The map book he refers to is the "Baja California Road and Recreation Atlas - 2nd edition" by Benchmark. If you search for Road Atlas and Almanac you won't find anything.
Me and my buddies just got out of puerto canoas, out of nowhere a storm rolled in, the easy track into canoas became a mud wonderland, even with capable 4x4's we started doubting if we could make it to the highway. In baja its better to have 4x4 or at least awd and not need than to need it and not have it.
I'm not sure if advocating participation in the "Mordita" scam is a great piece of advice. This sorta diminishes the credibility of information here, IMO. Otherwise, the general info is relatively concise and helpful.
Perfect. Listen to lots of these and yours is the most concise and comprehensive. Bthanks!
Excellent! Safe Travels Buddy!

No link to almanac, gps, etc? I looked them up and could not find them. Found something by benchmark but was not called almanac.
