Just a piece of advice. Turmeric has a very low bioavailability and if you take it as it is, only a small percentage is absorbed. To enhance absorbtion, put some black pepper (freshly ground if possible) in your turmeric milk; also, curcumin is soluble in fats so I suggest you also add sweet almond, coconut, flaxseed or olive oil. This way your body will absorb more curcumin and you will feel a lot better :) xx
@@nadineaugustyn130 I don't know, maybe? All the readings I did suggested the use of both black pepper and oil, many recipes I've found use sweet almond oil. I'd use some just to be sure!
Rain Darcy thanks for this advice! My dad told me also about the pepper for absorption :-) I haven't heard about the oil. I'll look it up though. Thanks for the helpful advice. X
I love having self caring rituals. Its really exciting to listen to yourself and find new creative rituals. I like moon bathing once a month. Cleansing the home and aura with crystals and herbs. I havent done the feet soaking or nutritious drinks in a while, but you have def. Inspired me. Could you maybe make a video on various nutritous drinks and herbalism ? Thank you so much all the love
ѕσυlιƒєѕтσ ah sounds lovely! Cleansing the home with crystals is great! I burn sage regularly to clear any heavy energy. Aura cleanses are great too. I don't do them enough. Thanks for the video suggestion. I'll keep it in mind. Have a wonderful week x
Another great video. I love the short ones of less than 6 minutes. I'll keep those suggestions in mind as the days get colder and the winter more difficult to endure. Brrrr...
The more I watch you videos, Niamh, the more I feel like I am developing a connection with you. So I'll be sitting back drinking some mint (from my pot yay) green tea and I'll think of how you inspired me to do this. God bless you and your country. Love from Pakistan!
ruthierue62 hey there, glad to hear. You can use coconut oil or almond oil. Sesame has a specific purpose of warming the body. Coconut oil will cool the body even if it's warm. I'm not too sure about almond oil but really any oil will give benefit. X
I love your garden ! I don’t have a green thumb n I live in an apartment.. n I have killed many many plants .. 😰. All the fresh herbs are so expensive to buy here .. it must be so good walking n collecting herbs n flowers in your garden. I always thought it was such hard work n dedication. I do have around 20 odd decorative living plants in my apartment as I feel they bring life to any space .. u don’t feel alone with a plant .. they need so little n always make space alive n beautiful with simplicity. But herbs n vegetables have been too tricky for me .. .
I’m not sure if you want kids and no judgement if you don’t, but you are a dream and I see you as a wonderful mother (or aunt or friend) figure. Thank you for these videos!
i am trying to get back to more natural living.. Just found your channel and so far am really enjoying it. I like that your ideas are simple enough to do myself with just a little extra effort.
Your foot soaks seem so fancy~ I want make the time to do a foot soak like that one day :) An I've never done a hot oil message before, I'll have to give that a try. Thank you for the suggestions. :)
Indians love ginger / masala tea for winters .. a simple winter skin care was mix glycerin with rose water n use as lotion . Vaseline for chapped lips . Roasted nuts in cold evenings ..
You should try castor oil massage...it gives you a beautiful glow and helps relax your muscles!! To remove excess heat from your body pour some hot castor oil in the middle of your head and rub it into the scalp.. Recommended to do it only during summers.
verónica in orbit I soft think it really matters. They are always in an airtight jar. Usually I keep in fridge. But I have kept them in the cupboard before and they are fine. X

I love your name. My family is Irish on both sides and wish my mother had given me an Irish name but she chose a Scandinavian one for me. My brothers all have Irish names though :)
1) herbal foot soak
2) nutritious drink
3) relationship with yourself.
4) face mask
5) hot oil massage

Nadine Augustyn Yes, coconut milk works. Anything that has fat content. You can also add a tsp of coconut oil if you’re not sure.
Or take the supplements 🙄
