I have a growing pile of dismantled pallet timber, waiting for when I have the space, money, and time to buy and use a lathe. This video proves that it is worth the wait.
It is amazing what can happen to scrap (crap) in the hands of a skilled person. You certainly proved that scrap can be made beautiful. Very skilful & thanks for sharing. Don from South Aust.
I have lots of pallets and none are that good quality! I've just finished building a gate out of pallet wood, though, and it's much better than the old one! Thanks for the videos! 🖖
Thanks Jennie 🪵😃👍 If you haven't already, don't forget to subscribe to my NEW shorts channel 😉 thanks for your support !! ua-cam.com/users/HarrySmithShorts
I think it camè out quite beautiful. Mat e you could take the rest of them (if you still h them) glue them together kind of like half of a log and turn a long thin plate or shallow bowl, just a thought. Love your work. 😊❤
I would be happy to have palettes full of those those To sell , now where Are those old palettes , old NEW SUB here , genuinely about to begin wood turning on an old lathe my son bought me , Thanks for the suggestion ,
Ok, so you chopped up wood pallets into squares and then glued them together. What did you make? Is it a vase for holding flowers? What are you going to use it for? Does it have any practical use? Nice job, keep up the good work.
Thanks for watching William! This video is to inspire and also show what I do as a hobby. If people want to copy and try for themselves they should. But as you said, not everybody's got the equipment, so for those I say, sit back and enjoy the video and hopefully one day you'll be able to try it for yourself 👍
I like the way for using recycled wood 🪵 to show that with imagination and talent, everything could be beautiful again 🙂❤️. I’ve subscribed for a while, will look forward to your new video 👍🏻

Lovely wood from that pallet. The wood looked very dry, judging by the the small shavings.

@@bryanholden6487 Thanks Bryan :)
Nice 🙂
Klein aber fein 👌👏
Vielen Dank! Ich bin vollkommen einverstanden 👍
Nice, what is it?
Everything fine except those nail marks/holes. I did the same and hated my bowl because of the nail holes that are visible when finished turning.
Thanks for watching! This is one of my least favourite pieces. I knew there would be some holes present but it does annoy me 👍
😯😯

Yes.

its 10000 times easer to pull nails if you pull the hammer handel to the left or right instead of back
