Since you've covered majority of the Sengoku era, you may want to consider doing other "what if's" like this one. They are a lot of clans and scenarios that you may want to cover in your next videos.
I like how you relate to History. Your knowledge about the Sengoku Jidai Period is amazing. It would be very entertaining to seeing how you would act in a time where Oda Nobunaga try’s to claim the land. I believe many people would watch your let’s play. Keep up the good work. (If you do so, pls do not use created officers)!
My personal “What if” is if the Takeda (under Shingen), Hojo (under Ujiyasu) and Uesugi (under Kenshin) manage to form an alliance to deal with the Three Unifiers, while in the west and south the same thing happens between the Mori (under the old Motonari), Shimazu and Chosokabe (the idea being that the Shimazu and Chosokabe get to take full control of Kyushu and Shikotsu respectively while the Mori receive aid against the Three Unifiers and against the Otomo), around the time of Nobunaga’s march on Kyoto (so that all the big-name individual daimyo would be still around and with their clans on the rise or at full power). Nine of the biggest names in the Sengoku Jidai in three different alliances. Let them fight. Bonus points if this prevents the Imjin War from happening and saves a lot of Korean lives, or if the Ashikaga Shogunate takes advantage of this to prevent itself from getting overthrown (because everyone who could pull it off is busy fighting everyone else).
@@bkjeong4302Yeah the Korean invasion was stupid. I also would've liked a western alliance (Mori, Shimazu, Chosokabe etc.) and eastenr alliance (Takeda, Hojo, Uesugi etc.)
I have to admit. I’m now considering getting this game thanks to you 👍 Also, as a Takeda fan, I thank you for making this video. Takeda Shingen would’ve been very pleased with your victory and diplomatic skills.
Nagashino to me is one of the saddest moments/battles in samurai warfare... The Takeda (primarily Shingen) was the only clan that I believe possessed power and ambition to defeat Oda Nobunaga, if only Katsuyori had made better decisions. I think Uesugi Kenshin also had the power and prowess to do so, but I don't think he had such an ambition.
I feel that if Uesugi Kenshin had lived another 10-20 years, then even without overwhelming ambition, necessity would have brought him to the larger stage. Given Kenshin's alliances, I feel Ieyasu would have switched sides. Effectively dooming the Oda. But ultimately, Ieyasu would likely still end up on top. Albeit with a different power structure.
I think that had he been born later Mori Motonari could beat Nobunaga. That’s tricky though because he hard carried the Mori clan early on because they were surrounded by powerful and large foes like the Ouchi and Amago.
@Sukitron I mean he was 75 when he died. That's already better than most other daimyo lol. Only a few others lived longer than that like Amago Tsunehisa who lived to be 84.
@@Chris_MarMar fair point but if he'd lived as long as say Hojo Genan for example he might have been able to make the Mori masters of all of Western Japan not just chugoku
