I have curly hair and tried out one of those... it did slightly straighten, but mostly just made my hair go poofy and frizzy. It worked for my friend who has wavy hair though!
Doesn't seem to do too well on hair types that are 3b and up.

@@spedupandcleanaudiosforyou6458 I did give it a go with heat protection and defrizzing products but it still didn't really help! Kind of similar effect to brushing through my hair normally - just straightened out the hair a tiny bit but mostly made it poof 😅 I have 3a so I think anyone curlier would struggle a lot to get much of a result/would need to spend a lot of time on it

here’s some honest tips if your wanting to buy one…
I’ve had mine for years and it’s really great if your in a rush and need to do your hair in short amount of time!
One thing to remember is that it is a straightener as well as a brush so don’t brush your hair with it like you normally would or hair loss can become an issue.
Overall amazing product and 10/10 I recommend!😁

I've had this straightener for years and I love it. The tips are rounded so you can get close to the root.

I have one from a different brand. My hair is wavy and frizzy. I find it works very well. I put a little mousse and styling cream in my hair first and it straightened really well. Held up for the entire day at a wedding

OMG I made eye contact with a sales person at the mall 2days ago & she sat me down & used that straightener on me. She said they are usually $300 but was trying to sell it for $100-150. I LOVED how it made my hair look. She even CURLED MY HAIR with it & GIRL!!!! The curls were amazing, I was shocked it curled also. But I couldn’t afford to pay that much for a straightener but I want to someday because I’m disabled & can’t use my hands well or at all some days so this straightener actually straightens my hair fast & easy so I don’t have to keep going over pieces.
I have one of these! It works much better if you hold the tip of your hair with one hand and use the straightener with the other. It’s also better for your hair since it isn’t directly putting the heat source on your hair.

Lol I do the same, but with an actual intended-for-the-back one. One of my cats just kinda sits there dazed, the other two freak out at the unknown sensation and book it. Either way, it's funny.

I think it becomes straight easier from underneath because heat rises so it rises up into the hair so it becomes straight easier while if you do it from the top then most of the heat goes up into the air above your hair

I have one of these and I love it! Especially when I don't have time to spend on my hair (that's naturally puffy and frizzy) I can just brush it through quickly and my hair looks 10 times better.
Dude! You can absolutely wash your synthectic wigs with shampoo and conditioner, towel dry, air dry for a bit (just to get as much excess water out) then restyle it with a hair dryer or that thing in sections. If it's super knotty, take it slow and brush it out in sections before drying and they look brand new. ❤

OMG I use the same one I’m black with really thick curly hair and although my hair is just naturally puffy it works so well but I recommend using a dryer with a comb for the best results

I feel like this is more for someone that already has lighter textured hair like straight or wavy because if you've got a head of ringlet curls or coils that's never going to get the very base of your roots

I have the same one and it takes about 10 minutes for me maybe less, I separate it into 2 parts too and bottom. I straighten the bottom then I take out the top and straighten that then straighten them together, I brush through a piece of hair 2 maybe 3 tines. I love this product! :)

I might get one of these to straighten my dolls hair lol 😂 I collect dolls for a hobby because I’m autistic and their hair is a mess lol I can’t figure out how to straighten it and get it untangled. People have told me I should repair doll hair for a living because I’m good at it 🤷🏼♀️

These only work if you have wavy hair. I have one and it’s great for touch ups but I can’t actually keep my hair straight with it.

Does it heat through the "bristles" or just at the base like a hot brush that's for curling? That might be why it works better from underneath?

brush the hair before doing this, and make sure that if any hair gets caught in the bristles you clean it out. could start smoking and become a fire hazard
It's hard for me to straighten my hair it's thick and long and takes too long I think longest time was about2 hours and shortest was about 45mins but that was a rush job and I've never been able to straighten my own hair well this is the kind of straightener I need thanks Sam I think I might go look at pricing now haha 😂xxx

I have one called Tame. I'm half Indian and half black so my hair is thick and a bit coarse and this works faster and I dare say better than my ghd
