And also be aware that rice has pretty high levels of arsenic in it. I would use organic, but not sure if that make a difference. I wouldn't use either on a baby.❤

Aww it looks like she has low porosity hair ... Maybe that’s why it made her hair feel dry or her hair can’t handle a lot of protein!!! Her hair is like my middle daughters! She’s adorable ❤️❤️❤️

Hey Mercy, love your technique. The Rice Water usually leaves the hair feeling "Coarse" - not dry.. It is advisable to do a deep conditioner or a quick conditioner depending on the condition of the hair. The hair will then be restored to its natural texture and softness. It will still retain the nutrients and growth that you are hoping for. It really works. 😀 Try it and let us know how it works.
Definitely. You always want to balance protein treatments with moisture treatment (deep condition). Que linda! Linda/lindo means pretty/cute in Spanish.
Maybe her hair was hard because isn't rice water a protein treatment? Seems like babies may not need protein treatments in their hair. Really cute baby! 😍🥰

Mercy, don't be surprised that baby Nadia's hair is hard after rice wash, that's quite normal. Rice water actually dries the hair but after applying oil, leave In conditioner and such stuff the hair becomes soft again.

Rice water is a protein treatment, as such, on its own, it will make hair feel hard/dry. You need to make sure you follow with a moisturising shampoo/Leave-in conditioner. Also, perhaps as she's still a baby, she might not need protein treatments just yet. Or maybe try using much less rice so it's a very light protein treatment?🤷
You might also want to check her hair porosity. Low porosity needs much less frequent and lighter protein treatments than high porosity hair.♥ She's just adorable, just loved the video and her little outfit and hairdo at the end...😍

She is gorgeous. 🤩 I've seen other rice water videos and seems that is what the water does is make the curls tighter. I was going to try for hair growth as some claim that's what it's for. I don't have curls just body in my hair but am losing my hair.

Rice water is a protein treatment. The way you made it makes it super concentrated. I wonder if that's why her hair felt dry afterwards.
I was also going to comment this. Maybe add more water to it or give her a deep conditioning treatment after. For her age I would have just diluted it more. She's so cute!
