Mr. Phillip, it is astounding that you can "see" into a chunk of wood's future. Not only are your turning skills remarkable, but also your vision. Thank you.
I just want to say I love that your videos dont have music in most of them lol. I love actually hearing the natural sound it makes it helps me fall asleep for some reason its soothing to me lol. Great work too!!!
That was a bold and somewhat scary piece to turn. It came out beautiful. I know that when you start with something , that unbalanced that things are going to try to move around. I couldn't help but notice that the entire lathe was shaking. I have mine, not only bolted to the floor but also to the wall. The wall attachment really helps to stabilize things.
Been watching wood-turning videos for the better part of a year and a half now and I must say that this video has opened my eyes to what can happen with a quality piece of wood and the right artist. Absolutely love this piece - you have opened my eyes good sir.
I was surprised at how solid that piece of wood was. I expected it to have more cracks and splits in the grain. The willow wood ,to me, has an undefined grain like poplar. The Danish oil finish works beautifully for this wood. Outstanding job Andy!!!
This was so much better than I was expecting. Everyone is always just filling wood up with resin, but this is really unique. I NEVER thought it would end up like that. I love it!
You never cease to amaze me. There are many things that I enjoy about your videos, but what stands out to me is that there is neither narration nor music. You let your hands, your vision and your talent do all that for you! Beautiful as always!!
Watching you work is like reading a murder mystery. You know someone died and someone did it, but you don't know who until the end. With you, I know it's going to be something, but it keeps me guessing to the very end!
I can't tell you how much I love this video. Not only is the bowl a work of art, but the process is lovely, too. And I love willow wood so much. I mean, I'm obsessed with willows. I also love how you 'sign' your work. Everything about this is beautiful. No music, no talking. Incredibly satisfying. Thank you.
I wasn’t too sure about this piece at the start, but I love the way you transformed it. The wood grain is beautiful and I love the rough edge. It kind of reminds me of a tulip with two petals bent slightly outward 💜
Your artistic vision is absolutely amazing, Andy, as is your execution of that vision. You've transformed what many of us would regard as firewood into a stunningly beautiful creation!
I just am amazed at ur skill and how u carve these pieces with such authority! I would get my hand jammed up in the wood. First thing I noticed was it was not centered and u cut it anyway. Wow! All the power to you sir. What beautiful work u produce. Thank you 🙏🏻...and bless u and ur family...stay well!
Same here. I like no music unless it's very good music. I like how he spins the piece between transitions. His process is very smooth. He hardly stops turning, figures out what he'll make while turning or takes a break off camera.
OMG!!! On every video of yours I've watched so far, the level of craftsmanship just blows me away! You are VERY impressive, and you must have one heck of a creative mind to envision what you are going to turn a raw piece of wood like that into. You are a true artist in a forum that isn't very forgiving if you make a mistake. WOW!!! Makes me miss my High School woodshop, but I NEVER created anything this amazing. Thank you for sharing. Lynn
What a beautiful piece. Something I would love to have to be able to show off any curio cabinet by itself. My dear friend you are a master at what you do. God-bless you my dear friend you and your family.
only made something on a lathe once. lathe was a 1957 shopsmith that overheated...wood was willow...tools were dads, old and dull. made a little vase that i still have. crappy tools and worn out lathe made the experience kinda scary and i never tried it again. love watching you work however, make it look so easy.
I have looked at other people’s channels and I am not pleased with their app so I am going to just watch yours.so thank you again for your awesome videos
I've seen a bunch of other turners do a live edge crotch project. Yours though just looks so much better man, honestly Andy. You have a natural God given talent. Shit loads of practice most likely didn't hurt though. Great job !
I have seen all your videos from the first to the last, you have grown a lot as an artist, my wishes for success to be brighter, I would like to see more works with epoxy and precious metals. Thanks for what you offer 👏👏👏👏👌👌😎🇲🇦🇪🇸
I had never watched wood turning before. I find the process fascinating. And the projects turn out so beautiful. You have a very artistic talent, thanks for sharing.
It’s an absolutely stunning vase/bowl Andy, really so very beautiful. You must be very happy with the way it turned for you, it can’t have been easy, I expect your wrists and arms were very tired by the time you had finished working on such a massive piece of wood. Thanks for sharing this amazing turning project xxx
_Best part about your videos is that you don't have any annoying background music, just the sound of tools make your videos awesome_
Arun KT - boy, you can say that again. Good job with the wood, and the no music.

Cracks! Hahahahaha! You said 'cracks'! LOL And the wood looked like a crotch!!!! LOL

Watching you do it really helped me improve my shear cutting technique. I get a much better finish before I sand now. Thanks for your amazing work!

Beautiful. The originality and uniqueness of this piece (and honestly all your pieces) is astounding.
Thank you.
Thanks 👍
Your videos are hypnotic, I am getting addicted to them!
Your videos make me feel so calm and “refreshed” almost, I love everything you do :) ❤️
I don't usually like many live-edge bowls but I REALLY like this one!
No se que es pero siempre me gusta ver este tipo de video me agradan mucho gracias por el video 🤘🤘🍻
Amazing what you see inside the raw wood. Thank you for sharing your work!
Thanks
Don’t you just love it when a piece of wood becomes a work of art..... I do. Thank you for another one dude.

What a satisfying thing to watch just before bedtime. I cannot get enough of your craftsmanship. Thank you Andy...
I had my suspicions but now I know that the wood I pinched from a rail site near Tenby is Willow, lovely & soft wood to work, great work again Andy
It's amazing what beauty is hiding inside! That turned out really pretty!
Well, you KNOW I love that, Andy! All that nature and the Phillip skill. Purity at it's finest!

Love it love it. That's what wood turning must be all about. Sometimes you need to preserve the natural beauty of it💕💕
When I got a notification that Andy uploaded another video my day instantly became better. And this piece is one of the nicest I've seen thus far.

The "Boxers Bowl" lol Amazing work Andy. Watching you work is like therapy for my soul. I absolutely love the live egde.
