    I just want to say I love that your videos dont have music in most of them lol. I love actually hearing the natural sound it makes it helps me fall asleep for some reason its soothing to me lol. Great work too!!!

    That was a bold and somewhat scary piece to turn. It came out beautiful. I know that when you start with something , that unbalanced that things are going to try to move around. I couldn't help but notice that the entire lathe was shaking. I have mine, not only bolted to the floor but also to the wall. The wall attachment really helps to stabilize things.

    Been watching wood-turning videos for the better part of a year and a half now and I must say that this video has opened my eyes to what can happen with a quality piece of wood and the right artist. Absolutely love this piece - you have opened my eyes good sir.

    I was surprised at how solid that piece of wood was. I expected it to have more cracks and splits in the grain. The willow wood ,to me, has an undefined grain like poplar. The Danish oil finish works beautifully for this wood. Outstanding job Andy!!!

    This was so much better than I was expecting. Everyone is always just filling wood up with resin, but this is really unique. I NEVER thought it would end up like that. I love it!

    I can't tell you how much I love this video. Not only is the bowl a work of art, but the process is lovely, too. And I love willow wood so much. I mean, I'm obsessed with willows. I also love how you 'sign' your work. Everything about this is beautiful. No music, no talking. Incredibly satisfying. Thank you.

    I wasn’t too sure about this piece at the start, but I love the way you transformed it. The wood grain is beautiful and I love the rough edge. It kind of reminds me of a tulip with two petals bent slightly outward 💜

      Same here. I like no music unless it's very good music. I like how he spins the piece between transitions. His process is very smooth. He hardly stops turning, figures out what he'll make while turning or takes a break off camera.

    OMG!!! On every video of yours I've watched so far, the level of craftsmanship just blows me away! You are VERY impressive, and you must have one heck of a creative mind to envision what you are going to turn a raw piece of wood like that into. You are a true artist in a forum that isn't very forgiving if you make a mistake. WOW!!!
    Makes me miss my High School woodshop, but I NEVER created anything this amazing.

    only made something on a lathe once. lathe was a 1957 shopsmith that overheated...wood was willow...tools were dads, old and dull. made a little vase that i still have. crappy tools and worn out lathe made the experience kinda scary and i never tried it again. love watching you work however, make it look so easy.

    I've seen a bunch of other turners do a live edge crotch project. Yours though just looks so much better man, honestly Andy.
    You have a natural God given talent. Shit loads of practice most likely didn't hurt though.

    It’s an absolutely stunning vase/bowl Andy, really so very beautiful.
