"Legend of Total War here. Today we've got a Saving Your Disaster Battle sent in by Mr.Akechi Mitsuhide, going against Hashiba Hideyoshi. The situation looks pretty hopeless but here's a trick to abuse the Hashiba's AI..."
Great video. I love this game, played it non stop when it came out. I didn't know anything about the Sengoku Jidai but was a fan of the Three Kingdoms period but I absorbed all that I could which eventually brought me to your channel seeking more. Thanks🙂 Edit: As far as I remember the NA trait increases the following stats in battle by 10%: Attack, Defense,Movement(5%), Surround, Fortify and Pincer Attack.
Everyone knows that Mitsuhide would have won if he hadn't lost Stonewall Jackson at Chancellorsville 1 month prior. As an aggressive Commander Jackson would have interpreted Mitsuhide's vague order to seize the high ground of Tennozan "if practicable" different and done it on the first day of the conflict.
@@Wakizaka_Yasuharu whats an NFA? Also your username, I like that character a lot. I play samurai warriors and he's depicted as a tragic hero, a friend who's loyal to the end
@@HungTran-gz5em Well, it's written there, NFA is Not Frontal Assault, and what that means is you shouldn't attack the enemy head on. And also, I'd rather fight a winning side that never gave me a reason to live than fight a losing side that never gave me a reason to die.
Clearly what he did was just assuming his secret identity for diplomacy. "Oh but what about whenever Tenkai speaks to him?", you ask? Well, that's easy to explain. Basically that's just Mitsuhide having a schizophrenic episode.
Seeing a full battle play was super interesting. I've got a decent amount of time in this game and while I can do the administrative work fine, I haven't really been able to grasp playing the battles properly.
Can you please cover the topic of Kaieki in future since after Sekigahara, 88 Daimyo faced these sanctions while 5 Daimyo such as Mori and Uesugi faced severe genpo. I do know one thing is for sure though, The Tokugawa shogunate gradually established its domination by turning territories that were left unoccupied as a result of kaieki or genpo into shogunate territories and by allocating these territories to the relatives and hereditary vassals of the Tokugawa family and transferring feudal lords unrelated to the family to remote territories. So I'd appreciate it if you explored this more and the importance of political marriages
I would love to do more but I don't know if it would be better served on a separate channel or just streaming, because these types of videos are not that successful for me despite the great feedback I get on them!
There is some kind of bug with Nagashino, as soon as battle begins, it says that ive failed to secure my possession and now have to fight in the old ways.
Nobunaga's ambition trait: When in battle, the trait has a 10% chance to activate giving the following bonuses: Attack 10% Defense 10% Movement 5% Time to change form 10% (faster) Surround 10% Fortify 10% Pincer Attack 10%
from my understanding of pouring hours into this game it just seems to be a general "hey in battles when it activates it'll give him a crapton of stats", which is kinda why fighting the Imagawa in the pre Nobunaga starting dates can be a real uphill battle, because they'll wipe out the Oda and recruit Nobunaga when he comes of age who'll just be a rough time to deal with unless you happen to have the highest tier officers available, which depending on your faction, you might not have that privilege.
Thank you for the interesting video of what if Mitsuhide won at Yamazaki. I agree that the allies have a big impact for Mitsuhide. Japan would be very different if that happened. Looking forward to your next video!
OMG this was the worst game ever by Koei. The map was so small, language was all in Japanese, way too much micro management. I love to play but GD. If you've never played it your not missing anything. Way too many buttons and concerns right out the gate. Beautiful graphic terrible playing.
This comment I'm writing before watching the video, just a prediction. I wager sending a messenger to the Mori, who was fighting a stalemate with Hideyoshi at the same, would prevent the rapid return to Yamazaki that Hideyoshi did. More time for Mitsuhide to stabilize the situation and muster more forces. Anyway, How to win X battle, has great potential as a series
Nobunaga : I have finally unified the land Mitsuhide : u spelt unified wrong Nobunaga : huh? Mitsuhide : nth just future surprise my great lord 🙏... Hehe😏
This can become your new series because its pretty intriguing seeing the what if scenario in game, i also recommend using NOBUNAGA'S AMBITION iron triangle or even better NOBUNAGA'S AMBITION: Taishi because the what if ambition is more rich in both game in there but yeah its still need you to buy DLC on nobunaga ambition in taishi just like in this game, in the end I'm happy for this new series because now you can have new content so stay healthy 👍☺️
I must say that i would like it if you make a new series with this What If Scenarios.👍 Maybe What If Katsuyori Takeda wins at Nagashino?🤔 But If you do that pls try to lower the sound a little bit this time 😂.
Not a silly question at all! To be honest I do not have a direct answer, but due to the fact that samurai armies relied upon war drums, conch shell horns, and a multitude of banners to organize things, I do believe there was some semblance of a cadence to their movements.
I played this game for months going from clan to clan conquering until I made my own clan with the names of my real clan am a Arab Bedouin btw but am in love with history

You should try Winning at Nagashino. It makes me very curious.
I dont know, cavalry charges vs muskets doesnt seem very winnable

Isn't the palisade is hampering the red cavalry advance? i mean the oda can just sit there because they already won too on the siege
Like Date's One Eyed Dragon, it can trigger mid battle and provide your army with a buff to stats
Taking notes :D
Great topic!👍💓
You NEED Tenkai for this!
So you're telling me all Mitsuhide had to do was clone himself? ;D
It appears so!

Need an AU Spinoff called Mitsuhide's Ambition
If Nobunaga pounded the national rice cake, Hideyoshi kneaded it, and in the end Ieyasu sat down and ate it, did Mitsuhide steal it but drop it?
How to win at Sekigahara (Mitsunari Ishida) or
How to win at Osaka's Last Stand (Yukimura Sanada) would be awesome too :D
Here's a fun idea. What if Nobunaga survived or escaped the night he was betrayed? 🤔
I suspect that "China" might be a mistranslation, it shouldve been Chukoku, the Chukoku region posessed by the Mori clan
I thought the kanji used to write "Chugoku" (the region) and "Chugoku" (China) are different?
Interestingly, the first Nioh also has the monk Mitsuhide theory in it.
well..... if mitsuhide gets his way, he'll eventually had to face ieyasu, interesting
Two Mitsuhide to handle diplomatic relations OP

If you started earlier could you be him and plan more long term for the betrayal?
How to historically win the fight would be more intriguing.
Haha not sure if it would have even been winnable historically speaking
