Broken, thanks for this tutorial - finally a video that goes into immense detail - jam packed with good information, without all of the extra intro nonsense that other videos have. I was watching another video recently and it took 10 minutes to get to the point, while yours has me in the deepest parts of the ocean by then. Appreciate you uploading this!
I just got into AE lately, and damn, where the hell have you been in my entire life? Your contents, tutorials, everything is spot on! Love the way you do things so effortlessly
For the 5:54 time stamp, how do we add color if we don't have the plug-in? I was following along with no issues up until that point. Was kind of hoping he'd add an alternative way to do so.
Thank you for this. I love how you get right to business, mention the hotkeys, and say why and what you're doing without lingering. Your style is terrific. Please keep this up.
I appreciate the great comment and I'm glad you can find value in the stuff I create, it makes it so much more worth it knowing people find it helpful.
Interesting video! I learned a few things, thank you. For the Starbucks and NASA logos I personally would have split the logo up in photoshop and imported the PSD into After Effects, or turned the elements into vector graphics, that seemed like a lot of extra work
Hey Thank you for this fantastic content. I have a question here: For some reason, ctrl+alt+home key is not working to bring the anchor point to center while designing a cartoon network logo. Additionally, I am using after effect CS6 in windows 10 PC . Any thoughts would be highly appreciated. Thank you
Trying to follow this as a beginner was tough! I was trying to work on centering my anchor in the first layer and my man was already working on animation haha Absolutely enjoyed following along with this...even if it did take me a week to get through it. Thank you for the great content and walkthrough!
I'm glad it was helpful and you managed to get through it! Remember, the "SPEED" feature is very useful so you could set it to say 0.75 in order to follow along better and you could always scrub back the video in case you miss anything. Good luck!
TNice tutorials is much more simple than I thought with you explaining it. Currently half way through and I feel like I know everytNice tutorialng already lmao

Hi Teacher, Thank you for the nice and wonderful tutorial. I have a question regarding a null object. Now I can understand how to place null in the middle of the cube. If I have four cubes how can I center the null to them? Could you please make a tutorial on this?
im just starting and tNice tutorials video was perfect.Well explained and easy to follow for a beginner.I never understood soft soft till i watched tNice tutorials.
Very nice tutorial , but I don't understand why we need to offset the copies at 46:25. I have the impression that I get the same results without doing it, but I might be wrong? Can someone explain it to me please?

Sometimes it is able to get the AI / EPS file of those logo, i feel like the future tutorials perhaps can take that into consideration and letting us know what ways to speed up things if we have those files in our hand.

The 3D transform tool is different from what I see in 3:06. Does anyone know how I can change the 3D tool to the way he has it? When I try to rotate the top plate facing up, the 3D rotation tool makes it go all over the place instead, only because my settings are on a new 3D transform tool
When I use the Pan Behind tool to snap the anchor point like you did in 2:50 it doesn't snap, even if I press ctrl while moving it or shift, it just doesn't snap, i checked my settings and snap to guides is enabled, do you know what the problem would be ?
Thanks a lot! It works great, I downloaded and installed it but why it's missing the Overlay option in Tools - Video Editing? Is there any additional patch?
I'm having trouble with the first Cartoon Network intro. When I finish a cube and create a new camera, the cube changes position. I don't know how to move it to the C cube point.
Awesome tutorial. Near damn perfection explanation. I have an issue tho. I work with the 2022 version of AE where (when working in 3D space) there is a big sphere used to position the X,Y and Z position in front of the anchorpoint tool. The problem with this is that my pan behind tool can't snap to the borders of the cube plains. Is there a work around or a way to switch to the old layout of the 3D interface?
Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you found this valuable! I'm not quite sure, but I would suggest you to try turning on the Snapping option which is located at the top middle part of the UI and check to see if the anchor point is snapping. Additionally, google if there is a way to disable the gizmo under the preferences maybe.
I had the same dumb problem. Scoured reddit to no avail. I know you asked this a month ago, but for anyone else looking for this solution... I was luckily able to figure it out quickly (took me 5 minutes) through trial and error. If you use the selection tool (V) and double click the square side you're working on, it puts you into a 2D view of it. You can then move the anchor point from here, but make sure you reactivated the panning tool (Y). For some reason, you don't even need to hold command to make it snap in this view, or at least I don't. It snaps pretty easy from here. Then at the top switch back to the 3D view and you can repeat this for each side. If this helps anyone, like this comment.
