The engine is bulletproof as long as you keep up with the maintainence. 120k on mine, still drive like a dream. After the spark plugs replaced, they engine is even more smooth;)
Great car in beautiful condition. I had a g35x with 150k miles. I sold it and got a g37xS and racked up 200k miles on it before upgrading to a q50s 3.7. The q50 now has 150k miles trouble free miles on it. However the vr30 twin turbo v6 found in newer Infinitis is actually garbage and known to fail by 100k miles (turbos fail and engines blow)
So your right about the steering rack seaping. Every Infiniti i have ever owned has had that issue. But it was never an issue. I just made sure fluid was topped up once every couple of months and tracked my cars and never had an issue even beyond 200k miles
Yes just make sure it's stock and wasn't modified. People race these cars and track them. I track all my Infinitis. And make sure it's not beat up or abused
An accord is a good car. Its all about what you are looking for. If you want the best gas mileage and cheapest service costs than keep the Accord. If you are looking for more performance and luxury than the G37X will be an upgrade, plus it has AWD.
You can slap this car silly and it will still stay with you till the end lol. TL ES350 etc, this car feels tighter and stronger then an SUV. But I might have to sell it soon :( 15.5 MPG is killing me..
The 2-door coupe 2013 G37X in black is what you really want, that 4-door sedan is more of a family car. Go ask Scotty about the 300,000 miles on this car.
