Why Marvel NEEDS A Soft Reboot

- Avengers: Secret Wars is set to conclude the Multiverse Saga of the MCU and may also introduce the concept of a soft reboot, bringing forth a new universe based on Marvel Comics. This aligns with the reintroduction of characters from the Fantastic Four and X-Men, including Wolverine and Deadpool in Deadpool 3. An MCU reboot could provide a fresh take on the Hulk, Thor, and the Avengers. Some actors are expected to remain, such as Charlie Cox as Daredevil, Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel, and Tom Holland as Spider-Man. Recasting for characters like T'Challa (Black Panther), Captain America, and Iron Man could also be well-suited for this new iteration.

Hulk DESERVES a reboot of a proper trilogy the audience needs to see.
Starring with a younger actor, the scottish James McAvoy (44 years-old).
@@Metalffe Yes, the same actor.
@@alextovar5666 I'd personally like it if David Tennant was the Hulk in the reboot.
@@suryasingh9738 He is older with 53 years old, James McAvoy would be better, he is 45.
@@alextovar5666 Maybe give Oscar Isaacs a chance to play the Hulk. James McAvoy isn't a bad choice, but I don't think they would go with a well known actor for the Hulk if he gets rebooted again.
The DCEU is doing the same thing by becoming The DCU. If Superman: Legacy proves to be a success, it'd give me a clear idea on what the MCU soft reboot should be like.
What are you thoughts on what the MCU soft reboot should look like?
??? DCU is a complete hard reboot, not a soft one
@@pr0to.j03They still have Waller, Peacemaker, and that whole cast carrying over. As well as Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle.
@@butterstotch3233 Yeah and nothing that happened in the DCEU is canon to the DCU 🤨
@@LightninJimmyJoeJohnsonisn’t the flash movie canon?
Finally found a UA-camr that gets it regarding End Game's huge problems. It tied off some characters well but crapped on the characters that were hitting their peak in prior movies.
That is not peak Thor. That is peak MCU Thor. Avengers Assemble and EMH did a better Thor
Exactly
W vid.
Bruce, T'Challa and Hank Pym would definitely benefit from a reboot.
Not to mention Thor and the F4, as for Iron man, Spider-man, Wolverine, and Cap they would have REALLY big shoes to fill. It would also be nice to have it back to back with the new DCU as fans can imagine possible crossovers whenever they want.
@@suryasingh9738 I mean, mcu Tony Stark is trash tho, He never fought The Mandarin so he for sure is not a True Iron Man
@@ArcTrooperRod-269 I don't agree about him being trash or a fake Ironman, he just didn't fight the Mandarin. Maybe the reboot could have that.
@@suryasingh9738 aside from never fighting the mandarin, The dude looks & acts nothing like Iron Man, is just RDJ self inserting himself(but to be fair, 90% of the mcu characters are that, specially Thor & Moon Knight)
@@ArcTrooperRod-269 Aren't they literally the same person? Besides even if it wasn't, it improved the character in the eyes of many fans.
Okay
Changes I want to see
1. An avengers animated series that allows us to revisit previous events in the mcu. Maybe see more of the OG avengers
2. X men film that takes place in the 2010s around 2013-2016 ish
With the brotherhood
Effectively stopping civil war because the sokovia accords dont come up after scarlett witch fucks up an avengers mission. Because in this timeline scarlett witch was either in shield custody or at the xavier mansion
3. Rebooted spiderman
4. Rebooted thor
I don't want comic accuracy. I've already read those comics. I do, however, want faithfulness and respect to the source material. Somewhere along the line the MCU lost that respect
I always thought wolverine spiderman and ironman was the trinity
I almost got it😂
We definitely need comic fans to helm a new era of the Marvel Universe as well as having the directors have unique and interesting visions. They can’t feel like the same style there has to be a distinct feel for each movie.
I would like to see a new Black Panther. I love Chadwick Bozeman’s Black Panther and I understood why they went with the way they did with Wakanda Forever but T’Challa is such an important character to the Marvel Universe and there’s so much more stories left to explore with him. My brother’s also sad that he doesn’t get to see his favourite superhero in movies anymore.
Thor and Hulk have been ruined by Marvel and I think it’s about time to introduce new versions of the characters that respect the comic characters. Thor should have his helmet all the time and really lean into the mythology and lore of the Thor character. We shouldn’t be shying away from the more comic book aspects of these characters. Hulk needs to be shown due respect. He’s one of my top 3 Marvel superheroes and I want to see him done justice. The Hulk and Bruce Banner duality has so much room for interesting and chilling stories. I also want to see some Hulk villains be adapted like Red Hulk, The Leader and Absorbing Man. Another important aspect for Hulk is to get Rick Jones right. He’s a crucial part of the character.
In conclusion we definitely need a soft reboot. I haven’t even gone into the X-Men and Fantastic Four yet but they should be the focus of the universe along with Spider-Man.
I think we should have some movies that are just stand alone sure they exist in marvel but ya just enjoy them stand alone. Invincible is great it doesn’t need to be connected to all of image for me to enjoy.
Hulk is treated this way because Universal owns the right to Hulk movies. So like Spider-Man, the MCU can't just do whatever they want with him.
Marvel owns the rights to the hulk and they could make a solo movie if they wanted to but if they did then universal would have the right to first refusal (meaning that if a solo hulk film were to be in Development, then Disney would have to approach universal and see if they want to distribute the film; and if universal says no then Disney gets to distribute it) So universal don’t own the rights to hulk because if they did he wouldn’t be in the mcu. So honestly it’s Disney fault that hulk hasn’t gotten a solo film and not universal
MCU needs an area specific reboot
We Need Something to restart the MCU
I do not like Black Panther as a character sometimes and I do not like his paring up with Storm. As for the Hulk....it will take a gamma size miracle to fix his character.
Boseman isn't Black Panther, he was just a good actor that passed too young. These people trying to retire a character are overeacting hard, yeah it's sad but the actors AREN'T the characters for god sake.
Did people ask for GoTG.
Oh, Mr. Enterprises, can you make videos about Marvel's animated movies and how good or how forgotten they are... and the decline in animation and shows?
If they reboot, I want them to make the time period ambiguous, and not reflective of real life. I don't want Spider-mam talking about Tiktok, or using braintot lingo.
I would honestly make everything after Endgame (except for No Way Home) non canon and go on from No Way Home. Black Panther 2 should be redone with a new actor for T’Challa
Gotg 3???
I think a reboot would be good for the MCU. In fact, if they really wanted to, I would pull the “incursion card” and roll it into an adaptation of Hickman’s secret wars to where the MCU could start a new. The FF could be introduced, and you could actually maybe get a “New Avengers” team. So Spiderman, Wolverine, Captain America (Bucky), Hawkeye (or Ronin) , and Hulk, and with Carol Danvers Ms Marvel.
Then go from there. This team should definitely have some of the heavy hitters that recognizable That way you could have this universe more tailored to focus on the Masters Evil as the big antagonist through out.
I’m praying James gunns dcu is successful so it makes marvel get they shit together 🙏
I am wondering if the mcu will get back on track before the dcu does.
I enjoyed hulk in the MCU i dont hate him i think its alright. I like how its a new take on the dr.jackel and Mr.hyde situation. Where Jackel accepts Hyde as a part of him and become one being. Now i do think in depth character focus hulk movie before ragnorock could have help. Or even have 2 different marvel films take place in between Infinity war and Endgame showing the growth of these characters. Captain marvel is obvious since they hinted at it in Infinity war. Another one could have been a prequel one similar to captain marvel. we explore Bruces trauma and why he hated turning into the hulk. Show how destructive hulk have a character like maybe doctor strange help bruce with astral proctjection to connect better with hulk. Then at the end we see banner accept hulk and not treat him like a monster but as a other part of him. Over tome as he does this was see banner now labeled as smart hulk become a thing. I do think black widow should play a part in this film since it does seem she was the only one to help calm hulk and i believe she could be a major player into help hulk connect better with bruce. This is my idea of how we get smart hulk or rather the MCU version of Professor hulk/ Doc green.
So you're ok with Bruce KILLING HULK off-Screen & never aknowledge that 🤢
@ArcTrooperRod-269 I said i like the ides of smart hulk. The issue was that it was off-screen. I think if we got a movie or maybe a Marvel special explaining this then I think it would have been done better.
@@porg-fv8vi Last Jedi Fanboy=Opinion Invalidated 🤮
Hulk film taking place in the past is pointless
I have honestly been thinking about this one for quite a while because of its time and relevancy. But Magneto may very well be one character whose origin will have to change. Due to him being a comic book character that actually (and maybe unfortunately) lived through a real world event, in which helped unlock his powers.... Im just sayin is there a way to competently explain how a man from 1945 WW2, who would be somewhere in his 80s or 90s, hell maybe even his 100s in 2026 or whatever, would be able to believably just be casually throwing metal objects around? Even for us comic book fans that seems too.... ridiculous.
Make a retcon that says having mutant gene generally makes you live longer and age slower
Magneto living through the holocaust is very important to his story. Just give him an extended lifespan, do some time travel bs, or have someone put him on ice like what happened with Captain America, do not change his story beyond that
*4:51** What pisses me the most of MCU Chris Hemsworth Self Insert(Because I WILL NEVER call that thing THOR) is how they just turned him into a Generic Sci-Fi Alien, when he's suppoused to be a Fantasy Demi-God, to the point they even Took Away his Emblematic Barbaric Shakespearian Articulation & instead talks like a UA-camr Vloger*
Give the man some respect, he did a pretty good job in Infinity War, and actual had Thor be at his best.
@@shirothr5384 still wasn't thor, Was Just Chris Hemsworth being Chris Hemsworth, & it pisses me off because movies like Extraction, Transformers One & Heart of sea Proves HE IS A GREAT ACTOR, but the MCU formula always dictates that the actors have to be themselves & barely let them to actually act
@@shirothr5384 While I think that it could've been done a little differently, they at least had a good excuse to make him the way he was in Endgame. I would've done it differently by making him overexercise every day to cope with what happened.
@@shirothr5384 I did like him better in Thor 2, but if that's the route they were going with then it's not the worst way to go.

I agree we need a new black Panther they need to make the hulk the hulk again and we need xmen in the MCU
They should to bring in grey hulk maybe have the 3 way split personality thing
Bro why you keep saying 616 when talking about these flicks when that’s just the comics 😂
Have you seen Dr Strange Multiverse of Madness?
No, more seriously, is it really inconceivable that several universes have the same name?
The mcu is it's own multiverse separated from the comics
I say keep most of the (still alive) characters as the same actors. For the majority of them the actors are great choices for the characters, and the issue is the writing and directing. Recast the dead characters, recast the disliked characters(Carol Danvers) but keep the good.
IMO, Spider-Man, Deadpool, The Defenders, most of the GoTG, The Punisher, Doctor Strange, Howard the Duck, Shang Chi, Moonknight and even Ms Marvel&Thor should all be kept, recast the rest
I want a Ghost rider reboot💀🔥⛓️🏍️
😂Agree
I fucking hate how like you said the mcu don’t hire writers and directors who are fans and read the comics but marvel wants to be different that bad huh?
Funny thing is Hulk has no sequel film in all the MCU so they did him dry like that in the first place. The reason it took this long is because MCU doesn't think Hulk is interesting enough on his own to hold another movie he plays well when on a team with others on screen.
Blade is black male hero they did right in the past so...yeah.
MCU dosen't have the Rights of the Hulk!!
Universal does
Ok?they didn't have rights to Spiderman yet they still gave us 3 movies with a 4th coming@@ineedpowers5151
It doesn't
The smart thing to do is to nuke everything post End Game, erasing idiotic concepts like TVA and reintroduce the avengers like this:
Bucky as Captain America
Rhodes as War Machine
Dr Strange regaining his title of Sorcerer Supreme
Black Panther recasted with a new actor
Sam remaining as Falcon
Scott Lang as Ant Man
Kinda like what Red VS Blue did with Restoration?
Nah I would keep Sam as Cap. It doesn't really make sense for it to be bucky
@@chrispeart1394 Bucky is the best choice, not only is his relationship with Steve is light years more developed but also him being a fellow man out of time it would make much more sense for him to take up the mantle both as a way to find redemption and as a new beginning for him, with a new purpose. Sam was already well established as falcon and only got the title because of political pandering both in the movies and comics.
@jondoe2979 First, stop with the whole "political pandering" nonsense. Captain America has ALWAYS been political. Dudes whole purpose was to fight nazis. Second that's kinda lame ability wise. Bucky would just be Cap with a metal arm. Third, Sam is has a more interesting story as Captain America. Him not having superpowers and being a black man offers a different take on the character, and shows what truly makes someone Cap. Finally, Bucky just doesn't wanna do it. He's got so much other ish going on. Another burden is the last thing he needs
@@chrispeart1394 First of all, spare me of the "it was always political" excuse, that is just idiocy that writers use to justefy twisting characters for the sake of their dumb agenda. Fighting nazis is pretty much universally considered simply fighting evil bad guys, it is not a political message,
it is something universal that every hero does, that doesn't make it okey to twist his legacy for the sake idiotic politics. Captain America represents ideals and morality, NOT politics and trying to twist that for the sake of idiotic agenda pandering is not okey.
Second Sam is nothing besides an obligatory diversity copy cat.
He got the role because he was black not because it made sense or was interesting.
Also just so you know, Steve and Bucky also have no powers, the super soldier serum only takes you to peak human condition, having super powers means that you can go beyond the limits of what is achievable to an ordinary human, you can never train to be as strong as Superman or as fast as the Flash for example.
But Steve's level is not something unachievable.
Third "he just dosn't wanna do it" is one of the dumbest and lazies excuses modern writers use when they want to avoid giving something to a character that makes sense i favour of giving it to a character that fits their worthless political agenda.
Becoming the new Captain America is not taking on another burden, it is taking up a responsability that he believes in and it
would be the perfect way for Bucky to restart and find a new purpuse in life after speending years being brainwashed and living in hidding.
Just like Superman is the symbol of hope and Allmight is the symbol of peace, Captain America is the symbol of freedom, this works perfectly with Bucky's story, after spending years being used as a tool by other people now he would be able to fight for something he truly believes in, choosing to carry on the same Ideals him and Steve fought to protect and finally leaving his dark past behind towards a new beginning.
That is much more interesting than the Sam who's entire character revolves around him being black, if it wasn't for that no one would care about him.
Nah I'm ready for a total overhaul. Don't get me wrong it's not that I dislike the MCU, but it did have some problems I'd want to see be fixed such as villains aside from Loki or Thanos being overarching villains or having more fleshed out and unique characters instead of the majority of them just being the same quirky jokester.
Doctor doom toner stark feel so weak and too unreal.

I feel like as long as Disney is in control, we will never see better Marvel movies be the norm again
Watch M Enterprises make a Marvel Hates Hulk video
Ahh,a man afte my own heart. Yes my head canon is the X-men dimension Monica was in will become apart of the mcu verse. Same with 616 and ultimate.
Personally something I would like marvel to allow directors to tell their own marvel stories like those 2000’s animation dvd released films.
I am wondering how the X-men will be in The mcu start with the original 5 or have a well established X-men team. I can go on all day about ideas. I just write my own marvel stories in its own continuity.
I would like the idea of the mutants always existing in the mcu but in hiding. I am thinking Xavier erased the mutants from earths mind and the fantastic four too. Maybe not long after the original 5 or as I call them “ *the X-5* “ but still continued to train mutants like they had a load of students in X-Men:Evolution.
They will get rid of Tom Holland's Spiderman and already have with the movie. They want Miles Morales in there and they'll do it by any means they can. Plus, actors age so recasting is not off the table.
well depends if disney or sony is in control. Sony might use miles morales as the main spider-man. Disney would likley recast peter parker and have miles as a supporting character.
Did you see the teaser of "Deadpool & Wolverine"?
Yes dk it!
I agree with Hulu x-men hanks x-men no race changes x-men in comic
Thor went film makers read comic
Mcu fans are so tame next to snyder fans. I don't get the hate towards them, yeah they don't read the comics, but they enjoy the movies nevertheless. Look, it's not like the source material is high quality literature.

Well said.
My cast would be
Henry Cavill as Tony Stark/Iron Man
James McAvoy as Bruce Banner/Hulk
Kirsten Dunst as Pepper Potts
Matthew McConaughey as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin (He would have the voice of Armando Coria, from PS5 Marvel's Spider-Man 2 (2023))
Eva Green as Hela (She would have the voice of Kerygma Flores from Disney XD show Earth's Mightiest Heroes (2010) and Thor: Ragnarok (2017), also because Flores is the regular voice of Eva Green)
Viggo Mortensen as Odin.
