Do you guys only oly lift and do exercises to better your lifting? Or do you do circuit training type stuff too? I'm new to legitimate lifting and am interested in bettering my strength and not just lean appearance (but that's a plus).
4:09 ??? is this some crossfit type deadlifting? The way he lifts it just seems like it would just destroy your lower back. as in hips are really high and he isn't using his legs to drive into the floor to lift the weight, he's pulling with his lower back and doesn't seem like he's engaging his upper back and not locking out. In the end it seems like his lowerback probably hurt, he couldn't stand straight.

RedLion They aren't "facts." I quote "facts" because they are superficial. These are not dangerous for "your back, your knees and elbows," and you have no evidence to prove otherwise. Do not spread myths like this if you don't even know what you are talking about, it discourages people from doing it, even though it is something they would and could reap great value from.

It looks like they risk injury to the wrists by hyper extending them with the bar at the top.

keeping your shoulders over the bar. deadlifting in a similar fashion that youre cleaning. your upper back actually has to be very strong to do this
