Oh, I get that! I’m blessed to live in an amazing city, or country for that matter, so have never felt scared. Since i was little, kids would just roam around alone, i think it’s a culture thing. That being said, I still know where i’m walking and specifically choise areas i’m super comfortable with :)
If a bad guy is going to attack you he’ll do it regardless of what you are wearing, because even children and women in full burquas are raped, because it’s about power, not about lust at all. That being said, you can look up safe walking paths in your area, and go with a friend if you feel like you still need the support.
I love walking on trails but I never go without my husband because I never feel safe out there alone. I'd love to live somewhere where I could explore nature alone.
I also have a fear of walking alone in the woods, not only because of the fear of being raped or murdered, but I live in an area with a lot of predator wild life which also scares me so much! I totally feel this girl. Lately, I've been trying to challenge myself by going for hikes alone because I know deep down I shouldn't allow that fear to stop me from doing something that I actually love to do.
Just saw this video. Nice tips & it's indeed quite a displcined acitivty to make it to 20k steps daily. I try & do 14k to 16k steps overall daily. It takes some thought, discipline & dedication. Keep up the good work. 😊
I agree about the first hour. The first walk of the day feels so good, but the rest of the walking throughout the day feels like a chore 😅💀 I try to listen to podcasts but I do find walking very boring. I prefer riding a bike and swimming and other forms of cardio. Oh well
I’m at 10k a day and feeling transformed. You’re inspiring me to bump it up maybe to 15k. What i want to know is what are you going to do now? Any more regular walking?
That allergy is called MCAS - immune system overdrove. I have it too. Best to keep the gut well - it's where the immune system lives. I also dot myself with essential oil that keeps them away, and it's not toxic :)
I am on the 9th day of 30 of walking 15000 steps! I also do 100 pushups. 100 ab exercise repetitions and 100 squats + one 2 min plank. It is not a lot, but consistency is key.
Is that 450,000 steps in 30 days and 3000 pushups, 3000 ab exercises,3000 squats and 60 minute planks all in the span of one month? That is absolutely CRAZY but a MASSIVE MASSIVE ACHIEVEMENT ever accomplished! 😊😊😊😊😊
@tahzeebulalam8094 It is a good start to prove myself that I can stick to a good habit. I am still going strong, not long to go to finish this challenge!
WHAT?UHH WHAT is that actual daily walking training! That's means you've walked between almost 15 to 30 MILLION STEPS. That is INSANE and very impressive
I lost 3 dress sizes In 6 weeks going from a UK size 14 to a UK size 8. Probably only lost about 7 pounds tho. That was walking 20k steps a day in 3 x 1 hour chunks
Don’t you get bored of the same routes? Or you tried to switch it up as often as you could? My problem is that I get bored of routes so fast (even if I listen to music or podcasts), I live in a big city and really in the center, so Im like where should I go? Not so many parks (or just smaller ones), not so many hiking rails around and I get bored so easily and get frustrated with not knowing where to go (also try to avoid touristy places with many people), when to turn back around, etc… So I’m curious how you got over that (if it bothered you any way at all) or “planned” your routes beforehand? Btw you really motivated me and planted the seed in my head, so I’m definitely gonna try to walk 20k a day after New Year’s Eve for 30 days 😊
Sometimes i do, but that’s why I try to mix it up as much as i can! I’m lucky to live in a place where there’s a lot of places to walk, so that’s really helpful. Also sometimes i drive to a park or even outside the city and then walk there. I think it all comes down to my outlook on it-The more grateful I am to even be able to walk and enjoy fresh air, the less I complain about little things! :) And good luck in your 30 day challenge! ❤️
Yes,obviously walking has tons of pros but not without its cons. Walking can not only decrease depression, anxiety, stress and improve mood, but it can also be fun with music podcasts and others.
SOMETHING to seriously think about and plan for Smart to bring mace and some other self defence object JUST IN CASE ! BE very observant of your surroundings too, not a good idea to wear headphones
Cool experiment. you mentioned you lost 2kgs, but would have been nice if you did some other objective tests as well, like running and comparing the times before and after, and perhaps some strength tests...Also, i don't know how much exercise your arms got during that, I think that using walking poles would have been great for some of the walks (i think it's called Nordic walking?)
Yeah, definitely. Since weight loss wasn’t my main objective, I didn’t focus on it that much. But there’s always room for in depth experiments in the future :)
Congratulations 🎉 👏…I’m currently on day 4 of my 20k step challenge. I broke it up with JumpRoping 10k first thing in the morning, which takes me 1 hour. Then walking off the rest during the day. I walk 10k and run 10k every day.... weight is stuck. I also fast and omad and I don't have my period thanks to coming off DEPO. I feel kinda lost tbh.
It sounds to me like you’re putting your body through way too much. I would recommend seeing a health professional to help you create a more sustainable daily lifestyle! But for starters, i would quit the fasting and omad and decrease the amount of km you run every day. Your body is not a robot, especially as a woman, loosing your period is a huge sign that all of this is too much. Try to be a bit more gentle with everything and see if that improves your overall wellbeing!
If your periods stopped, you’re overtraining and maybe not getting near enough calorie nutrients. Take it easy for a little while and start eating more…fasting might be causing your body to hold onto fat because it’s alarmed by all the energy you’re burning
Good Job!!! I walked my 2 Giant Schnauzers 5.19 miles in 1:24 this am ... That's prob a bit more than 10k steps you think? I want to get to 20k per day.. I might run 5 miles this afternoon without the Pups... But it's 90 degrees here today in the San Francisco Bay Area... Might take a nap instead! Lol.. : ) but you look great!!! So Cute! So healthy!!! I wish that you were "my walking buddy"... I'd love to walk miles and miles with you! ; ) : ) Please have a great day!!! : ) Thank you for the awesome Video!! You inspire me!!! : )
Did you walk 20k steps only from actively walking or was it cumulative from your walks & steps in ur daily life (I.e. walking to ur bathroom, to ur room etc) ?
Depeneded on the day. Some days 20k was just from the walks and then the extra 1k was gathered throughout my apartment. Other days it was 20k combining the both. I had a smartwatch with me at all times so my only rule was to get 20k every single day no matter where I am walking.
I started walking for a little over an hour a day. Got too hot in southern California, so since I have a elliptical machine I switched to using it. I do four miles Monday through Friday in the morning. Between that and my normal activity I usually get over 10,000 steps a day. Usually burn between 500-650 calories a day. I rest on Saturday and Sunday. So far it has been a good balance.
Great you walked a lot why video yourself, vanity, something to show your friend, wow we learned everything about nothing, try putting some statistics together ( weight, blood pressure, bmi…….) oh by the way, that’s BEFORE and AFTER. You look fantastic before the walk. Xxx

It’s so sad but as a girl I would be so afraid to walk through wooded desolate areas alone let alone in tight clothes :’( you look great btw
Oh, I get that! I’m blessed to live in an amazing city, or country for that matter, so have never felt scared. Since i was little, kids would just roam around alone, i think it’s a culture thing. That being said, I still know where i’m walking and specifically choise areas i’m super comfortable with :)
It’s funny that people say that. I never see any dubious characters in the forest. They’re in the cities.
It is a boat load of discipline to accomplish this.
Once I started working out at the gym and the initial ouch wore off, I was hooked….it makes me feel energized and healthy and HAPPY.
I daily naturally get 14k steps and i love walking
That’s amazing!
Just saw this video. Nice tips & it's indeed quite a displcined acitivty to make it to 20k steps daily. I try & do 14k to 16k steps overall daily. It takes some thought, discipline & dedication. Keep up the good work. 😊
Enjoy the journey - very good
Ran into this after my last walk! Unfortunately I hit 18746. Cheers to your journey outside of these 30 days.
Good preparation for the Camino de Santiago where you walk between 30,000 to 40,000+ steps per day.
Wow! Really? I’ll have to google that seems insane amount
I clicked thinking I would at least hear results, but props to you for sticking the 30 days out.
I agree about the first hour. The first walk of the day feels so good, but the rest of the walking throughout the day feels like a chore 😅💀 I try to listen to podcasts but I do find walking very boring. I prefer riding a bike and swimming and other forms of cardio. Oh well
I think any kind of movement is amazing! It’s all about finding what you love
@@adventurelife1123Is your challenge over and what results you got?
I’ve been doing it too! I’ve been taking 20-40k steps a day for the last 2 years!
WHAT?UHH WHAT is that actual daily walking training!
That's means you've walked between almost 15 to 30 MILLION STEPS.
That is INSANE and very impressive
Yeah next time imma make sure someone is following me when im walking down one of those trails. Its gotta help get those extra steps in.
Fat loss is the key not scale weight. Smaller clothes size😊
Not so many parks (or just smaller ones), not so many hiking rails around and I get bored so easily and get frustrated with not knowing where to go (also try to avoid touristy places with many people), when to turn back around, etc…
So I’m curious how you got over that (if it bothered you any way at all) or “planned” your routes beforehand?
Btw you really motivated me and planted the seed in my head, so I’m definitely gonna try to walk 20k a day after New Year’s Eve for 30 days 😊
Sometimes i do, but that’s why I try to mix it up as much as i can! I’m lucky to live in a place where there’s a lot of places to walk, so that’s really helpful. Also sometimes i drive to a park or even outside the city and then walk there. I think it all comes down to my outlook on it-The more grateful I am to even be able to walk and enjoy fresh air, the less I complain about little things! :)
And good luck in your 30 day challenge! ❤️
Very inspiring! Thank you for this video.
Btw the challenge was amazing ilva ignatovica!
Yes I take 2 one hour walks morning and evening for a total of 6 miles a day 12,000 steps
That is actually a decent amount of daily steps for anyone!
Have you tried barefoot shoes? I love walking and this has been a major game changer for me. Feet are much stronger and happier.
No, I haven’t even heard of that! Will look it up
Wow you did it 🎉🎉
One question what changed in your body?
I Love this video so much!
Thank you for sharing!
It is Very Inspiring to me.
I'm so glad! ❤️
I'm pretty much the same.
Does walking help with terrible anxiety? Does it help alleviating anxiety symptoms?
It does for me. Walking literally improves my mental health in so many ways
Yes,obviously walking has tons of pros but not without its cons.
Walking can not only decrease depression, anxiety, stress and improve mood, but it can also be fun with music podcasts and others.
@@tahzeebulalam8094I get tired after 3000 steps. 10000 steps are the maximum I have done.
SOMETHING to seriously think about and plan for
Smart to bring mace and some other self defence object JUST IN CASE !
BE very observant of your surroundings too, not a good idea to wear headphones
What shoes do you reccommend?
Cool experiment. you mentioned you lost 2kgs, but would have been nice if you did some other objective tests as well, like running and comparing the times before and after, and perhaps some strength tests...Also, i don't know how much exercise your arms got during that, I think that using walking poles would have been great for some of the walks (i think it's called Nordic walking?)
Yeah, definitely. Since weight loss wasn’t my main objective, I didn’t focus on it that much. But there’s always room for in depth experiments in the future :)
I have knocked knees but the right one is more knocked so whenever I walk too much, my right hip hurts but I love walking 😢
Started my journey 🎉
Good luck!
Thank you for the awesome video
Congratulations 🎉 👏…I’m currently on day 4 of my 20k step challenge. I broke it up with JumpRoping 10k first thing in the morning, which takes me 1 hour. Then walking off the rest during the day. You’re English is awesome for not being your mother tongue. How many languages do speak? Just curious bcuz I’d like to learn German. Thank you for making this video. Your editing is 💯 😊 ❤
Oh, that’s exciting! Wish you resilience and positive mind in your challenge 💪🏻
Fluently I speak in my mother tongue and in English. Currently I’m learning Korean as well :)
Your body isn't getting enough food and is overworked so it's holding on to what it has.
Go to the doc probably overeat or thyroid issues or commenting just to discourage others
Use a scale for everything you eat ❤ you’re probably overestimating. Hire a coach ❤. That’s what helped me.
If your periods stopped, you’re overtraining and maybe not getting near enough calorie nutrients. Take it easy for a little while and start eating more…fasting might be causing your body to hold onto fat because it’s alarmed by all the energy you’re burning
I'm just beginning my 30 day 20k, I'm on day 2 lol
Oh, nice! Good luck
Did it help to listen to music when you walked?
Oh, absolutely! I love music so it just makes the walks way more fun
Wow! I am absolutely impressed with your determination and consiconsistency👏 Please pass some of it to me 🤗
main problem is the time it takes to do 10k steps walking, just 10k already take 2hours 4hrs just to walk walk feels like a waste of time
Is this a random challange or you have bigger (farther) goals for walking? Like the Camino trail or other ones?
Currently, no further plans. But i love to challenge myself, so you never know
I feel amazed when i was completed 30k steps per day it takes 5 hours and 20 km
I walk 20000 steps a day for 3 month i last 42 p
Any tips for blisters in the first week or so? Besides good shoes. I have great adidas shoes, but still get blisters.
Wool blend toe socks. Tape any hot spots. Basically treat your feet like you're on a thru hike of the AT, CDT or PCT.
Ramp it up, let your feet get used to it. And yes, wool blend socks.
does running/jogging count towards step count? also wat shoes did u wear for most of ur walking?
I experienced nearly the same ❤
Damn , every time a i see a walk by the camera shot , im thinking of what it took to set up the shot 😂😂
Hahaa, yes 😄
@ValentinG23,What are you talking about?
Is it great,is it disrespectful or something else?
Ok, how much weight did you lose, hows your blood pressure, waist measurement, cholesterol etc changed after 30 days?
Unfortunately she just said she lost 2 KG (4.4 lbs) in 30 days which is absolutely PATHETIC!
I usually do 40,000 steps in a day - only 4 1/2 hours.
Wow, you must be fast
💀💀
That is insane. How fast are you?
Is it faster than 6 km/h
I wish I could walk more. My plantar fasciitis really flares up though
I struggle to walk 10000 steps because I’m bored as hell. what do I do
Try listening to music or a podcast :)
Yeah, just listening to any podcast or music can help you feel more motivated to walk more.
I do this always!! even when I'm at home or more!? What's the problem
That is insane Amount of calories BURNT everyday.
Btw that is an average physical activity everyday for anyone
I think I'm in love
Great you walked a lot why video yourself, vanity, something to show your friend, wow we learned everything about nothing, try putting some statistics together ( weight, blood pressure, bmi…….) oh by the way, that’s BEFORE and AFTER. You look fantastic before the walk. Xxx
It’s like asking an accountant why they’re counting numbers. 😄 i’m “videoing” myself, because this is what I do! The challenge (almost 1.5 years old now) was an awesome experience more focused on my mental and emotional well-being and is not meant to be a science video on BMI’s. It’s my personal, tiny documentary!
Why are you sounding harsh. It’s a challenge and she’s videoing!
You can walk across any world city!
omg that smile 😍
My new crush. More power.
WHAT THAT IS VERY NEGATIVE
No one should do this because that is A CRIME THAT SHOULDN'T BE EVER COMMITTED
If ilva ignatovica saw and replied back,She would've been VERY ANGRY and her expression would be different if she made a video about that TERRIBLE COMMENT
Do you count the steps you take regularly or are the 20k steps just from the actual walks?
It’s 20k steps a day altogether
Very encouraging
Can you walk 30,000 steps everyday for 30 days ?That would be awesome and more cooler experiment..Remember 30,000 steps takes around 5 hours or more of walking..So everybody wants to see that 30K steps daily challenge..
So for me I unfortunately only walk 6000 to 8000 steps everyday, which is 5 times a week..But inshAllah I will start the 10,000 steps everyday first, then the 20,000 steps everyday and finally the 30,000 steps everyday challenges..❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hmm, that does sound like a cool challenge! Will keep it in mind 🤩
How do I find a safe area near me to walk
Ughh, this is a hard one, i’m sorry you don’t feel safe where you are now.
For me, i live in a relatively safe and wonderful city so have never felt like I need to look for a specific place. Since I don’t know your area, i can’t really recommend anything specific other than travelling to a well-known, safe public space and then taking a stroll there!
Conceal carry
I Can Walk Between 20-30k Steps Which 800-1400 Calories.
Walking between 20K to 30K steps burns 1000 to 1500 calories respectively!
Girl where do you live?? It looks exactly like my dream place to live ❤❤
In Latvia. It’s filled with forests, rivers, and lakes. I love it ❤️
@@IlvaIgnatovica amazing! My dream place for sure. Would love to visit someday. I will have to make it all the way from India haha! Where are you from?

I once walked 25k steps a day for a month. Didnt measure myself lol.😅
Do you mean km? Or steps?
You look good, you are qualified to Puma walking shoes ads.
Eat as much or less as you do for the pass 2 months to keep the shape.
Lol i wish i could do my 20k in 4hours it takes me 8 hours 😂im working on speeding up i just walk really slow
Don’t be so hard on yourself! I get days where it takes me forever to just walk 5k. In the end It’s all about the intention and just moving your body regularly 💙
Nice I do 15k steps a day too
Ou, nice!
I'm currently trying to get 1 million steps in by Halloween....31 days
Oh wow! Good luck!
@@IlvaIgnatovica thanks, currently at 370 k steps with 15 and a half days left. 40k steps a day from here on
THAT is an insane challenge.Almost no one has ever done this CRAZY challenge of 1 million steps in 30 days which is almost or exactly 800 km(that's 500 miles).
@@tahzeebulalam8094 did 536k last month, should get a million this month no problem
@@KennyG233Yeah I'm not kidding About it!
Barefoots is the way to go for good walks and strengthen your posture.
But what about the injuries?
@tahzeebulalam8094 good point have nu injuries they advice you to start slow. My slow progress was like 10kilometer at the first day, I gained strength and less back pain as I had before.
