I got one from the cancellation sale. I’m going to try to be a 46er here in NY. I’ll get training with the wait time of these shoes. Not going near a jungle with them thou.
I really appreciate the build and work in the boot, especially the extra work on making the upper with two different leathers. The 360 stichdown is always great to have in my opinion. It is definitely a great jungle boot inspired design. I would caution anyone to not use these in place of actual jungle boots if the missing key features are needed.
*Really cool how they took inspiration from the jungle boots and Nick's Builder Pro boots, to create these boots! Boots are always evolving. What a great pair of boots!*
Do not for the love of god wear these in the jungle. You need boots that drain the water out and dry quickly . These are well made boots that mimics the look but not the function of a jungle boot .
This really stings and is painful to watch. I ordered nd3 boots back in October, but I still haven't received them yet. I was told they would be ready late February early March. Apparently, do to a leather delay I am still waiting. Good luck future nd4 customers!
@JinsKookieJams yes, called them and then went to the store physically, they did email my wife over a month ago stating they went into production, but no notification they were in another delay. I'm at their mercy at this point
looks sort of like a jungle boot, but it is in no way a jungle boot. if you wear these in a hot humid environment it will guarantee you get trench foot. canvas, drain holes, ventilated insole, direct mould sole, these are the things that make a jungle boot a jungle boot.
I think anyone old enough to have worn issued jungle boots are not fooled at all. I also think we are far to old to be spending any time in the jungles anymore. A very cool memento boot I will enjoy riding the bike wearing. :)
Looks like a very tricky build with using the two different colors of leathers. I hope Weston sees this video to see how much extra effort to make these boots. I enjoy seeing these video's.
How are these jungle boots supposed to drain? That was one of the features of jungle boots was fabric sides and drain holes in the instep. They do look well made.
OMG I LOVED my OG Jungle Boots when I was in they had to get cut off in the ER one night them babies were like slippers after the years and miles put on them
I’m sorry, but absolute bullshit NICKS. on the email notification registry over a year for this jungle boot and nothing .. now two weeks ago you post this video. Do I need to pay double ? Whoever you have sending out notification for your drops should be fired.. I want a pair. Let’s do business
No fabric panels, drain vents, or saran insoles for fast drying. No Panama outsole to resist mud cling. Even a detail as small as the leather laces would be a problem in a jungle environment, due to weakening from constant wetting and drying. That’s not a jungle boot, it’s just a regular boot with green highlights
I am from Brasil and live in a very humid and hot place and this boot is very hot and could retain humidity. But as full leather boot can protect you more against snake bites
Look nice and sturdy. But the 4 pairs of real jungle boots I bought in the early 90's for $25 a pr can't be beat. On my third pr, still one last pr new in box, probably die with them on.
Sewing up those panels 'just so' looks positively stressful. I would need therapy... preferably the kind that can be found at the bottom of a whiskey bottle.
Cutter man needs to invest in a nice swivel knife. I feel theyre easier to use than box cutters tbh These sewing machines honestly scare me. I worked on a knife sheath made from Monarch 64. With only hand sewing. Even with pre punched holes it was tough work. That machine chews through like its cloth. Scary
I don't know if y'all did a behind the seen video of the employees making thease boots but that would be great if they want to be on camera, there talent is amazing
It's a nice and sturdy winter boot, but it's expensive to buy in poorly governed countries like Turkey, so I'll just watch the video. Also, why are some parts of the video missing?
These are for those lumber sexuals that wear boots as fashion and not as a tool. You can bet they’ll buy extra long pants to cuff high so you can see ‘em.
No spike protection. Garbage. Everyone wants to be exclusive. Over priced trash. Call a boot a boot. But never call a jungle boot a jungle boot unless it's a real jungle boot.
Beautiful boots! But how about claiming Jungle 'inspired' boots instead?
An expensive hipster interpretation of a purpose built boot that now has no purpose.

How tha fuck is a JUNGLE boot 100% leather??
IKR? The boot is gorgeous but There needs breathability.
@@johnwayne2103 breathability is literally the thing that makes it a jungle boot😂
hard to make it waterproof without it being all leather.
poke some holes in it.....and don't get bit from the snakes
Make the real jungle boot using Cordura. I loved my issued jungle boots. A super quality pair would be great!!!
From a retired vet: "This please."
I'll third that.

Marketing baby
*Did you call and/or email them at all? Be sure to do that.*
@JinsKookieJams yes, called them and then went to the store physically, they did email my wife over a month ago stating they went into production, but no notification they were in another delay. I'm at their mercy at this point
Maybe these are yours.
@josephsutton8817 hope not, I ordered the nd3 model. But at this point I would probably settle for some Becca boots.
These boots are obviously for in town fashion use. Not actual field use.

The ones I had issued to me also had the stainless steel plate in them ,
I did fine for 3 months of se asian monsoon season. Nicks laces were shit though and snapped 2 or 3 times each

Fashion nothing else

I love me some 360 stitch down construction 😎
The best option for water resistance!
Not a jungle boot
nothing will ever be better than 2000s Wellcos
Most people think the Nicks Tactical boots will be good enough if they want rubber slip sole, foam, and lug outsole combination
Just dont actually wesr these in the jungle 😳
this is really cool, but you've completely missed the point of jungle boots, you had me excited for a minute.
Gotta admit they look cool, but unfortunately it appears to be more of a luxury fashion/cosplay piece than a real jungle boot
All 500 pair sold.

Very nice looking. Not jungle boots though. Wrong sole and wrong materials.
Do they have to sell all 500 pair before they start production?
Hello sir Nicks I am from India and here we have some jungle boots for trekking but some issues.
Not genuine Jungle boots then , I see Danner make a good Jungle boot
These are the last boots id wear to a jungle lol all show n wrong materials, overpriced
lol yeah all leather with no drain holes. Wear these in the jungle and watch your feet start to rot within two days.
Wow!!!
Do they have vent holes to dry them out quickly when you wear them in the water like the original jungle boot
Nope

Saigon Hightop , the height of fashion !
Those are going to be hotter than balls!
Ooh Rah !!.. from a NAM VET
Great video guys!!
ครับวันนึงเราจะมีงานและมีเงินเดือนขอบคุณครับผม✌
I understand they aren't real jungle boots but it wouldn't be difficult to put some drain holes in them.
Lots of Work , to make a nice pair of Boots , your Feet are Important , don’t cheap out
Sewing up those panels 'just so' looks positively stressful. I would need therapy... preferably the kind that can be found at the bottom of a whiskey bottle.
Pass
Easily $700 million.
Cutter man needs to invest in a nice swivel knife. I feel theyre easier to use than box cutters tbh
These sewing machines honestly scare me. I worked on a knife sheath made from Monarch 64. With only hand sewing. Even with pre punched holes it was tough work. That machine chews through like its cloth. Scary
would love to own a pair of these. But couldn't afford them!
Where can I buy it ? these sold out 😢
I don't know if y'all did a behind the seen video of the employees making thease boots but that would be great if they want to be on camera, there talent is amazing
Great job bat boy's
No drain holes or canvas. 😅
What about the mesh insert like a real jungle boot?
It's a nice and sturdy winter boot, but it's expensive to buy in poorly governed countries like Turkey, so I'll just watch the video. Also, why are some parts of the video missing?
Spectacular 🎉
Did you purchase a pair?
I'm curious how many have actually purchased these?
Dude, I'm close. I dig them enough, but when I get to check out and I see it's another $30 for shipping, it makes it hard.
I want a pair
The sewist is earning her pay with this one. Hope they throw some extra money her way.

Jungle boot in look. But not in function.
