🔥 And now, brace yourselves for the jaw-dropping news - we've managed to recover the missing pieces of this legendary drum kit! Both bass drums, every single tom, the snare - they're all here, polished and pristine, adorned with brand new Attack drum heads that let them roar like never before. Feast your eyes on the treasure trove of sound we're about to unleash.
Get ready for the lineup: 6", 8", 10", 10", 12", 13", 14", with 15" and 18" floor toms for that distinctive touch. We've got some extra flavor thrown in with a couple of Tama concert toms, with a touch of Chrome wrapping magic. The main rack toms wear their signature two-ply Attack Proflex2 coated heads, while the floor toms are tuned with punchy one-ply Attack Proflex1 coated heads for that delicious low-end punch.

All the audio recorded in our videos is recorded direct into either an M-Audio Profire 2626 or a Behringer Ultragain Pro-8 interface direct into Logic Pro X mixed using stock plugins on a Mac Pro 3,1 (2007 model) running OSX 10.11.6.

Reminds me of Eric Carrs' 80's Kit. Another time I saw a chrome Ludwig kit similar to this was Daryl Dwarf's (from the Canadian band The Killer Dwarfs) kit supporting Iron Maiden in 1988!
Eric’s chrome kit was greasy! Killer Dwarfs had some great stuff too, I actually have one of their albums on cassette 🤘
@@BlackBridgeSound I didn’t hear their first album but Stand Tall and Big Deal were excellent hard rock albums. The album that followed Dirty Weapons, didn’t move me at all. They were an excellent live band though.
Dirty weapons is the only one I’ve heard actually, I’ll have to check out those earlier two albums 🤘

I've got almost the same set up in classic maple 1x22 kick arse kick 8 10 12 13 mounted toms 15 16 flr toms the sound of this kit is Thunderous.

Eric Carr comes to mind when I see this big Ludwig kit. He used to have really big kits and a lot of Paiste cymbals. You have restored this kit very well I must say.

I’m an 80s drummer….and have a Ludwig 80s double bass. I know drums have gotten refined….but part of being a rocker in the 80s…having a big…..kit….ps love the Crome my favorite…

Yes…I love drumming. My hobby. Yes, I am stuck in the big drum era…2-24s 13 14 rack. 16. 18 floor…I’m still a bit confused about there overall quality….they are Blk / Wht badge…but they sound good and I love them. I love the chrome…my favorite mine are silver…but chrome….my dream.
If they sound great and you love playing them that’s all that matters!

Awesome kit ! But do yourself right ! And put two ply heads on the floor Tom’s ✅ keep the fat sound sequential 🤘
We had problems getting all the heads for these drums. There was a single ply 15” shipped by mistake but that drum sounded fantastic with the single ply so we opted to put a single ply on the 18 as well to keep the floor toms consistent with each other. Half of this kit was returned to us in extreme disrepair about a year before we managed to get the other half back so it was a long process.
The 8 n 10 look like my old Pearl fiberglass concert toms. I'd wrapped them in black years ago and about 10 years ago let go of the kit I had them with.

I bought a PEARL kit around 1977/78 made of woodfiberglass fully chrome& they have 8&10 ROTO TOMS with the cannons on which I heard they no longer make,they sound nice& I still have them🥁

12 has - 8 screws, 13 - 8 screws, and 14 has 10 screws....cooooool, so, you can make brutal snare from 14 :), beautiful sound btw

sounds and looks amazing!!! I'd recommend not to pan the drums so heavily! I'm basically getting a mono sound with my headphones but that could just be me.
Hmm weird you should definitely hear a wide spectrum in headphones. With such a big kit I did pan the toms quite heavily from full right to full left with 9 toms!
