An Awesome view of Sierra Vista and surrounding landscapes. Informative points of interest and FUN!! Thank you for your long service to our people and nation. We need more folks like you. God Bless America
Thank you so much for the birds eye view. I've been interested in this area for awhile, has alot going for it. Mountains, wildlife, elevation, amenities. I like how you go out and explore it also. Thanks, Pal. Good Health.
I have lived in Sierra Vista for 40 + years and love it! Both my husband and I grew up as Army Brats and have lived everywhere! Fort Huachuca was the last place our parents were stationed! We love it here, so much to go do! Great Video!
I have a question, is the Peter piper pizza still there on the corner of the plaza that’s across the street from fry’s? I used to live on barataria road in sierra vista and then came back a few years later when my dad was stationed in fort huacucha. We absolutely loved Arizona and sierra vista.
@@TheHypnotstCollector We visited in the early 70’s and have lived here since 1982! It is night and day different now compared to in the 70’ and 80’s! Fry Blvd is still the “main drag”! The high school is now out on Charleston along with lots of housing and Cochise Community College. Just thought I would share that with you!
@@lauridykstra8684 I did drive thru in June or July1987. Camped out side town, Hereford area, a windstorm came up and flattened my tent. had to sleep in truck. Talked to my dad the next day and he said the wind storm made the news. Speaking of drive thru's, I guess the drive in theatre is gone....What happened to Sue and Herbs?
Do you have to have a special permit to fly around these areas? Was thinking about getting a drone but don't want to bother if it super restricted to fly since it's so close to the base.
I have everything. But you are not allowed to fly in a no fly zone. Drones like ours have built-in firmware that will prevent the drone from even taking off if you are too close to or in a no-fly zone. Plus you should always abide by laws and regulations.
Please thank your son for me I am a resident of this beautiful town of Sierra Vista. I came here as a political Refugee from California along with my sister and her husband and their daughter and her family. Great Hospital fabulous Police Department and Fire.

Nice trip and story of wonderful Sierra Vista..thanks.
I’ve traveled all over the lower 48 and honestly Cochise county and Alamogordo NM are two of my favorite places
Those are great areas, for sure.
I lived in Alamogordo 1957-62 and SV late 62-early 66.
Outstanding. Very informative as well
Very nice video.
I have beautiful memories of Fort Huachuca.
I agree with what you said about Sierra Vista, I've been here going on 5 years. It's a nice little place.

I'm new to drone flying. I know Fort Huachuca is restricted, but how are the restrictions in SV?
Pretty decent. Just stay fat away from post and libby airfield.
@@dronetasticvoyage Thank you.
Thank you for this video my son just move there he is a border patrol there 😊
My pleasure. Hopefully it gave you some great insight on the area.

Very nice video. I heard a year or two ago that this town planned to tax renters, just like home owners. Does Sierra Vista have a renters tax?
No we don't
I love to live here its my home town and its my fav
Awesome. Thank you for your reply.
@@dronetasticvoyage your welcome
Yo hey now I love Yuma and I live at the salten sea in California
Any chance we could work out something for me to use some of your aerial footage?
What do you have in mind, Sir?
For a "small" town, that place has a lot!!!; and the weather is 10X better than Phx area; not as hot!!!
Do you think you could raise goats there on small acreage?? Yeah I have pet goats....
Yeah, sure. There are people with goats here.
You have to be careful of the coyotes, they are all over. I love watching them but they can be dangerous when your pets are outside.
@@monikamaez2104 very true. Coyotes everywhere!
