Periodization is just too deep of a topic that doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things outside of top 1% of athletes tbh
@@justjumarido you think training splits might be better because I was about to do THP and u know they’re big on periodization, before finding out they dont have a lot for in season athletes. Then I see hoopers that are increasing their vert in season and I know they not doing crazy training cycles and getting fatigued or trying to peak bc they dont have time like that

I've hear that for speed endurance the recovery time is usually the "classic" 1 minute per 10 meters... Is it still a good training stimulus that way or it's too much recovery time?

You ever see olympic indoor track cycling? Guys are around 200-220lbs and go hard af. There's not so much a stretch shortening cycle on a bike, pretty much no eccentric so how should they train for max output?

Any reason for me having an elite laser timed 10 yard split (1.54 in tennis shoes) but a 4.8 forty? Thoughts on downhill sprints at 60m to improve my top speed?
Maybe check to see if they are both with reaction or without . Makes a big difference

Of course you can but you’re going to have to get on it
but is jogging for once a week important too for heart?
I always recommend biking instead for this

@@nikolozeliozashvili2480 I don’t know exactly what you mean, but if you set your gear right with bikes you can either build slow OR fast-twitch fibers. It’s a versatile way of training that doesn’t ruin your knees
Edit: Walking could help, but it eventually won’t be enough for cardio health. Progressive overload is always the name of the game in working out.
5:54 wouldn't the rest be longer? You still wouldn't be recovered from a 200m after only 7 minutes
