The two greatest living guitarists on one stage. Amazing
Eric Clapton is the King!
Or is it Knopfler...
I saw this tour in 1988 when they came to NYC. I saw them at Nassau Colisseum in September (I think it was in Sept?) and it was, in a word, AWESOME!!!!!!!
I can't stop laughing at those smiles in the beginning
I think this is the song playing in August Osage County. It was a good movie. This is a great song.
I've seen EC 22 times, but when this tour came to town, my wife gave me a guilt trip and didn't want me to go. I know I missed a great show. Needless to say, I divorced her a long time ago.
Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler!!! what a combination!!
2 sensational musicians making some sweet music!
I like this version the best because of the bromance that’s happening here
Das ist ein Song für's Herz. Eric forever!!!! Dieses Lied ist einfach genial, Heute
gibt's so etwas leider eher selten!
Clapton loves Mark here....how can anyone not love him!
Great video. Some serious bromancin' goin on there in the beginning
This is good music
I was in frisco at the time😊❤❤❤❤❤
I had been there. It was great!
Masters...
NOOO buddy thats Nathan East on bass, probably one of the most underated bassists.
Nice ! 2 of the best !
magic
cant stop smiling
Mestres das guitarras! Top
i cant understand why they dont play anymore together...:(
Wow, this is the most 80's thing I've ever seen.
@BigRussOvBs9 a battle duel or jam of EPIC greatness. ya gotta admit
Super!
@PAPASHANEbreh It's called mutual admiration.
Mark Nophler!
where did this concert come from ? CLAPTON IS GREAT NEVER MISSES A NOTE
Everybody wants hims to still sound like he did in cream but I like his clean tones better.
Autumn leaves
Is that Nathan East on upright bass before he had the tip of his nose cut off in that terrible accident where the fan blade broke off.
He looks like a Young Dr. House MD.
Not enough people know what this is.
Nope I am not kidding.
BTW I play too.
deadset Bill Nighy on bass
yip my bad got my band members mixed up
2 on stsage
good song but i was expectin it to be faster like layla
what is san francisco doing in the description?
If it weren't for the unfortunate hair/wardrobe of the backup singers this would be a timeless video. Although Eric does look that special kind of tan you could only get in the 80's. The song is great as ever here though.
I like knopler, he's the better guitarist.
Knopler is good but he's not on the same planet as Clapton (and neither is Knopfler for that matter.)
