Hi! Love your Seat Paint Attempt and your *honesty!* You had me _snorting_ when you said, "From a Galloping Horse it looks fine!" At one of my FX Shops I freelanced at, the Boss would sometimes say a "similar thang" to a late nyte deadline nervous crew, _"Don't worry Folks, it's a far away wide shot!"_
@@KeepOnWrenching I agree. Maybe I’m not clear. I meant put the stencil on, spray the first mist coat black then the rest white. Only the first coat will bleed, that will seal the stencil on and the white should have crisp edges. Works on other surfaces, I’ve never tried vinyl.
Hi! I just understood what you meant & said there. Will try that on a mess of projects I got goin' on in the shop. Since I have a small vinyl plotter here, I was gonna cut out a decal with #frogtape or some other good gracious no-bleed Painter's Tape before reading your comment. Now I've "got two options"! @@robertboyer5498

Lol! I’m glad you enjoyed the videos that was a fun project. Wide shots for the win!
Hey Keep. That is cool. I will try to remember this when I have finished my seats. Thanks for sharing.👍👍🍁
Easy and actually looks really good. I’m pleased.
Pro Tip: Use a hairdryer to help get the stencil off. It helps to not pull paint off where you want it to stay. Works better, every time.
Good idea. Will keep that in mind for next time. Thanks!
To add to this, plastic razor blades are also super useful for not marring the leather.
SEM makes great vinyl paint. 👍🏻
This stuff seemed pretty good I’ll have paint for decades. Lol. Not sure I’ll need to buy more ever.
You did good dude. Nice job. Knucklehead me would have started at the edge of the O hole and prolly boogered it up.... derp derp. Lol
It came out great. A month or so later I dropped a screwdriver on it and punctured the top. Lol DOH!
@@KeepOnWrenching Well crap. 😧
@MaryK4242 it happens!
Could you do a video on what’s the difference with the TYPE-1 cl350 comparing to standard
I’m not totally sure..fat cam on the early ones. I’m sure there’s a google article about it.
Great vid
Thanks! It was a fun project.
@@KeepOnWrenching ya man been buzzing through a bunch of your videos. I have a few old garelli mopeds been polishing up
@@Carbon420Blazing that’s fun. One piece at a time. It’s a process!
What’s your general location and do you ever go to the Mississippi valley fairgrounds.
Michigan
You could always match the seat color with one coat and fill in where it bleeds, then paint the white over that. Might work. 🤷🏽♂️
It’s a really heavy paint…easy to get messy or globby. I’m sure there are many ways to go about it. That stencil is the way to go IMO.

Wow. Watching paint dry. Just kidding. Thanks for the advice. Where did you get the stencil?
eBay
Could i paint it with plastic dip?
You can try! It’d peel off pretty easy!
Where do you all buy replica frame VIN tags/plates? Mine is beat up.
Try kz900.com/decals/decals-honda-cb350-550.html
@@KeepOnWrenching Do you happen to know if they make them on tin and not just a decal? On my way over there...
@@Fezzler61 I’m not sure. There are some hard to find ones. Maybe ask the FG group?
