One of the best reviews for Continental and I have watched at least 10. I am on an extended test drive today and think highly of the car.

Bought my first continental....it is unreal..
    Thank you..
I will be perfectly clear...with the MKZ I had before and this Continental they definitely turn heads, and warrant stares as these cars are no longer made. That means they will be even more sought after and more rare and more valuable in the future....
Lincoln did a phenomenal job with the 2017 MKZ and Continental revamp...
Just wish I had the revel sound but thats okay. I will have this car for a long time and will make the investment of upgraded audio quality. Love this car. It's PIMP.
And the Matthew reference was gold!

Na minha opinião não tem alemão nenhum europeu que supere esse carro. Lincoln continental simplesmente o melhor top de linha.

Thousands of people petitioned Lincoln to make a new retro 1961 Lincoln Continental with the suicide doors. They actually made a prototype and then went back on the expectations of fans and produced this. Sad.

they should have made it like the suicide door Lincoln!!

First I'm one of the biggest lincoln fans out there and welcome the return of a real name in place of those silly M whatevers. I will not buy this car yet however because no rear entertainment in a modern luxury brand is a huge miss and people want a suiside door option. I'm guessing the doors will never happen. For now I'll just have some custom modifications done to my Town Car.

I’m looking for a lowering kit for this year Lincoln, any help?

    • @RichmondFordLincoln

You would probably have to do a custom air suspension. A lot pricier than lowering springs but I'm not sure if there are any companies making lowering springs for the Continental.

Hey guys. I am from Germany and I have a question? Is the color of the turning light in the back red or yellow? Thanks. Very nice car 😲👍

The only thing I need to know is that it is wrong-wheel-drive with a sideways engine, no V-8 option, and built on a plebian Fusion platform. That is certainly NOT what a luxury car should be.

    • @smr144
      @smr144 6 років тому +5

Chris Haywood that's wrong information. While all the M lincolns are built on a Ford platform, this car is built on a platform uniquely designed for the continental. Besides, the fusion is notably a smaller car...

All that Buck Rogers stuff sounds nice but really most people are never going to use most of it (A 30 way adjustable seat? Seriously, seriously!) and it just winds up being a lot of stuff that is going to break and probably be damn expensive to fix. I'm sure the manufacturer's build these things now with the idea that people are going to lease the car for two years and walk away and not much is likely to break in that time. That's probably true as far as it goes but personally I would have liked to see a lot less useless gadgets and a lot more inspiration and innovation in the body styling. The car just looks boring. I mean you bring back a legendary name like Lincoln Continental it shouldn't look like every other car on the road!

The 30 way seat is not a selling point to me and they should have left it just like the show car on the outside. All the little subtle changes to the exterior for the production car homogenized it. In my opinion the new Lincoln grill is not as exciting and distinctive as the previous split wing motif. Nice comments. One other point I'd make is that it should've been V8 powered. The V6, for whatever reason, really doesn't do much better than the rate mpg in a Mustang with V8. One other technical point is that the car still weighs a considerable amount and yet GM managed a far lighter car with the CT6.
