I brought a client to this listing last year and it was stunning in person. Ultimately the space wasn't practical enough for her, and for the price point she wanted a doorman, but it was one of the more unique properties I saw in 2023 and it's clear the seller put their heart and soul into the renovation. I'm sure the new owner will be very happy there

Interesting place. It has the aesthetics of a parking garage crossed with a luxury bomb shelter. I note it is listed as a 2br but only has the one at the moment. The neighborhood is nice, and the views of Manhattan are stunning. Parking might be an issue as I don't see that addressed in the listing and a quick look at google maps did not show any dedicated parking within a convenient distance. When I first looked at this I wasn't sure I liked it, but it's growing on me. If I was twenty years younger (and a bachelor) I think this place would be kinda fun.
Priorities', obviously 15 feet ceiling way more important than parking.

There is no ventilation fan from the stove, with those high ceiling the place will smell like a restaurant in no time with all cooking odors having no place to go but up !!!
The vent is there it rises from up from the counter top(see 2:36)…the cutout is visible

How does one enjoy this without having family or friends?
its nice and all but they really couldnt do any better with the kitchen? why is it so cramped and tucked into that little corner, i mean for a home this big you would expect everything to be at its right proportion. also i understand this home is very open concept but it really feels empty i feel like they couldve done way more with the space

The space looks incredible but the interior design (if you could call it that) is terrible. That bed looks like a lumpy, old futon mattress just thrown on the floor. For a space like that you really should have a velvet type bedding & great bed to offset the industrial look. Also is the guy blind? Turn around and you'll see a huge maroon cabinet for storage.
I mean I know he is acting to set her up to answer his question, but his question just screams "Duh", Turn around dummy. lol MY concern is how are you supposed to store anything on the top part of that storage? Last time I checked, most people aren't 15 feet tall. Storage isn't convenient if you have a drag a ladder out every time you need to store or retrieve something. I mean don't get mean wrong, it is a killer great loft, but they need to work out more of the details.
