Bisbee gets decent rain and some snow. Such a beautiful town! You can't turn a corner without seeing something cool! It's not Las Vegas or Disneyland and some people don't care for historic old homes and buildings but if you do..... Bisbee sort of percolates, seeps into your soul!
If you went a little further past where you went up the stairs there is an awesome pastry shop. Also down in the other side of Bisbee is the Bisbee Breakfast Club, great food. Moved from the area (Sierra Vista) 6 mo ago to NC beach town. Miss the dry higher altitude a lot already.
I actually rode through to sierra vista as well. Yes, every place has its good and bad. I am from Seattle so June in Arizona was not something I was used to. I just could not believe how warm it was at all parts of the day.
I hate climbing stairs. I love the area. There was a local guy who got out of the military and taught school there. He wrote a book called, Going Back to Bisbee. Very descriptive. During the 'hippie" days it was a real mess.
You can park along the street, I also think there was an area where you can pay to park your car. Although I can’t really say for sure, I was only there for a few hours
Go to Warren (look it up) and stay at the Calumet Guest House. Quiet, no drunk partiers, parking will be there when you return, beautiful place with breakfast. Worth the call for price info!

I knew a guy in the late 80s that wanted to move to Bisbee from SF. I wish I would have taken his advice! Thanks for sharing.

You didnt touch on the fact that Bisbee is an artist and musician community. Word is, it is becoming the new Sedona.
The art is pretty boring in Old Bisbee.
In fact a couple of years ago in a survey people picked bisbee to be the most beautiful town in AZ...and not Sedona. Interesting!
Gotta check out the mine Josh!
I did, I rode my motorcycle by there !
Very impressive
Nope. Tombstone is a year older than Bisbee, 1879 vs 1880.
The reason there's no Walmart is because we're too small an area to support one
if i drive up there and get a hotel for 3 day is there parking to park my car out there?
