When you gain weight you can both fat and lean mass? Thats not true you can easily loose fat while gaining lean mass if you eat enough protein and have sufficient bodyfat (won't work if too low on fat)
I like Rip but he really has no idea what he's talking about sometimes. E.g. propagating the myth that you always loose muscle in a cut at 7:50 ... this has been debunked (e.g. see Greg Nuckols)
its a scientific fact that with cutting you always lose a bit of both tissues, wether being fat or muscle there's always gonna be a loss in both. This Greg Nuckols probably don't know a lot tbh
Petter Do you know who Greg Nuckols is? He was a world record in powerlifting and very clever guy. His website is well worth checking out his website, www.strongerbyscience.com I've never seen him say you won't lose muscle on a cut, but you can't say he doesn't know much.
sorry but it is a scientific fact and you have misunderstood. When you gain weight, you gain some of all the types of body mass including bone, blood, gristle and all the other miscellaneous stuff as well as fat and the different types of muscle. Same again when you lose some weight. It is impossible not to, it's how physiology works. Have you not have body composition scans done yourself? Did not hear the important detail that you can tweak the proportions of those losses and gains somewhat. And that depends on your physical activity and your diet.

Novices don't need accessories. What's the point in doing a farmers carry if you can't even deadlift 315. Once people become intermediate lifters, and have a strong foundation it's beneficial to do supplementary exercises and accessories, for strength, size and health. But if you're weak, you're only going to be able to famer's carry something that weighs like a couple of bags of groceries, which is a waste of time. You need some baseline strength before you can get any use out of other movements.

Duemkush710 literally the only way to lose fat without losing muscle is via steroids. It's just a fact of life man
No, this is a myth. See e.g. Greg Nuckols videos (or website, strengtheory).
You usually lose 25% lean mass when dieting. You can lose 10% while fasting but most people are too puss for that
I am a PT and I can’t agree with RIPP more and along with the majority of other medical disciplines. It’s all about 💴.
His website is well worth checking out his website, www.strongerbyscience.com
I've never seen him say you won't lose muscle on a cut, but you can't say he doesn't know much.
sorry but it is a scientific fact and you have misunderstood.
You don’t need 250 grams of protein lol. Not at all
Well that dude was 200 pounds
More Rip, less of the other clowns.
sure he has lifting knowledge, but he is god damn annoying in a social context.
Rip knows about strength training. He knows shit about heath nutrition longevity or anything else worthwhile .uk
Ken Carey Getting brutally strong and longevity aren't exactly two peas in a pod.
Calorie restriction and fasting are keys to longevity, how the fuck is one going to have cake and eat it as well?
Thats why he surrounds himself with the people you see answering the questions. The guy to his left is an MD or phd and does all of his nutrition stuff.
@@SiegePerilousEsauMaltomite Exactly.
And you do? These subjects are just communist nonsense and corporate sponsorship. Listening to the mainstream will not help you at all.
I wonder why Rip thinks people are stupid for voting for Hilary instead of Trump.
This is an honest question, please don't flame the shit out of me (not because it will sprain my ego or stomething stupid, just because it will get in the way of actual answers) and please don't reply with one-liner "because my point of view is obvious lol" comments, because I'm assuming you're not in the 3rd grade
nitroyetevn no replies
Back hurts, keeping going drive through till your broken. Sounds great idea!
In all fairness pain is a part of the game in lifting.
Hillary won the popular vote 😂😂😂
this man needs a thrown
RIP blue voters lmao
lmao that guy asked if they do farmers walks and they all said no, no wonder none of them look like they lift, they don't do any accessories
IIRC, Dr. Baraki squats 600 lbs (only belt+sleeves) at 195+/- BW . . . the guy on Rip's left.
Mike Basic he also has a 650+ deadlift and is now the coach of Alan thrall
Paulie Walnuts and what your lifts like pictureless person, because all these guys have 1500 pound totals lol
Paulie Walnuts o and rip is over 60 and still deadlifts over 500 pounds lol
Novices don't need accessories. What's the point in doing a farmers carry if you can't even deadlift 315. Once people become intermediate lifters, and have a strong foundation it's beneficial to do supplementary exercises and accessories, for strength, size and health. But if you're weak, you're only going to be able to famer's carry something that weighs like a couple of bags of groceries, which is a waste of time. You need some baseline strength before you can get any use out of other movements.
Oof, Rip as a Trump supporter. Not all that surprising, but that sucks.
95% of people who can bench more than 2pl8 are conservative.
Weakness leads to leftism.
just means he has a brain. Only an idiot wants to tear down the country even if that is of short term benefit to them it will not be in the long run. That is why the 3rd world is the 3rd world, the people are not smart and run the country poorly. If you do the same here it will be just as bad.
Lifters are 95% of the time not limp wristed low T liberals
