I use the 1090 with my S2 and my every day campus electric scooter. I like the chains because they’re a little more versatile compared to a u lock, but definitely heavier. I just wrap it in the space between the battery and the front of the seat while riding.
While Kryptonite locks are definitely one of the best, if not the best bike locks you can possibly get, I personally don't ever put myself in a situation where I would have to leave my bike. If I need to get some groceries and stuff, I just don't go there with my bike knowing that I have to leave it outside. Better be safe than sorry.
@@monyetbesar Which is also fine. A lot of people buy these bikes solely for commuting purposes. I’m using it for leisure, and it’s good for that as well. To each their own!
If I can’t bring my bike inside I just leave my bike behind. I’ve seen people in broad daylight with chain cutters and braking through locks while alarms are going off with no care in the world. The thieves don’t care if they get caught. Majority have criminal records and stealing a bike is a misdemeanor and they have thousands of them. They’ll take there chances for a $3,000 bike

I agree 100%
I don't get it, so you don't go places using your bike? You only take them for a ride from and back to your home without leaving it?
@@monyetbesar That's right. I ride it to enjoy it, not to put it somewhere while I'm away for a few minutes or hours. I am not taking that risk.
@@ilyamiskov aha I understand, never thought about using it just for fun. I live in a dense city, so I mainly use it to travel from A to B
