@@aBunchOfPedalsI play guitar, but mostly focus on Synths and drum machines these days. It's hard to find synth demonstration videos for the effects pedals sometimes. I bought a Keeley caverns pedal because it sounded awesome on the guitar videos I found, but it sounds pretty bad on Synths.
@@yourcitysleepsI feel ya on that. I’ve always had a keyboard laying around but I don’t really know how to play piano. Enough to fake it and make somewhat decent music. But yea, anyways, that’s why I always add synth and bass because those folks use pedals too.
Doesn’t it though? Really cool how the highs were brought back for wet and dry separately, which alone can make so many different tones to use with slight variations on the Lag, Rate and Chop.

Your “clean” tone is incredible. The first track it almost sounded like you were using a ring mod. Do you release any ambient music? If so under what name? I wanna buy some.
Damn dude that’s really nice of you to say! Funny thing is my clean tone is just a 90’s MIM Stratocaster into my apogee interface. I do have some EQ going though. Other than that, it’s an extremely simple setup! I don’t really officially release music, this has been my outlet the last few years. What kind of ambient bands do you like?
@@neoaureus Yup! I forget the exact year but I think it's a 94' or something close. I can honestly say that it's a much better guitar than the new USA guitars (custom shops are still rad), no doubt. Thanks, that’s really nice of you to say. A little surprising…. But very nice lol. Surprising because none of this gear is all that special. I bought that guitar on Craigslist in rough shape (90’s MIM Strat) and fixed it up. Nothing expensive there, just a stock Stratocaster. I also go straight into my interface (also not super expensive). So there’s no crazy amps or microphones. Stereo effect sounds amazing! Although, I’m getting nervous at how dark the tone sounds when the Mix is dimed (vibrato) mode. Yours is the second demo I’ve watched and noticed that. Mine arrives tomorrow. We’ll see, but I’m kinda bummed, since I mainly use vibrato in my guitar rig.
@@aBunchOfPedals The vibrato sounds like it does in your video, i.e., too dark for me to use as an always-on vibrato. Def could be a lo-fi effect, though. Also, it doesn’t play nicely in stereo with my reverb pedal, i.e., the way the T-60 produces its stereo effect vs the way my reverb pedal processes the signal.
@@gilguajardo7808 I don’t mess around with a lot of stereo gear. I was into it for a while but then just kinda got sick of it (not being dramatic).
