- My edited arrangement of Baldur's Gate 3's "I Want to Live" on piano! Just finished a playthrough of this game and filled with many emotions, this song brings a lot of depth to me especially listening to it in game for the first time... Having 0 expectations coming into my first ever D&D game, it has blown my mind to the point that I think this is Game of the Year for me! Really amazing job to Larian Studios for creating such an amazing game.
SPOILER WARNING
The bass of this piece representing the time ticking is such a great use of musicality in this piece. It represents your inevitable fate as you try to get rid of the tadpole in your head. It also reminds me of Gale's mission to use himself as a bomb for his suicide mission towards Moonrise Towers. In this arrangement, I changed the pitch between the male and female singer of this piece as they sing separately during the verse but sort of come together towards the end. The time signature change towards the end going into 2/4 before returning to 4/4 is an amazing use of musicality to show "one final breath" before the what seems to be more of a sad ending (?) of this adventure. Who knows... Please enjoy this piece!
