Can you run just the suffix 832 to your lure or is it best to have a mono leader and if so how big a leader are you using?
I use a 6-10ft 10lbs fluorocarbon leader. I’m sure you could run straight braid and still bit. Just my personal opinion but, I don’t think fish see line as well as people think they do.
