it as being a kind of fearful invasion, they could hear that Kratos destroyed the entirety of Greece and then went to the Norse pantheon and killed most of them too and is now ruling it! I don’t think there’s much point in theorising past that as obviously atreus would come into it heavily with his giants quest and for any further story to work it would have to have heavy personal implications for all characters involved. Might see the return of something to do with the mask in future games as that was clearly something that would factor into every pantheon if it is linked to some kind of creator. Overall I’m hyped as hell for it, when asked about different mythologies Eric Williams could have just shot the question down but he specifically mentioned tyr and his animations as if it was a hint and then said he might get in trouble if he says anything else 👌 there’s way more to come I think guys! Shame we will have to wait 3-5 years for another game but at least that one will be fully ps5 exclusive and take full advantage of the hardware😆
Whereever they'll go with the franchise, I hope they don't "assassin's creed it" too much, jumping from pantheon to pantheon, killing gods left and right for the lols with a threadbare story to "connect" it. The GoW writers actually surprised me by making the jump from Greece to nordic realms feel organic and make sense storywise, but still, it's a thin line to tread on.
I love how Kratos does it offer to get him the coin back just wishes lock because I think Kratos knows that he needs at least a chisel to get that thing out
After releasing the real Tyr from Nilfheim, when returning to Midgard, there's one place where one of the artifacts of the Lake of 9 is where Tyr can be found, contemplating the ruins of his statue and he says: "I just want to be left alone"
The first dialogue can be tackled before you reach the location. If you go to the camp as “BOY!” JKJKJK, as Atreus after birgir goes full rambo, but before endgame, atreus can talk to him after you find him, and talk about a lonely place for him to stay at. If you go thete as freya and kratos in endgame birgir will be there
This was all good stuff, but I wish there was more after 100%ing the game. Like a fight between Tyr and Kratos in the Nif training grounds would have been super cool.
😍😍hopefully
You can also find the real Tyr later in the game too
That "woo" literally killed me😂
So you're undead now?
I wish we got actual cutscenes with the Real Týr. Its such a contract to how Odin made him look.
Instead of a coward, he is a *calm and reasonable person*
I love how you see fenrirs wounds heal as time goes on.
I really like the fact that despite the size and unnatural abilities that garm had, with fenrir’s soul and this vessel turning into a giant doggy is so amusing
my first one was completely different, I spoke with the warrior after Atreus and Kratos recovered him from the crater, so when I went to the house he was already inside and Freya had no idea he was the one there and he said he could leave but she told him to stay and then he said he would only until she was ready to come home.
You'll actually see Atreus' journal on the bookshelf at Sindri's place too once you collect it.
When kratos was looking at the drawing from angrboda I was so shocked that kratos laughed
i also went to midgard to recover the stolen treasure kila in the lake of the nine , and i found tyr where you get the dagger
For the first pt you forgot to mention you have to capture all the worms in the realm bubbles to get the seeds to get there first
You can set up Birger moving in to Freya’s old house anytime after you save him from the dragon.
Do you think kratos will have an other son?
Also funny you say that because that was supposed to be the plot of GOW3
Whereever they'll go with the franchise, I hope they don't "assassin's creed it" too much, jumping from pantheon to pantheon, killing gods left and right for the lols with a threadbare story to "connect" it.
The GoW writers actually surprised me by making the jump from Greece to nordic realms feel organic and make sense storywise, but still, it's a thin line to tread on.
@@lawerencejuge4110 I'm kinda shiping Kratos and Freya, but I think they work better as friends than as lovers.
Personally, I think Hinduism could work well. Take Ganesha for example -- could make Horizon's Tremortusk look like a plaything
I love how Kratos does it offer to get him the coin back just wishes lock because I think Kratos knows that he needs at least a chisel to get that thing out
7:23 Kratos chuckles?!? SHOCKED TF OUTTA ME😭
Nifilhiem at Odin ‘s ancient prision at the very depth a big door use Draupnir spear climb that solve puzzle you will find tyr inside that cage
you can find skjoldr still reaching for that coin several times, with unique dialogue
kratos references sisyphus in one of them
You can actually talk to Birgir while Atreus is with you and he asks him to watch over chaurli
Was afraid i might have missed something ...but saw everything and platinum. 10/10 game
I find it adorable that when Kratos learns Angrboda paints, he tries to flex to her that his son can draw
surprised finding tyre isnt in this, was hoping to see all the locations to find him
If you go back to the "spark of the world" cave after freeing Tyr from prison, you will find him there, he has a few words to say as well.
After releasing the real Tyr from Nilfheim, when returning to Midgard, there's one place where one of the artifacts of the Lake of 9 is where Tyr can be found, contemplating the ruins of his statue and he says: "I just want to be left alone"
I also recommend doing a biking funeral. Has wonderful music abd a very well rounded ending.
After defeating Gna go talk to the shield maidens. The talk is great.
Kratos and Mimir saying "wooed" and "woo"
made me laugh😂 also when Kratos laughed it uh 😮
Kratos could have at least pulled out the coin for skjoldier tho.
For the fight to transition to the gow ragnarok logo with the music and a thank you for fully completing the game. Would have made things feel good. Then it puts you back in to just before the Tyr fight
Yeah like the Kingdom Heart fights! Too bad 3 secret fights and none of them are particularly good/fun. A fight againt Thrud and one against Tyr would of been cool.
Man that wouldve been a great idea. Like a little sparring with him while the credits roll
so, about that lmao
this reminds me of how you can run into everyone arthur met as john in red dead redemption 2
Out of all the talks with boi, he forgot to give boi “THE TALK,”
You kind of left out that you have to talk to Ratatoskr to unlock these secret gateways.
Thank you I’m looking like where is it. I was thinking I had to talk to the squirrel first, 👍🏽
Dude, the green Ravens are just THERE 😂
There’s also (Real) Tyr in the prison on Niflheim and you can also find him in the absolutely beautiful pit where you released Ragnarok afterwards….
😂kratos: did you teach him how to woo
I actually got the wooing interaction before I went to Jötunheim.
A Really Great Info Clip. 100% .IMPRESSED.
How feel sad when kratos said : loki will go atrieas remains
That Mimir's "Brother?" is on point.
Kratos asking mimir, you thought the boy to woo 😂😂😂
You unlock Charlie by getting the mystery seeds from ratakuskor by feeding all the stags in vanaheim
and the thrown coin is in the direction it would have been thrown from Kratos' house, the level of attention to detail
Byrgr that traveller from vanaheim is there if you complete the vanaheim scent of survival mission first
You also have to visit him first in Freyr's camp to tell him to go to Chaurlie
@@GeonQuuin I didn’t on my first play through I did scent of survival then went to niflheim then jotunheim and then straight to chaurli and byrgr was there I didn’t visit him in the camp until my second playthrough
The saddest moment in the entire game was 100% at the start when Fenrir died. I Was so thrilled when he came back! Not just came back.. he came back In complete f god mode
I am proud of my exploring, other than the turtle dialogue, I stumbled upon all of these interactions.
For Skjoldr you can go back their a few different times and he’s still trying to get it out. Mimir says something about this.
To get a “I like you” from kratos is amazing he truly trusts her
When Kratos didn’t help Skoldr get the coin I was like “You just gonna leave him like that!?”
