My wife has a brain deformity and was disabled in an accident 8 years ago. She has some things she just can't do. On bad days she is a prisoner in her own body and she needs my help. Other days she is pretty independent. I love her more everyday. In sickness and in health. We Well done Judd.

It's so awesome to hear Judds perspective of being married to someone who is a chronic illness/pain warrior. I'm 29 and a chronic pain/illness warrior myself and I'm so scared I won't find that one special person to be the other half of me. That I may be too much to handle. It is just so comforting to hear from Judd on how he feels. I know God has a plan for me and my love life, I just sometimes fret over these things. So thank you Jaq and Judd for showing that, it really helped my anxiety.♡♡♡♡

Irony level:expert don't worry, God has a plan for everyone. I don't think God made us just to be single and depressed for the rest of our life. We all need that other half. Everything comes for a reason. Just be patient.
Judd and jaquie are a perfect match. I'm just sooooo happy that jaq found that special person.

I am so glad Judd's words helped you in some way (: I believe a lot in God's timing. Sometimes it is hard to just leave things in his hands as we want to know when these events will occur, but God is in control and that gives me a lot of peace.

Irony level:expert I felt this way for a long time. 3 years ago, i met a good man on the Internet. I know this because When he gave me his word it was proven when i was sick(he knew it before me) and he's always just there when i need him. You'll find him no matter the age.

I just wanted to comment and say that your channel is really uplifting for me and I'm so glad that I came across it. One of your videos was recently recommended in a chronic illness group I'm in and I'm super thankful for that. I have EDS, POTS, GP, and a few other things (plus my husband is in the military, so I have to deal with a lot of my health stuff by myself when he's working too), so I relate to a lot of what you talk about and your tips have helped a lot. From little things like the headband-scrunchy thing that keeps your hair back (because really, who has the energy to re-style it if it gets wet? I got one of those and it's a lifesaver) to bigger things like getting durable medical equipment approved and set up in the house (working on a shower chair right now, so the transfer bench video was awesome), I really appreciate you putting these vlogs together because they have helped me a lot. So yeah, thanks so much!

Hearing Judd's perspective on you and how he helps you when you need it is really beautiful. It's good to be independent but it's also good to have that awesome support there to help~ You two are super awesome! Also is Judd always kinda shy around the camera? He doesn't seem too open around the camera but seems like he's opening up and getting used to it slowly.
Keep on fighting strong!! You're such a brave woman!

Blessings.

When you give Harlow a bath again try filling a few 5 gallon buckets with water and let the water sit in the sun a few hours to warm up, she may not like getting wet with the cold water coming right out of the hose it can be a bit cold. So try using warm water and a large cup of some kind to poor the water over her body. She might enjoy it more I have 2 great danes when we give them a bath they like having warm water more then the cold right from the hose, hope this helps.

Thank you for all you do to help others understand medical issues. I found out today that on the 24th I will be getting a port. This will save me and the nurses at the infusion center and ER hours of digging at my poor arms looking for a non calloused vein. You talked about vancomycin causing itching, I have had the same experience.

It's great to see that Judds there for you if your need him. It's lovely to see that you have got a plan. The times I've had MRSA Ive had to be in isolation in hospital for weeks. I was on vencamiasine, One of the side affects of that particular antibiotic is that it can make you itchy all over. I scratched myself red raw.i didn't get much relief from Benadryl so I ended up having to wear scratch mittens. Hope you're not feeling as stressed out now. I hate how much of my days are taken up on the phone to my varying different specialist. Sometimes all of us chronic warriors need to take a break from all of our medical stuff.Hope Judd enjoys his time with the family.Take care sweet 🇬🇧💜🐶🙏🏼

Whoa! Judd's shorts, are, interesting! Lol. It was nice to hear from Judd. My husband tries to understand and does an awesome job at helping me and supporting me. I'm waiting on a court date for disability and am not working, so he does get frustrated with the tight $ situation and that can cause some tension. But he has NEVER let me down. He also has a lot of undiagnosed joint pain, stomach troubles, and has had a heart attack and he's only 36, so it's not always practical for him to focus on me alone. But he still gets a gold star 🌟and the Husband of the Year Award🏆!! I'm glad your Dr is building a treatment plan for you. Keep on keeping on girl!

You definitely looked like you felt better when you got back home. So glad you were able to spend some time doing what you enjoyed rather than focusing on medical stuff. It's so important to treat yourself every once in a while - especially when you are experiencing rough times. Whether it's buying yourself a little gift or going on a mini adventure like you did, it is a natural antidepressant. I've had some rough times recently, too, with my depression/stress/GI issues (I have acute gastritis and diverticulitis; I also have chronic IBS-M and Celiac disease) and found that watching my favorite movies and listening to good music helped me through the negative thoughts. Fortunately, I'm doing much better due to the right medication! :0)

Jaquie I just finished watching your "All About My Autism" and now this one. I need to tell you what your video did for me. Thank You !!! You are infectiously happy and optimistic facing the challenges you have had bestowed upon you. YOU are so awesome. Your video answered many questions I have about my ASD diagnosis I have struggled with for 8 months. It took me forever to garner the courage to search for a therapist. I chickened out on calling so sent a comment through a website. Disappointment #1 rejection email but had referrals
Disappointment #2 called referrals and made an appointment. Got called back to tell me go elsewhere.
Success #1 I watched Jaquie video "All About My Autism" Your video has answered many of the questions I needed help with.
Your courage is awesome. I pray for you having to face so many challenges while you help others. Thank You & Hug'sssss

You and any other young person with an Autism diagnosis are fortunate to know the why's of your behavior. I was born in 1948 and lived a lifetime of never knowing why. But, knowing I was different and living daily with the results of my life. My first diagnosis was for face blindness. In my life, I always tried to keep a positive outlook and enjoy the journey, no matter the challenges. Again, thank you.

As someone with chronic mental disabilities and a few physical ones to but mines more mental its nice to hear a husband's point of few. This makes me think to ask my husband how it is to have a spouse with disabilities.

Do you also have a staph infection? My oldest one had a staph infection of the bone when he was four following a major crush injury to his leg. He by gods grace kept his leg and his life. Prayers for you I know it can be very discouraging for each set back, but I'm glad you have such a good positive attitude.

I agree with you; sometimes you just need to do fun stuff and get your mind off the medical stuff.
Your husband and doctors sound very supportive.
My dog is the same way; very active!
Maybe you should put turmeric in the stroganoff. Yellow is prettier than grey-brown.

That itching you felt with your IV Vancomycin use is called Red Man Syndrome. It often causes your entire face to turn beet red and become hot and tingly. As you found out, the reaction which is not an allergy can be headed off at the pass with premedication with IV Benadryl. It can also be eliminated by slowing the drip rate. For some silly reason, doctors often want a fast administration of the IV, which isn't really necessary. I got mine over four hours after the sensitivity was noticed the first time. I think the IV Vanc is going to kick your toe's butt and have you back on the path soon. I hope you have a speedy recovery.

I'm on vancomycin too! Have been for the past month for C. Diff. These resistant bacteria are so frustrating! I'm on my second round and still don't feel like myself. I really hope the vanco works for you! It'll be one less thing to deal with!

I make up new words all the time because half the time I forget common words🤔

When I had cellulitis on my leg, I was on IV antibiotics because they weren't sure if it was MRSA. Vancouver is a good antibiotic. I was on that. Good luck. I had a home health nurse when I had this procedure. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I'm allergic to vancomycin and can't really say it with my aphasia I get with my dysautonomia, I like Vancouver much better! 😂 I can imagine the nurses now "Any allergies?" "Almonds, life, sulfa, cillans and Vancouver" 😂😂 bad thing is they would probably not even be phased by it coming out of my mouth 😂

So thats probably what you got! And apparantly its a very common reaction to that antibiotic :) i hope everything goes well and that you can kick that mrsa for good 😁 i love your vlogs all the way from sweden!

You can actually train goats. It’s a little bit harder than dogs but it’s doable, especially if you get them as a baby. I’ve lived on a farm all my life, we have goats.
