I think it was the past couple years for him. If you see others using the lever, it's pretty convincing...they finish the lift and snap it loose, pretty nice.
I'm going through a few similar videos now in order to not forget the basic items I'll need for my first gym session at a new gym. Oddly enough, many of these seem to omit the towels... you'd think that would be the most important gym gear besides gym clothes, but apparently not.
@@BarbellLogic Ahh, I see! The gym I'm going for probably doesn't have it - at least I don't remember it being mentioned when I got the tour a few weeks ago. It does have an optional sauna, though (edit: only during the winter). I'm not sure if that's something I'll go for, but it's a nice option to have available regardless. All the best from Romania!
What bag do you recommend, eBag? Could it double up for school? I'm looking for a gym bag that isn't a duffle. Could you can do a review on the bag for those who don't listen the podcast? Thanks!
I'm also part of the home gym master race, but when I did have one it was squat shoes, 4 inch lever belt, knee sleeves, liquid chalk (because my gym didn't allow chalk) and micro plates.
Guy on the right is...
an ABSOLUTE UNIT!
Thanks for having me on ✊🏼
Always a pleasure to have you on the show!

Solid look in. Need to do another of these soon.
Microplates because membership at a gym that actually has them is too expensive.
great video, very good for a gym newbie like me
Awesome...glad you enjoyed!
Matt, when did you switch to the lever?

I appreciated the banter.
We appreciate the comment.

Good point. Matt definitely likes towels when he lifts. Some gyms provide them, so always worth checking to see if a gym has a towel service.

What brand was that liniment?
Thank you: )
Sir, I'm pretty sure that mouthpiece does not set up your cervical position 🤣
This was fabulous😅
Thanks for the comment!
I just take a bag full of shame and regret with me.
What's the liniment

Awesome video you guys are hilarious. If your knees come in you’re probably a chick lol
I might have to try a 4” belt with squats.
What, no chalk
Probably because they train in gyms that provide chalk.
But Matt, where are the change plates?
joe rogan on the right???🤣🤣🤣
