Can u tell me the main differences between all of them. Cuz I have no idea 😂
Roy Mendoza here ya go: dustrunnersauto.com/vq35de-vs-vq35hr/
Love the review. G35 love is real.
Love when ppl make the Gs absolute monsters. Makes all the vq haters go silent!
hi David. nice vid. liked b4 watching b/c I knew it was goin to b good
Dude you make great content
I had Michelin PS4S tires on my mostly stock 350Z, and yes cornering is a thing that it can do well.
I would definitely recommend a high grip Z for canyon driving 👍
That intro was sick!
The VQ is only better because of cheapness and availability. THe VR is the future. Of course was developed from lessons learned on the VQ.
higher displacement + less weight
Respect for building a DE 👍🏼
damn thats crazy that with a de he was able to make 600 before building the motor. I'd have to see those numbers
The G35, I love em so much I actually went out and got me one
If u had a motordyne on a turbo vq with equal end piping you’d be amazed how good a vq can sound - baby gtr
Thats what im building!
@@mnnasty8408 what you got done to ur coupe looks clean
for some weird ass reason, the fx35 SUV technically has the 350z steering wheel (just with an infiniti badge). Like to the extent the airbags are even interchangeable. The G35 one is close, but not quite the same
Yeah I noticed the fx’s always took the z wheel rather than the g wheel. I think they took the one from the Nissan model because people at a dealership would see the g and fx wheel being the same
For all who don't already know It's the same Skyline 350GT
Well done G’s just hit different
I wanted a G35 for soooo long back in high school. Ever since I saw a black one driving on a highway, and the car seemed to vanish in between streetlights. Cool to see one as fleshed out as this.
I miss my G35.. love the RWD sedan :(
I kinda miss mine but I’m buying another 1 and putting my own widebody kit on it
You should tail light swap the rear end
David was being nice not saying that it sounds like a Trumpet , those V6's will always sound like 1 Jajaja.
oh yewah, especially with a certain exhaust lmao
I miss my G35, such good cars
turbo'd VQ's kiiiiiiind of sound like a FBO VR30 if you close your eyes and just listen. not really, but sort of
other than that, what a gorgeous build!
I got a spot for clean g’s and z’s
What wheels and tire set up are you running ? They are very sweet looking .What are the fitment sizes ?
VQ Gang
This car just sounds so unique!
Makes me miss my VQ
The 400z doesn’t have nightmares it gives them it’s the only “premium” Japanese sports car right now
And the car looks like absolute shit.
@@twitchingwithrage4683 r/immad
How exactly would a 400z scare this thing? LOL
@@twitchingwithrage4683 g35 is even more shit 🤡
@@michaels4640 it is. But you can’t sit there and say the 400z is a pretty car cuz it looks like absolute shit.
I absolutely love my VQ and all of its oil burning characteristics :)
Sweet build I'm excited had my 06 g35 coupe for about a year now looking at some mods soon
G35 is definitely my favorite, if you can't tell lol. buut mine is also AWD
I'm on my second G, had a G35x sedan and now G37X coupe and love both. Bolt ons and tunes, neither are boosted yet. But, I did have one of the obnoxiously large Auto Meter tachs that Auto Zone sold on my second WRX lol
If you ever make it to Maine, ive got a fun car for you to drive. Not crazy crazy power wise but hangs with fast cars. It's a yellow c6 mallet hammer, manual corvette. It's boosted (procharger) ect. Hits instantly, blast to drive and sounds gnarly in high rpms. Right now it makes over 720 to the wheels on the dyno, not crazy numbers but in butt dyno numbers it feels faster haha
Win for the G community, or should I say V35 Skyline
Super clean G, HR swapped mine with the plan of having that much power one day
I'm currently looking at purchasing a mint 04 g35 coupe (auto) from a 90 yr old man! I'd likely just supercharge it, but a big turbo is tempting..
Hold out for the 6mt
^^^
The car is mint tho... only 64k original miles. I've already got a manual truck, auto g35 coupe to look good in is fine with me
@@brandonroth3972 The autos can't take much power your going to blow the transmission if you go the forced induction route,
would need to snag a lvl10 transmission upgrade.
Just a thought.
Problem is, manuals are over 10k in my area, with more miles. This auto is going for 7.5
People that are starting to buy a VQ to boost it: oh wow nvm it’s way out of my budget
Boosted VQ fellas: haha you peasants
Hah yeah going FI on the VQ platform is pretty pricey, as pure NA builds they are great value and rock solid.
no cap tho, couldn’t afford to boost my HR G35 so I got a q50 redsport and i can get 650whp for the same price as 500whp in an HR
True not cheap, but big returns with a FI VQ. Love my Q... although NA. The platform Super reliable and fun to drive.
I’m saving up to boosting mine, estimated cost??
@@GuillermoFernandez-cm3bk All the videos point to 15-18k for reliable turbos. Budget on a stock motor about 10k. Cheapest kit is 2.5k rev9 but you have to tune and have supporting mods and installation...adds up quick
Awd not too common for Nissan? Guess someone forgot the G platform also comes with Attesa awd.
I get UG2 vibes from the G35 really an amazing car
So funny that I start seeing all the g35 videos 2 weeks after I buy one, 😅
i, for one, absolutely LOVE the trumpet sound but i understand how it could be too much and annoying 😂
M35 here I love it!
So impressed with this Build
Duuuuuude the sho’nuff sticker is fucking mint I love The Last Dragon that’s probably thee best modification he’s made to that car
